Depth sensing indentation (DSI) tests at the range of 200-1800mN are performed on porous sialon ceramic to determine the indentation load on Young's modulus and hardness values. The Young modulus and hardness (Dynamic and Martens) values are deduced by analysing the unloading segments of the DSI test load-displacement curves using the Oliver-Pharr method. It is found that Young's modulus ET, the dynamic hardness HD and the Martens hardness HM exhibit significant indentation load dependences. The values of Young's modulus and hardness decrease with the increasing indentation load, as a result of indentation load effect. The experimental hf /hm ratios lower than the critical value 0.7, with hm being the maximum penetration depth during loading and hf the final unloading depth, indicate that our sample shows the work hardening behaviour.  相似文献

Abstract

The solution properties of the exopolysaccharide marginalan produced by Pseudomonas marginalis HT041B were investigated by means of low-angle laser light-scattering, capillary viscometry, and rheology. Potentiometric and viscosimetric data indicated the absence of a cooperative transition of the disorder-to-order type. The experimental findings obtained in dilute solution (Mark-Houwink coefficients, rigidity coefficient, characteristic ratio) suggested that the polymer behaves like a semiflexible chain which adopts a disordered conformation. The rheological behaviour of more concentrated marginalan solutions, as determined by means of both steady shear and oscillatory measurements, further confirmed the disordered conformational state of the polymer in solution.

The experimental details are reported of Laser Ablation Molecular Isotopic Spectrometry (LAMIS) and its application for performing optical isotopic analysis of solid strontium-containing samples in ambient atmospheric air at normal pressure. The LAMIS detection method is described for strontium isotopes from samples of various chemical and isotopic compositions. The results demonstrate spectrally resolved measurements of the three individual 86Sr, 87Sr, and 88Sr isotopes that are quantified using multivariate calibration of spectra. The observed isotopic shifts are consistent with those calculated theoretically. The measured spectra of diatomic oxide and halides of strontium generated in laser ablation plasmas demonstrate the isotopic resolution and capability of LAMIS. In particular, emission spectra of SrO and SrF molecular radicals provided clean and well resolved spectral signatures for the naturally occurring strontium isotopes. A possibility is discussed of using LAMIS of strontium isotopes for radiogenic age determination.  相似文献

Copper(I) 3-methylsalicylate (CuMeSal) mediates N-arylation reactions between aryl boronic acids and aromatic heterocycles (Chan–Lam coupling) under moderate reaction conditions (K2CO3, methanol, 65 °C, in air, 3–5 h). Both electron-rich and electron-deficient aryl boronic acids and a diverse set of N-heterocycles were allowed to react and gave N-arylation products in reasonable yields, which demonstrate the utility of this catalyst.  相似文献

The internal bremsstrahlung (IB) spectrum accompanying the β-decay from 185W radionuclide has been measured. The obtained spectrum was analyzed into its constituting gamma lines taking into account all the proper corrections. The analyzed spectrum was compared with those theoretically calculated. The experimental results for the IB probability were found to be in good agreement with theoretical calculations especially with the shape corrected modified KUB theory of Nilsson up to 357.7 keV.  相似文献

In order to rationalize the effect of the size and coordinating ability of counteranions upon the structure of Ag(I)–dithioether coordination polymers, a series of such polymers has been synthesized by the combination of the 1,3-bis(methylthio)propane building block and AgX silver salts (X = ClO4 (1), BF4 (2), CF3SO3 (3), SbF6 (4), C6H5COO (5), CF3COO (6), CF3CF2CF2COO (7) and OOCCF2CF2COO (8)). The dynamic behavior of a two-sublattice spin-1 Ising model with a crystal-field interaction (D) in the presence of a time-varying magnetic field on a hexagonal lattice is studied by using the Glauber-type stochastic dynamics. The lattice is formed by alternate layers of spins σ=1 and S=1. For this spin arrangement, any spin at one lattice site has two nearest-neighbor spins on the same sublattice, and four on the other sublattice. The intersublattice interaction is antiferromagnetic. We employ the Glauber transition rates to construct the mean-field dynamical equations. Firstly, we study time variations of the average magnetizations in order to find the phases in the system, and the temperature dependence of the average magnetizations in a period, which is also called the dynamic magnetizations, to obtain the dynamic phase transition (DPT) points as well as to characterize the nature (continuous and discontinuous) of transitions. Then, the behavior of the total dynamic magnetization as a function of the temperature is investigated to find the types of the compensation behavior. Dynamic phase diagrams are calculated for both DPT points and dynamic compensation effect. Phase diagrams contain the paramagnetic (p) and antiferromagnetic (af) phases, the p+af and nm+p mixed phases, nm is the non-magnetic phase, and the compensation temperature or the L-type behavior that strongly depend on the interaction parameters. For D<2.835 and H0>3.8275, H0 is the magnetic field amplitude, the compensation effect does not appear in the system.  相似文献
