Fluoroform (HCF3, HFC-23) is a side product in the manufacture of polytetrafluoroethylene (Teflon). Despite its attractive properties, taming HCF3 for trifluoromethylation is quite problematic owing to its low acidity and the lability of the naked trifluoromethyl carbanion generated from HCF3. Herein we report the organic-superbase-catalyzed trifluoromethylation of ketones and arylsulfonyl fluorides by HCF3. The reactions were carried out by using a newly developed “superbase organocatalyst system” consisting of catalytic amounts of P4-tBu and N(SiMe3)3. A series of aryl and alkyl ketones were converted into the corresponding α-trifluoromethyl carbinols in good yields under the organocatalysis conditions in THF. The superbase organocatalytic system can also be applied to the trifluoromethylation of arylsulfonyl fluorides for biologically important aryl triflones in THF or DMF in good yields. Protonated P4-tBu, H[P4-tBu]+, is suggested to be crucial for the catalytic process. This new catalytic methodology using HCF3 is expected to expand the range of synthetic applications of trifluoromethylation.  相似文献

The recently reported sensing characteristics of the mixed-potential-type yttria-stabilized zirconia (YSZ)-based hydrocarbon (HC) sensor attached with ZnCr2O4-sensing electrode (SE) were found to be changed after the 10-day operation at 550 °C under the wet condition (5 vol.% water vapor). To improve the stability of the present sensor, the several modifications of the SE material by adding YSZ powder were examined. As a result, the sensor using the laminated (ZnCr2O4/YSZ)-SE gave the stable electromotive force (emf) response against 100 ppm C3H6 at 550 °C for about one month examined. Based on the scanning electron microscopy (SEM) observation and the AC complex-impedance measurements, it was concluded that the stable behavior of the sensor using the laminated (ZnCr2O4/YSZ)-SE was provided by the stabilization of the interface between ZnCr2O4 grains and YSZ particles. The fabricated sensor exhibited the linear dependence of sensitivity on the logarithm of either C3H6 concentration (in the range of 20-800 ppm) or mixtures of various hydrocarbons (HCs) (in the range of 90-2600 ppmC). In addition, the emf response was not altered by the change of O2 (2-20 vol.%), H2O (0-10.8 vol.%) and CO2 (0-20 vol.%) concentrations, and no interference of other gases (CO, NO, NO2, H2, and CH4) was observed.  相似文献

We describe a graphene and single-walled carbon nanotube (SWCNT) composite film prepared by a blending process for use as electrodes in high energy density supercapacitors. Specific capacitances of 290.6 F g(-1) and 201.0 F g(-1) have been obtained for a single electrode in aqueous and organic electrolytes, respectively, using a more practical two-electrode testing system. In the organic electrolyte the energy density reached 62.8 Wh kg(-1) and the power density reached 58.5 kW kg(-1). The addition of single-walled carbon nanotubes raised the energy density by 23% and power density by 31% more than the graphene electrodes. The graphene/CNT electrodes exhibited an ultra-high energy density of 155.6 Wh kg(-1) in ionic liquid at room temperature. In addition, the specific capacitance increased by 29% after 1000 cycles in ionic liquid, indicating their excellent cyclicity. The SWCNTs acted as a conductive additive, spacer, and binder in the graphene/CNT supercapacitors. This work suggests that our graphene/CNT supercapacitors can be comparable to NiMH batteries in performance and are promising for applications in hybrid vehicles and electric vehicles.  相似文献

A silanization technique of hydrophobic quantum dots (QDs) was applied to SiO(2)-coated CdSe/Cd(x)Zn(1-x)S QDs to precisely control the SiO(2) shell thickness and retain the original high photoluminescence (PL) properties of the QDs. Hydrophobic CdSe/Cd(x)Zn(1-x)S core-shell QDs with PL peak wavelengths of 600 and 652 nm were prepared by a facile organic route by using oleic acid (OA) as a capping agent. The QDs were silanized by using partially hydrolyzed tetraethyl orthosilicate by replacing surface OA. These silanized QDs were subsequently encapsulated in a SiO(2) shell by a reverse micelles synthesis. The silanization plays an important role for the QDs to be coated with a homogeneous SiO(2) shell and retain a high PL efficiency in water. Transmission electron microscopy observation shows that the shells are 1-9 nm with final particle sizes of 10-25 nm, depending on the initial QD size. In the case of short reaction time (6 h), the QDs were coated with a very thin SiO(2) layer because no visible SiO(2) shell was observed but transferred into the water phase. The silica coating does not change the PL peak wavelength of the QDs. The full width at half-maximum of PL was decreased 4 nm after coating for QDs emitting at both 600 and 652 nm. The PL efficiency of the SiO(2)-coated is up to 40%, mainly determined by the initial PL efficiency of the underlying CdSe/Cd(x)Zn(1-x)S QDs.  相似文献

