A theoretical investigation is described on coherence effects in a light-sound interaction. The mutual coherence function can be modulated in time and space by electronic means using a simple travelling sound wave. The modulation factor is expressed in terms of the zeroth-order Bessel function whose argument is a function of the two-point separation of interest and the time delay between the two light waves to be correlated. The spectral characteristics obtained from the space-time Fourier transform of the mutual coherence function coincides with an earlier statement in the Raman-Nath theory.  相似文献

Speckle patterns produced by coherent light from a GaA1As double-hetero-structure laser diode that has been transmitted through a multi-mode optical fiber are experimentally studied by analyzing the average contrast. It has been found that the speckle contrast observed in the far-field region is significantly lowered when the spectral width of a laser diode is as broad as a few tens of Angstroms.  相似文献

The polypyrrole coating was prepared from phosphoric acid aqueous solution containing the hetero-polyanion and pyrrole monomer to make new coating for corrosion prevention of carbon steels. The coating thus formed in the phosphate acid solution was doped by and by . The coating was flexible enough to cover the steel homogeneously without cracks, although many cracks were observed on the coating formed in a neutral aqueous solution of Na2MoO2. The 5.1-μm-thick polypyrrole coating makes the steel maintain the passive state for 48 h in neutral 3.5 wt% NaCl solution at pH 5.3 and for 80 h in acidic 3.5 wt% NaCl solution at pH 1.9. The coating decreased the corrosion rate of the steel by 1/200 in the neutral NaCl solution and by 1/340 in the acidic NaCl solution, if compared with the rate of the bare steel. The dissolution current of the steel during the immersion remained at the level of the typical passive current in the respective solutions.  相似文献

A novel thermosetting imide compound having a respective phenylethynyl carbonyl group at both terminal ends was newly synthesized from an acid anhydride having a phenylethynyl carbonyl group and various diamine compounds. The thermosetting behavior of the obtained novel thermosetting imide compound having phenylethynyl carbonyl groups was analyzed through differential scanning calorimetry measurements and infrared spectroscopic analysis. As a result, it became clear that a curing reaction of phenylethynyl carbonyl groups proceeds at approximately 200°C and that the curing reaction thereof proceeds at a temperature that is lower by 150°C or more compared with that of phenylethynyl groups. Examination of the polymerization reaction of the imide compounds having phenylethynyl carbonyl groups using model compounds revealed that a reaction that imparted an alkene C=C and polycyclic aromatic structure progressed. Moreover, a network polymer obtained from a thermosetting imide compound having respective phenylethynyl carbonyl groups at both terminal ends exhibited extremely superior heat resistance and thermal decomposition resistance. These superior thermal properties are thought to be due to the strong molecular interaction (molecular packing) that results from the polycyclic aromatic structures and alkenes produced through polymerization of the phenylethynyl carbonyl groups and to the suppression of the movement of the molecular chains.  相似文献

A series of size‐controlled, cyclic poly(tetrahydrofuran)s ( of 4 400–8 600) that consist exclusively of the monomer, i.e., oxytetramethylene, unit ( I ) have been prepared in high yield through the metathesis polymer cyclization of a telechelic precursor having allyl groups, 1 , in the presence of a Grubbs catalyst, and the subsequent hydrogenation of the linking, i.e., 2‐butenoxy, unit in the presence of an Adams' catalyst (PtO2). A remarkable topology effect has subsequently been observed upon the isothermal crystallization of these two model polymers, showing distinctive spherulite growth rates and spherulite morphologies in comparison with the relevant linear poly(tetrahydrofuran) counterpart that has ethoxy end groups ( II ).

