The inhibitive effects of 1-(2H)-phthalazinone (PTO) for aluminum alloy (2024) corrosion in 1.0 M HCl solution and the synergistic effect of KI on the corrosion inhibition efficiency were assessed using electrochemical measurements. Results showed that the inhibition efficiency increased with an increase in concentration of the PTO and synergistically increased with addition of KI. Adsorption characteristic of PTO molecules in absence and presence of KI was approximated by Freundlich and Langmuir adsorption isotherm models, respectively. The synergistic effect is found to decrease with increase in the concentration of PTO and a competitive inhibition mechanism exists between KI and PTO cations. 相似文献

The growth of Cu2O nanoparticles on silk fibers was achieved under ultrasound irradiation. The effect of temperature, reaction time, ultrasound irradiation and solvent in growth of the Cu2O nanoparticles upon fiber has been studied. These systems depicted a decrease in the size accompanying a decrease in the reaction time. Particle sizes and morphology of nanoparticle depend on power of ultrasound irradiation. Results show that in presence of ultrasound radiation, particle sizes are in a very low range. The susceptibility of the microorganisms to Cu2O upon fiber was determined by minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) using micro dilution method and disk diffusion method. Results suggest that the Cu2O nanoparticles on silk fibers have antibacterial activity. The Cu2O nanoparticles upon fibers were characterized with X-ray powder diffraction (XRPD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). This article analyzes the fleet management problem faced by a firm when deciding which vehicles to add to its fleet. Such a decision depends not only on the expected mileage and tasks to be assigned to the vehicle but also on the evolution of fuel and CO2 emission prices and on fuel efficiency. This article contributes to the literature on fleet replacement and sustainable operations by proposing a general decision support system for the fleet replacement problem using stochastic programming and conditional value at risk (CVaR) to account for uncertainty in the decision process. We developed a direct mapping approach to overlay the image of a polycrystalline perovskite film obtained from the transient absorption microscope (TAM) with that from the scanning electron microscope (SEM). By mapping these imaging data pixel by pixel, we are able to observe the relaxation dynamics of the photo-generated charge carriers on varied regions of the film. The carrier relaxation dynamics contain a dominated single-exponential decay component owing to the recombination of charge carriers. The lifetime distribution of charge recombination shows a bimodal feature, for which the rapid and slow distributions are assigned as free and trapped carriers, respectively. The charge recombination was slower in the grain boundary (GB) region than in the grain interior (GI) region. The small grains have longer lifetimes than the large grains for the crystal size smaller than 500 nm. Therefore, GB with retarded charge recombination might play a positive role in a perovskite solar cell. 相似文献
