The Bose-Einstein interference effect is studied using 7333 events of ¯pp-interactions withn ch6 at 22·4 GeV/c. An essential dependence of the strength of this effect on the pion pair velocity is observed. An indication is obtained that processes with essentially different time characteristics (<1 fm and >2 fm) contribute to ¯pp-interactions at 22·4 GeV/c. The interpretation based on abundant resonance production in high energy collisions is discussed.Dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research.  相似文献

One specific example with the parameters close to the existing coaxial cavity gyrotron at the Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe (FZK) is analyzed in detail. Mode competition calculations are performed using the time dependent and self-consistent codes developed both at the FZK and the Institute of Applied Physics (IAP). The results are compared with the calculations performed earlier by one of the authors in the cold cavity approximation. Significant qualitative differences are found and the conclusion is drawn that it is absolutely necessary to use the self-consistent approach in analyzing advanced operation regimes of a gyrotron  相似文献

A self—consistent calculation of the self—modulation instability in gyrotrons operating in whispering gallery modes is carried out in the cold cavity approximation for satellite modes. A review is given of the present state of experimental and theoretical knowledge of the proton-proton and antiproton-proton forward scattering, with special attention to applications of phenomenological dispersion theory in elucidating this interaction. The topics covered include the treatment of unphysical region, low-energy parameterizations, dispersion relation calculations of the real parts and the meson-nucleon coupling constants, analyses of the data by recently developed numerical analytic continuation techniques, high-energy phenomenology, and evaluation of sum rules.  相似文献