A wave-front-folded interferometer composed of a K?sters prism and an image-forming lens provides a good way of measuring the complex degree of spectral coherence. Demonstrative experiments are implemented by incorporation of uncorrelated two-point spectral sources in the primary-source plane; these sources establish a spatially partially coherent wave field over the secondary source plane just in front of the interferometer. The complex degree of spectral coherence of the secondary source is successfully measured after an a priori calibration is made for the interferometer that was constructed.  相似文献

Let X be a finite set of q elements, and n, K, d be integers. A subset CX n is an (n, K, d) error-correcting code, if #(C) = K and its minimum distance is d. We define an (n, K, d) error-correcting sequence over X as a periodic sequence {a i } i=0,1,... (a i X) with period K, such that the set of all consecutive n-tuples of this sequence form an (n, K, d) error-correcting code over X. Under a moderate conjecture on the existence of some type of primitive polynomials, we prove that there is a error correcting sequence, such that its code-set is the q-ary Hamming code with 0 removed, for q > 2 being a prime power. For the case q = 2, under a similar conjecture, we prove that there is a error-correcting sequence, such that its code-set supplemented with 0 is the subset of the binary Hamming code [2 m  − 1, 2 m  − 1 − m, 3] obtained by requiring one specified coordinate being 0. Dialkyl disulfide-linked naphthoquinone, (NQ-Cn-S)2, and anthraquinone, (AQ-Cn-S)2, derivatives with different spacer alkyl chains (Cn: n = 2, 6, 12) were synthesized and these quinone derivatives were self-assembled on a gold electrode. The formation of self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) of these derivatives on a gold electrode was confirmed by infrared reflection-absorption spectroscopy (IR-RAS). Electron transfer between the derivatives and the gold electrode was studied by cyclic voltammetry. On the cyclic voltammogram a reversible redox reaction between quinone (Q) and hydroquinone (QH2) was clearly observed under an aqueous condition. The formal potentials for NQ and AQ derivatives were −0.48 and −0.58 V, respectively, that did not depend on the spacer length. The oxidation and reduction peak currents were strongly dependent on the spacer alkyl chain length. The redox behavior of quinone derivatives depended on the pH condition of the buffer solution. The pH dependence was in agreement with a theoretical value of E1/2 (mV) = E′ − 59pH for 2H+/2e process in the pH range 3–11. In the range higher than pH 11, the value was estimated with E1/2 (mV) = E′ − 30pH , which may correspond to H+/2e process. The tunneling barrier coefficients (β) for NQ and AQ SAMs were determined to be 0.12 and 0.73 per methylene group (CH2), respectively. Comparison of the structures and the alkyl chain length of quinones derivatives on these electron transfers on the electrode is made.  相似文献

Abstract  

A EuIII cryptate complex constructed from a CuII cryptand with an L tBu ligand, [EuIIICu2II(L tBu)2(NO3)3(MeOH)], and the corresponding CaII and NaI cryptates, [CaIICu2II(L tBu)2(NO3)2(MeOH)2] and [NaICu2II(L tBu)2(Me2CO)](BPh4), have been synthesized and characterized in order to shed light on the essential role of CuII in the luminescence of a EuIII cryptate. The unprecedented role of a CuII cryptand makes it possible to produce lanthanide luminescence in a EuIII cryptate complex and is successfully elucidated by comparison with the corresponding CaII and NaI cryptates.  相似文献

6-N-[2-(Tetradecyl)hexadecanamido]hexyl beta-D-glucopyranosyluronic acid-(1-->6)-beta-D-galactopyranosyl-(1-->6)-beta-D-galactopyranoside (1) and its clustering compound (2) carrying a tetravalent sugar unit, which are new model compounds related to a major antigenic epitope from antiulcer pectic polysaccharide of Bupleurum falcatum L., were synthesized and the distributions of 1 and 2 in mixed ganglioside (GM1, GD1a or GT1b)/phospholipid (DPPC) monolayers were observed using atomic force microscopy (AFM). AFM images showed that 1 was distributed in the GM1, GD1a and GT1b region of the mixed monolayers, in which 1 was miscible with GD1a. Specific distribution of 1 was observed in the mixed GM1/DPPC monolayer. Compound 2 was miscible with GM1, while 2 formed associations with GD1a and GT1b in the mixed monolayers. The distribution mode of 1 and 2 was different among the mixed ganglioside/DPPC monolayers.  相似文献
