Uniaxial magnetic-pulse compaction of nanosize powders is studied experimentally and theoretically. Experiments are carried out with powders based on aluminum oxide. The theoretical model of the process includes the consistent solution of equations describing the dynamics of the pulsed magnetic field as well as the dynamics of the mechanical system (movable parts of the press and the powder being compacted). The behavior of the powder is described using the phenomenological theory of a plastically compacted porous body. Direct comparison with experimental data makes it possible to determine all input parameters required for theoretical calculations. A wide range of pressing conditions is investigated and the effect of parameters such as the mass of the powder being compacted and the mass of the parts of the press being accelerated is analyzed. The conditions are determined for the most effective use of inertial properties of the press, which must result in high-density products of compacted powders.  相似文献

The spectra of the conductivity and dielectric constant of La1.87Sr0.13CuO4 cuprate have been directly measured in the frequency range of 0.3 to 1.2 THz (10–40 cm−1) and the temperature range of 5 to 300 K in the E | c polarization (the electric field vector of radiation is perpendicular to the copper-oxygen planes). Excitation has been observed in the superconducting phase, and its nature has been attributed to the transverse optical excitation of the condensate of Cooper pairs, which appears because Josephson junctions between CuO planes are modulated due to in-plane magnetic and charge stripes. Additional quasiparticle absorption of unknown origin has been detected at frequencies below ≈15 cm−1 at liquid helium temperatures.  相似文献

The effect of a system of ferromagnetic particles on the field-dependent critical current of a Josephson junction is experimentally studied for junctions of different geometries. For edge junctions, the effect of commensurability between the periodic magnetic field of the particles and the Josephson vortex lattice is observed. The effect manifests itself in additional maxima of the field-dependent critical current. For overlap junctions, giant (greater than sixfold) variations of the maximum critical current are observed depending on the magnetic state of the particles. The changes in the “Fraunhofer” pattern of the overlaped Josephson junctions are attributed to the formation of Abrikosov vortices due to the effect of uniformly magnetized particles. The effects revealed in the experiments can be used to analyze the inhomogeneous magnetic field of a system of submicron particles and to control the transport properties of Josephson junctions.  相似文献

The crystal structure and transport properties of epitaxial c-oriented YBa2Cu3O7−x films are investigated for high-T c layer thicknesses from 5 to 300 nm. The films were prepared by laser deposition. Films less than 30 nm thick become predominantly single-domain in the direction of the c axis. As the thickness decreases, the orthorhombicity parameter of the YBaCuO lattice decreases, which correlates with the critical temperature degradation observed in films less than 9 nm thick. The obtained thickness dependence of the effective microwave surface resistance of a YBaCuO film agrees well with the computational result obtained in the framework of local electrodynamics for samples with a constant microwave conductance. The correlation between the upper critical field H c2 and the residual resistivity ρ of the MgB2 compound is studied in a wide range of ρ values. The slope ?dH c2/dT of the temperature dependence of H c2 near T c is found to increase steadily with increasing residual resistivity to 100 μΩ cm. Over the range from 0 to 50 μΩ cm, the dependence of ?dH c2/dT on ρ is fitted well by a linear function, which is typical of a single-band superconductor. The fit is performed using the electronic parameters of the two bands (π and σ) that form the Fermi surface. The field H c2 is assumed to depend on the electronic parameters of the σ band only. Using this approximation, the following quantities are estimated: the relative contribution of σ electrons to the total conductivity along the boron planes (which turns out to be about 1/2), the ratio of the mean free paths of electrons in the σ and π bands l σ/l π ≈ 1.5, and the ratios between some other parameters describing electron scattering.  相似文献

The surface morphology and superconducting properties of YBaCuO epitaxial films prepared through magnetron sputtering from targets of different cation composition were systematically studied. It was shown that small changes in the growth conditions and relatively small variations in the cation composition of the condensate noticeably affect the surface morphology of the films and their structural and superconducting properties, thus offering an efficient way of controlling the YBCO film parameters. It was found that the 90° off-axis configuration of the magnetron sputtering system permits realization of growth conditions in which the grown films do not contain CuO precipitates and exhibit good superconducting properties (Tc≥88 K, jc(77 K)≥4×106 A/cm2).  相似文献

The structure and local properties of a nonlinear microwave response of YBa2Cu3O7?x block films, as well as microbridges of these films, are studied using low-temperature scanning microscopy. Correlation between the halfwidth of the temperature dependence of the third harmonic power W TH and the curve of the electron-beam induced voltage W EBIV is observed for the medium size of the block. A theoretical model is proposed, which demonstrates that the nonlinear microwave response for large blocks is determined by intrablock pinning of Abrikosov vortices; for blocks of smaller size, the response acquires an additional contribution associated with pinning of hypervortices on the Josephson network of the boundaries between the blocks.  相似文献
