The total synthesis of the bicyclic C-nucleoside malayamycin A is described starting with d-ribonolactone. A new method was developed to obtain preparatively important quantities of β-pseudouridine, which was used as an intermediate. Previous enantioselective Pd0‐catalyzed C?H activation reactions proceeding via the concerted metalation‐deprotonation mechanism employed either a chiral ancillary ligand, a chiral base, or a bimolecular mixture thereof. This study describes the development of new chiral bifunctional ligands based on a binaphthyl scaffold which incorporates both a phosphine and a carboxylic acid moiety. The optimal ligand provided high yields and enantioselectivities for a desymmetrizing C(sp2)?H arylation leading to 5,6‐dihydrophenanthridines, whereas the corresponding monofunctional ligands showed low enantioselectivities. The bifunctional system proved applicable to a range of substituted dihydrophenanthridines, and allowed the parallel kinetic resolution of racemic substrates.  相似文献

This work demonstrates the potential application of stimulus responsive block copolymer micelles as triggerable delivery systems for use within multilayer films. Cationic, pH-responsive micelles of poly[2-(dimethylamino)ethyl methacrylate-block-poly(2-(diethylamino)ethyl methacrylate)] (PDMA-PDEA) were deposited on anionic polystyrene latex particles. The charge reversal of the surface and the amount of adsorbed polymer were monitored by zeta potential measurements and colloidal titrations, respectively. Prior to adsorption, the PDMA-PDEA micelles were loaded with a hydrophobic dye, and UV-vis spectroscopy was used to determine the amount of dye encapsulated within a monolayer of micelles. It was found that subtle chemical modification of the PDMA-PDEA diblock copolymer via permanent quaternization of the PDEA block results in micelles with tunable loading capacities. Multilayers of cationic micelles of partially quaternized PDMA-PDEA and anionic polyelectrolyte (poly(sodium 4-styrene sulfonate)) were deposited on the surface of polystyrene latex particles by sequential adsorption. UV-vis analysis of the dye present within the multilayer after the addition of each layer demonstrates that the micelles are sufficiently robust to retain encapsulated dye after multiple adsorption/washing cycles and can thus create a film that can be increasingly loaded with dye as more micelle layers are adsorbed. Multiple washing cycles were performed on micellar monolayers of PDMA-PDEA to demonstrate how such systems can be used to bring about triggerable release of actives. When performing several consecutive washing steps at pH 9.3, the micelle structure of the PDMA-PDEA micelles in the monolayer is retained, resulting in only a small reduction in the amount of encapsulated dye. In contrast, washing at pH 4, the structure of the micelle layers is severely disrupted, resulting in a fast release of the encapsulated dye into the bulk. Finally, if a sufficient number of micelle/homopolyelectrolyte layers are adsorbed, it is possible to selectively dissolve the latex template, resulting in hollow capsules.  相似文献

A series of D3 (Fe(II), Ru(II), Zn(II), Hg(II)) and D2d (Cu(I), Ag(I), Zn(II)) octupolar metal complexes featuring different functionalized bipyridyl ligands has been synthesized, and their thermal, linear (absorption and emission), and nonlinear optical (NLO) properties were determined. Their quadratic NLO susceptibilities were determined by harmonic light scattering at 1.91 microm, and the molecular hyperpolarizability (beta0) values are in the range of 200-657 x 10(-30) esu for octahedral complexes and 70-157 x 10(-30) esu for tetrahedral complexes. The octahedral zinc(II) complex 1 e, which contains a 4,4'-oligophenylenevinylene-functionalized 2,2'-bipyridine, exhibits the highest quadratic hyperpolarizability ever reported for an octupolar derivative (lambdamax=482 nm, beta1.91(1 e)=870 x 10(-30) esu, beta0(1 e)=657 x 10(-30) esu). Herein, we demonstrate that the optical and nonlinear optical (NLO) properties are strongly influenced by the symmetry of the complexes, the nature of the ligands (donor endgroups and pi linkers), and the nature of the metallic centers. For example, the length of the pi-conjugated backbone, the Lewis acidity of the metal ion, and the increase of ligand-to-metal ratio result in a substantial enhancement of beta. The contribution of the metal-to-ligand (MLCT) transition to the molecular hyperpolarizability is also discussed with respect to octahedral d6 complexes (M=Fe, Ru).  相似文献

In this paper we deal with the isentropic (compressible) Navier-Stokes equation in one space dimension and we adress the problem of the boundary controllability for this system. We prove that we can drive initial conditions which are sufficiently close to some constant states to those constant states. Gold nanorods in aqueous solution are generally surrounded by surfactants or capping agents. This is crucial for anisotropic growth during synthesis and for their final stability in solution. When CTAB is used, a bilayer has been evidenced from analytical methods even though no direct morphological characterization of the precise thickness and compactness has been reported. The type of surfactant layer is also relevant to understand the marked difference in further self-assembling properties of gold nanorods as experienced using 16-EO(1)-16 gemini surfactant instead of CTAB. To obtain a direct measure of the thickness of the surfactant layer on gold nanorods synthesized by the seeded growth method, we coupled TEM, SAXS, and SANS experiments for the two different cases, CTAB and gemini 16-EO(1)-16. Despite the strong residual signal from micelles in excess, it can be concluded that the thickness is imposed by the chain length of the surfactant and corresponds to a bilayer with partial interdigitation.  相似文献

A novel method for direct laser writing of two-dimensional cadmium sulfide (CdS) semiconductor nanoparticle microstructures is reported. A two photon or a higher-order multiphoton absorption process, originating from femtosecond laser pulses, was used to decompose CdS precursors dispersed in a zirconia thin film previously dip-coated on a glass substrate. The kinetics of nanoparticle formation as a function of laser power were monitored in situ by photoluminescence spectroscopy. Raman spectroscopy was also performed to characterize the structural changes of the zirconia matrix under irradiation and to verify the formation of CdS nanoparticles. Results show that CdS nanoparticles were formed by two-photon absorption (TPA) with or without the help of an additional carbazole photoinitiator.  相似文献

The asymmetric synthesis of a series of 2-(1-aminoalkyl) piperidines using (-)-2-cyano-6-phenyloxazolopiperidine 1 is described. LiAlH(4) reduction of 1 followed by hydrogenolysis led to the diamine 3. The same strategy applied to C-2-methylated compound 7 afforded [(2S)-2-methylpiperidin-2-yl]methanamine (9). Addition of lithium derivatives to the cyano group of 1 resulted in the formation of an intermediate imino bicyclic system (11a-c) which could be diastereoselectively reduced to substituted diamino alcohols 13a-c. The addition of an excess of PhLi to 1 in the presence of LiBr furnished disubstituted amine 19, the precursor of diphenyl[(2S)-piperidin-2-yl]methanamine (22).  相似文献