Three new lignans, longipedunins A (1), B (2) and C (3), together with three known compounds, benzoyl-binankadsurin A (4), acetyl-binankadsurin A (5) and schisanlactone A (6), were isolated from Kadsura longipedunculata. Their structures and stereochemistry were determined by spectral and single-crystal X-ray analyses. Compounds 1 and 6 showed appreciable inhibitory activity against HIV-1 protease with IC50 values of 50 and 20 microM, respectively.  相似文献

Mycelia of Antrodia cinnamomea were extracted with chloroform and hot water. A neutral polysaccharide named ACN2a separated from the water extract was purified using 10% CCl3COOH, and repeated column chromatography on HW-65 and DE-52 cellulose. Its structure was determined by chemical and spectroscopic analyses. ACN2a was composed of Gal, Glc, Fuc, Man and GalN (in the ratio 1:0.24:0.07:0.026:faint), in which an alpha-D-(1-->6)-Gal linkage accounted for 73% of all linkages. The ratio of branch points was about 16% of the total residual numbers, and branches were attached to C-2 of galactosyl residues of the main chain. ACN2a had an average molecular weight of 12.9x10(5) Daltons, [alpha]D25=+115 degrees (c=0.44, H2O); [eta]=0.0417dl.g-1, Cp=0.2663 cal/(g. degrees C). The hepatoprotective effect of ACN2a was evaluated using a mouse model of hepatic injury that was induced by Propionibacterium acnes (P. acnes) and lipopolysaccharide (LPS). The administration of ACN2a (0.4, 0.8 g/kg/d, p.o.), significantly prevented increases in serum aspartate aminotransferase (AST) and alanine aminotransferase (ALT) enzyme activities in mice treated with P. acnes-LPS, indicating hepatoprotective activity in vivo.  相似文献

Silver nanoclusters (Ag NCs) templated with DNAs have attracted much attention as novel fluorophores because of their convenient emission tunability by the sequence and length of the template DNAs. However, the precise production of Ag NCs in a site-specific manner still remains a challenge to attain highly selective and label-free DNA recognition. Here we exploited the availability of a gap site in DNA duplexes as a new scaffold for the synthesis of Ag NCs. Compared to the commonly used DNA templates for the creation of Ag NCs, the gap site in DNA duplexes was found to facilitate the rapid formation of the fluorescent Ag NCs without sacrifice of their bright emission and excellent stability. We found that fluorescent Ag NCs were highly selectively formed when cytosine faced toward the gap site in DNA duplexes, and they were in situ utilized as readout by signal-on manner for the DNA mutation assays. This base-selective growth of the fluorescent Ag NCs at the gap site would find promising applications in practical detection of single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) and construction of DNA-based functional sensors with label-free and cost-effective merits.  相似文献

Grafting of biocompatible polymer onto the surface of silica nanoparticles was achieved by radical graft polymerization of 2-methacryloyloxyethyl phosphorylcholine (MPC), initiated by azo groups previously introduced onto the surface or by a system consisting of Mo(CO)6 and trichloroacetyl groups on the silica surface. Both of these systems have the ability to initiate graft polymerization of MPC, resulting in the formation of poly(MPC)-grafted silica, but the percentage of poly(MPC) grafting for the latter initiating system was much higher than that of the former. The amount of moisture that could be adsorbed onto the silica surface was found to increase with increasing poly(MPC) grafting. This indicates that grafting of poly(MPC) onto the silica surface markedly increases the hydrophilic nature of the surface. The contact angle of water in composites prepared from poly(vinyl alcohol) and poly(MPC)-grafted silica was found to decrease with increasing poly(MPC)-grafted silica content. When poly(MPC)-grafted silica was added to water containing a small amount of chloroform, it was found to act as stabilizer for droplets of chloroform. In addition, according to tests by the Lee-White method, poly(MPC)-grafted silica shows non-thrombogenic characteristics.  相似文献
