Dichloromethane extract of the stem bark of Rheedia acuminata yielded three benzophenones with antioxidant activity, the new one named acuminophenone A (1), guttiferone K (2) and isoxanthochymol (3), along with the known xanthones formoxanthone C (4) and macluraxanthone (5). The structures were established through interpretation of their spectroscopic data, the stereochemistry of compounds (1) and (2) were resolved by experimental and computational experiments and their antioxidant activities were measured using the DPPH, ABTS and TEAC assays. The antioxidant results showed that metabolites 1, 4 and 5 had a better antioxidant activity than the reference compound quercetin. In addition, we evaluate the mutagenicity and antimutagenicity of the CH2Cl2 extract as well as of the free radical scavenger compounds 1, 4 and 5 by the AMES Salmonella/microsomal test. No mutagenicity was found in the CH2Cl2 extract using Salmonella typhimurium strains TA98, TA100, TA102, TA1537 and TA1538, with or without S9 metabolic activation. The pure compounds neither showed mutagenicity in TA 102 strain and the most important result was the strong reduction of mutagenic effect induced by hydrogen peroxide in S. typhimurium TA102, with or without S9, showed by the compounds 1 (more than 93%) and 4 (more than 88%) at 0.02 microg/plate. 相似文献

We provide a detailed analysis of the dynamics of entanglement and quantum correlations for one-parameter qubit-qutrit states under independent or common classical noises influence. Namely the static noise, the Ornstein-Uhlenbeck (OU) noise and the random telegraph noise. Independently of the intrinsic features of the noises, entanglement measured by negativity and quantum correlations measured by measured-induced disturbance (MID) vanish after a finite time under the effects of independent noise environments. In a common environment setup, we show the existence of specific and very important features of perfect insulation of the systems quantum properties from noise effects, for suitable range of the entanglement parameter. We refer these phenomena to as frozen entanglement and frozen quantum correlations. The dichotomy between entanglement (separability) and quantum correlations is strengthened by our results, with the robustness of MID over entanglement and existence of separable qubit-qutrit states with non-zero quantum correlations. 相似文献

To improve our knowledge on protein targets of uranyl ion (UO22+), we set up a proteomic strategy based on immobilized metal-affinity chromatography (IMAC). The successful enrichment of UO22+-interacting proteins from human kidney-2 (HK-2) soluble cell extracts was obtained using an ion-exchange chromatography followed by a dedicated IMAC process previously described and designed for the uranyl ion. By mass spectrometry analysis we identified 64 proteins displaying varied functions. The use of a computational screening algorithm along with the particular ligand-based properties of the UO22+ ion allowed the analysis and categorization of the protein collection. This profitable approach demonstrated that most of these proteins fulfill criteria which could rationalize their binding to the UO22+-loaded phase. The obtained results enable us to focus on some targets for more in-depth studies and open new insights on its toxicity mechanisms at molecular level. 相似文献

Si nanowires (NWs), with diameters of about 800 nm and lengths of about 10 ??m, previously synthesized by the VLS method with gold catalyst, were carburized at 1,100 °C under methane for conversion into SiC nanostructures. These experiments have shown that Si NWs have been transformed into SiC nanotubes (NTs) with approximately the same sizes. Nanotubes?? sidewall thickness varies from 20 to 150 nm depending on the NTs?? height. These SiC nanotubes are hexagonal in shape and polycrystalline. A model of growth based on the out-diffusion of Si through the SiC layer was proposed to explain the transformation from Si nanowires to SiC nanotubes. This model was completed with thermodynamic calculations on the Si?CH2?CCH4?CO2 system and with results from complementary experiment using propane precursor. Routes for obtaining crystalline SiC NTs using this reaction are proposed. 相似文献

