Alkyl radicals generated by treatment of thiocarbamates of conformationally favorable 3-alkyl-3-arylpropan-1-ols with tris(trimethylsilyl)silane and AIBN efficiently undergo intramolecular ipso substitution of the methoxy group, yielding the corresponding cyclized products. In contrast, either conformationally favorable or flexible 1-arylalkan-3- or 4-ones easily cyclize into five- or six-membered condensed rings by treatment with SmI(2) via ketyl radical intermediates. The addition of HMPA as cosolvent dramatically changes the cyclization mode of the SmI(2)-induced reaction, and the para-cyclization products are exclusively formed. This "HMPA effect" can be rationalized by the strong chelating ability of HMPA with the samarium atom.  相似文献

Novel vibrational circular dichroism (VCD) studies in the CH region of a series of methyl glycosidic carbohydrates were examined. The specific CH stretching VCD band predicts absolute stereochemistries of their anomeric positions. The C-1 chiral information was extracted to the methoxy substituent as a probe. The concept of the vibrational chirality probe from a single chiral center in the presence of numerous such centers might be useful in determining the absolute configuration, when a multiplicity of chiral centers is present in a molecule such as a carbohydrate.  相似文献

A new method for regioselective carbomagnesation of alkenes and dienes has been developed by the use of a titanocene catalyst. This reaction proceeds efficiently at 0 degrees C in THF in the presence of Cp(2)TiCl(2) by the combined use of organic halides (R-X; R = alkyl, aryl and vinyl) and n-BuMgCl to afford benzyl, alpha-silylalkyl, or allyl Grignard reagents, which were trapped with various electrophiles. The present reaction involves (i) addition of carbon radicals toward alkenes or dienes in the carbon-carbon bond-forming step and (ii) transmetalation on Ti of benzyl-, alpha-silylalkyl-, or allyltitanocene with n-BuMgCl in the carbon-magnesium bond-forming step. The scope and limitations of this reaction have also been examined.  相似文献

A flexible and stereodivergent synthesis of the cis- and trans-fused 2,5-disubstituted octahydroquinolinone ring systems bearing all four stereogenic centers for the synthesis of the decahydroquinoline type of dendrobatid alkaloids has been achieved. The strategy involves stereoselective and stereodivergent construction of 2,3,6-trisubstituted piperidine ring systems using the Michael type of conjugate addition reaction to the enaminoesters 1 and 3, the intramolecular aldol type of cyclization reaction of keto aldehydes 11 and 12, and ring-closing metathesis of 21 as key steps.  相似文献

Visible reflection spectra of diprotonated meso-tetraphenylporphyrin adsorbates spontaneously formed at a dodecane-aqueous sulfuric acid interface have been measured using a home-made device comprising a prism-cell and variable-angle optics. The tilt angle of the pyrrole ring plane was estimated to be 47 degrees from the interface normal by use of an experimentally evaluated molecular density (1.20x10(-10) mol cm(-2)) of the diprotonated molecule in a monolayer form at the liquid-liquid interface. Positive and negative bands have been observed in the p-polarized partial internal reflection (p-PIR) spectra, whose band locations correspond to those in p-polarized external reflection (p-ER) spectra. Nevertheless, the bands in the p-PIR exhibited reversed sign to those of p-ER spectra. These suggest that the surface selection rule of the p-PIR spectrometry has a reversal rule of p-ER and p-PIR can also be used for the analysis of molecular orientation.  相似文献

The one-dimensional intermolecular ferromagnetic interaction of a charge-transfer (CT) complex, (BDTA)[Ni(mnt)2] (BDTA: 1,3,2-benzodithiazolyl, mnt: maleonitriledithiolate), is studied by the Kohn–Sham hybrid density functional method, in order to understand the mechanism of the magnetism. All possible effective exchange integrals, J, between the spin pairs of the system indicate that a ferromagnetic interaction (J = 172 cm−1) exists along the b-axis. Magnetic susceptibility, simulated with the ab initio determined J values by the quantum Monte Carlo (QMC) method, is qualitatively consistent with that measured experimentally.  相似文献

Some thieno[3,4-b]indolizine derivatives having a 1-naphthylmethylthio, 2-methyl-1-naphthylmethylthio, 2-naphthylmethylthio, or 9-anthrylmethylthio group at the 3-position were prepared and their intramolecular arene-arene interactions were investigated. In comparison with 3-(methylthio)thieno[3,4-b]indolizines which have no such interactions, the (1)H-NMR spectra of title compounds showed large high-field shifts (delta 0.06-0.89 ppm) for the protons of the pyridine ring in the thieno[3,4-b]indolizine, and these values were considerably larger than those (delta <0.3 ppm) in 3-(benzylthio)thieno[3,4-b]indolizines. The UV spectra also exhibited a characteristic absorption band near 425 nm attributable to the arene-arene interaction. In the X-ray analyses of some compounds, however, the presence of both the gauche and the anti conformers at the sulfide spacer were confirmed.  相似文献

N-tert-Butoxy-2,7-di-tert-butyl-1-pyrenylaminyl (4), N-tert-butoxy-2-tert-butyl-1-pyrenylaminyl (5), and N-tert-butoxy-7-tert-butyl-1-pyrenylaminyl (6) free radicals were generated by the reaction of the lithium amides of the corresponding 1-aminopyrenes with tert-butyl peroxybenzoate in THF at -78 degrees C. Although 6 could not be isolated due to the gradual decomposition in solution, 4 and 5 were quite persistent and could be isolated as monomeric radical crystals. The X-ray crystallographic analyses for the isolated free radicals were successfully carried out, indicating that the N and O atoms are almost coplanar with the pyrene ring. The ESR spectra of 4 and 5 were very complex due to the presence of many magnetically unequivalent protons. Therefore, the proton hyperfine coupling (hfc) constants were determined by (1)H ENDOR/TRIPLE resonance spectroscopy. To assign the hfc constants for the pyrene ring protons, a partially deuterated radical, 4-d(4), was prepared and the ENDOR and ESR spectra were measured. To discuss the spin density distribution for 4 and 5 ab initio molecular orbital calculations were performed by the DFT UBecke 3LYP method, using the STO 6-31G basis set. Magnetic susceptibility measurements were carried out for 4 and 5 with a SQUID magnetometer. For 4 a weak antiferromagnetic interaction was observed, and for 5 a very strong antiferromagnetic interaction was observed. The antiferromagnetic interactions were explained by their crystal structures.  相似文献

Magnetic field effects (MFEs) on photocatalytic degradation of methylene blue (MB) solution over ZnO and TiO2 powders are investigated under static magnetic field up to 0.7 T with light irradiation by ultraviolet (UV) light emitting diode. The UV–visible-near-infrared spectrometer is used to monitor the MB concentrations. The positive MFE is observed for ZnO, while the negative MFE for TiO2, and both MFEs are increased with the increase in the magnetic field applied. By increasing the settling time (the time interval between the preparation of MB solution and the powder dispersion into the MB solution), the photodegradation abilities under MFEs are decreased for both the catalysts. The cause of MFE is discussed in terms of dissolved oxygen in the MB solution and magnetic adsorption of the constituent molecules.  相似文献
