states of O2, as given by the conventional ASMO method, is too large. In order to resolve this difficulty, removal of the equivalence restrictions usually employed in the orbital theory is proposed. Thus the orbital exponent of one antibonding g MO is allowed to take a different value from the other g's. Variational calculations show that the resulting outermost orbital is much more diffuse than the others. This model of a single diffuse orbital brings about a considerable energy lowering for the 3

state and thus the agreement of the 3

interval with experiment is improved.
Zusammenfassung Die konventionelle ASMO-Theorie liefert bekanntlich eine viel zu große Differenz der Terme 3 u – und 3 u + von O2, weswegen der Vorschlag gemacht wird, die üblicherweise vorgenommene Äquivalenz-Einschränkung fallen zu lassen. Der Orbital-Exponent eines lockernden MO's kann von dem der übrigen g's abweichen. Rechnungen zeigen, daß das äußerste MO viel diffuser als die anderen ist und daß die Energie des 3 u – -Zustandes beträchtlich erniedrigt wird.
Résumé La séparation entre les états 3 u – 3 u + de O2 donnée par la méthode ASMO conventionnelle est connue pour être trop grande. Afin de résoudre cette difficulté la levée des restrictions d'équivalence ordinairement utilisées est proposée. Ainsi l'exposant orbital d'une des orbitales moléculaires antiliantes g peut prendre une valeur différente de celui de l'autre orbitale antiliante g. Des calculs variationnels montrent que l'orbitale la plus haute ainsi obtenue est beaucoup plus diffuse que les autres. AbstractL-Ascorbic acid (AA), known as vitamin C, can form browning products by a non-enzymatic process during storage and the browning products cause deterioration of agricultural products. In the browning reaction, a red pigment, 2,2´-nitrilodi-2(2´)-deoxy-L-ascorbic acid ammonium salt (NDA), is generated from AA via L-scorbamic acid (SCA) as an intermediate. However, the biological activities of SCA and NDA have not yet been clarified. In this study, we assayed the antioxidant activities of SCA and NDA using ABTS radical cation and their neurite outgrowth-enhancing activities in PC12 cells. SCA showed stronger radical-scavenging activity than that of AA, while NDA hardly showed any activity. SCA and NDA enhanced the neurite outgrowth induced by dibutyryl cyclic AMP after their incorporation into cells in the same manner as that of AA. The results indicated that SCA has antioxidant activity and that SCA and NDA have neurite outgrowth-enhancing activity. 相似文献

4-Monodeuterated NAD(P)H model compounds (1,4,6,7-tetrahydro-1,6,11-trimethyl-5-oxo-5H-benzo[c]pyrido[2,3-e]az epin; 11Me-MMPAH) have been oxidized with a series of p-benzoquinone and its derivatives in the presence of Mg2+. The models have an axial chirality with respect to the orientation of carbonyl dipole, the dihedral angle of which is larger than 55 degrees out of the plane of dihydropyridine ring. Without Mg2+, the anti- (with respect to the carbonyl dipole) hydrogen is 3 to 32 times more reactive than the corresponding syn-hydrogen, whereas, when Mg2+ is present in the system, the selectivity is shifted toward the syn-preferency. Mg2+ plays the role of a Lewis acid catalyst to control the stereochemistry at the same time as it catalyzes the reaction. 相似文献

A practical asymmetric synthesis of a wide-spectrum agricultural fungicide, (S)-MA20565 (1), is described. The convergent synthesis was achieved starting from commercially available 3-(trifluoromethyl)aniline (7) in 44% overall yield through five steps and 2-bromobenzaldehyde (9) in 48% overall yield through four steps, respectively. (S)-O-[1-(3-Trifluoromethylphenyl)ethyl]hydroxylamine (2), a key intermediate of 1, was prepared via ruthenium(II)-catalyzed asymmetric transfer hydrogenation of 1-(3-trifluoromethylphenyl)ethanone (6) followed by chlorination using methanesulfonyl chloride and oxyamination using potassium acetohydroxamate with high level of stereocontrol. 相似文献

Calculations are reported for the symmetric bending and stretching vibrational states of H3O+ and D3O+ including coupling between these two modes. The calculations were carried out by using a potential surface calculated by the SCF CI method and expressed in terms of symmetric internal coordinates. The transition energy of the ν2 (1? ← 0+) inversion mode is found to be 985 cm?1, which is comparable to the experimental value of 954.417 cm?1 observed by Haese and Oka. A series of 1-(6,7-dimethoxy-4-quinazolinyl)piperidines carrying various 5-membered heterocycles at the 4-position was synthesized and examined for cardiotonic activity in anesthesized dogs. The (4-oxo-2-thioxo-3-imidazolindinyl)amino derivatives showed the most potent inotropic activity. Marked loss of activity was observed in the 2,4-dihydro-3-thioxo-3H-1,2,4-triazolyl, the 2,4-dihydro-3-oxo-3H-pyrazolyl and the (2,3-dihydro-2-thioxo-3H-1,3,4-thiadiazol-5-yl)amino derivatives.