Human blood at physiological volume concentration exhibits non-Newtonian and thixotropic properties. The blood flow in the microcirculation is pulsatile, initiated from the heart pulse and can be considered as superposition of two partial flows: a) a steady shear, and b) an oscillatory shear. Until now steady and viscoelastic behavior were separately investigated. Here we present the response to the combination of steady and oscillatory shear for human blood, a high molecular weight aqueous polymer solution (polyacrylamide AP 273E) and an aqueous xanthan gum solution. The polyacrylamide and xanthan solutions are fluids that model the rheological properties of human blood. In general, parameters describing blood viscoelasticity became less pronounced as superimposed steady shear increased, especially at low shear region and by elasticity, associated with reduction in RBC aggregation. The response of polymer solutions to superposition shows qualitative similarities with blood by elasticity, but their quantitative response differed from that of blood. By viscosity another behavior was observed. Calcium stannate perovskite (CaSnO(3)) has been studied by Raman spectroscopy at two excitation wavelengths (514.5 and 632.8 nm). No phase transition was observed. Rather, the thermal evolution of the Raman lines showed a high degree of harmonicity with small Grüneisen parameters and thermal line broadening following Γ=Acothθ/T, where the quantum temperature θ is determined by the phonon branch without further coupling with other degrees of freedom. The geometrical nature of phonon lines has been identified. High-temperature powder x-ray diffraction measurements provide thermal expansion coefficients of α(x)=13.9 × 10(-6) K(-1), α(y)=2.7 × 10(-6) K(-1), α(z)=14.3 × 10(-6) K(-1). The strongly quasi-harmonic behaviour observed and the lack of any indication of instability with respect to the post-perovskite structure points to the strongly first-order character of the reported perovskite to post-perovskite phase transition in this material, which appears to behave as a very good analogue to MgSiO(3) in the Earth's interior. 相似文献

On the structure and chemistry of complex oxide nanofeatures in nanostructured ferritic alloy U14YWT

The remarkable radiation damage resistance of nanostructured ferritic alloys (NFAs) is attributed to the large numbers of matrix nanofeatures (NFs) of various types, which can enhance the recombination of displacement defects and trap transmutant helium in fine scale bubbles. Characterizing the chemistry, crystallographic structure and orientation relationships of the NFs is critical to understanding how they enhance the radiation damage resistance of NFAs. Conventional and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy and energy-dispersive spectroscopy were used to characterize the various types of NF and larger oxide phases in a model 14Cr–3?W–0.4Ti–0.25Y2O3 NFA (14YWT) hot isostatic pressed (HIP-ed) at 1150°C. Large CrTiO3 precipitates (50–300?nm) and small diffracting NFs (<5?nm) were found in this alloy. One major new result is the observation of an additional type of nanofeature (10–50?nm), orthorhombic in structure, with a square center cross-section, which constitutes a new kind of Y–Ti-oxide phase with lattice parameters different from those of known Y and Ti complex oxides. The interfaces of these particles seem to be semicoherent, while manifesting a possible orientation relationship with the BCC matrix. The ratio of Y to Ti varies between <1 and 2 for these larger NFs. 相似文献

X-ray diffraction experiments have been combined with Raman scattering and transmission electron microscopy data to analyze the result of rapid thermal annealing (RTA) applied to Zr films, 16 or 80 nm thick, sputtered on Si1−xGex epilayers (0≤x≤1). The C49 Zr(Si1−xGex)2 is the unique phase obtained after complete reaction. ZrSi1−xGex is formed as an intermediate phase. The C49 formation temperature Tf is lowered by the addition of Ge in the structure. Above a critical Ge composition close to x=0.33, a film microstructure change was observed. Films annealed at temperatures close to Tf are continuous and relaxed. Annealing at T>Tf leads to discontinuous films: surface roughening resulting from SiGe diffusion at film grain boundaries occurred. Grains are ultimately partially embedded in a SiGe matrix. A reduction in the lattice parameters as well as a shift of Raman lines are observed as T exceeds Tf. Both Ge non-stoichiometry and residual stress have been considered as possible origins for these changes. However, as Ge segregation has never been detected, even by using very efficient techniques, it is thought that the changes originate merely from residual stress. The C49 grains are expected to be strained under the SiGe matrix effect and shift of the Raman lines would indicate the stress is compressive. Some simple evaluations of the stress values indicate that it varies between −0.3 and −3.5 GPa for 0≤x≤1 which corresponds to a strain in the range (−0.11, −1.15%). X-ray and Raman determinations are in good agreement. 相似文献
