Perylene bisimide (PBI) is a fluorescent dye which has strong emission and high photostability. Although PBI has been widely used for industrial materials, the application of PBI in analytical fields was limited mainly due to its high hydrophobicity. In recent years, however, unique and useful analytical methods based on PBI platform are being successfully developed by utilizing the characteristic features of this compound including its high hydrophobicity. This paper describes buckling modes and stresses of elastic Kelvin open-cell foams subjected to [0 0 1], [0 1 1] and [1 1 1] uniaxial compressions. Cubic unit cells and cell aggregates in model foams are analyzed using a homogenization theory of the updated Lagrangian type. The analysis is performed on the assumption that the struts in foams have a non-uniform distribution of cross-sectional areas as observed experimentally. The relative density is changed to range from 0.005 to 0.05. It is thus found that long wavelength buckling and macroscopic instability primarily occur under [0 0 1] and [0 1 1] compressions, with only short wavelength buckling under [1 1 1] compression. The primary buckling stresses under the three compressions are fairly close to one another and almost satisfy the Gibson–Ashby relation established to fit experiments. By also performing the analysis based on the uniformity of strut cross-sectional areas, it is shown that the non-uniformity of cross-sectional areas is an important factor for the buckling behavior of open-cell foams. 相似文献

A dearomative reduction of simple arenes has been developed which employs a visible‐light‐mediated cycloaddition of arenes with an N‐N‐arenophile and in situ diimide reduction. Subsequent cycloreversion or fragmentation of the arenophile moiety affords 1,3‐cyclohexadienes or 1,4‐diaminocyclohex‐2‐enes, compounds that are not synthetically accessible using existing dearomatization reactions. In order to use a hydrophilic solvent as an organic phase in liquid-liquid extraction by retaining it to a solid support, the occlusion and desorption of nine hydrophilic solvents, such as methanol, to three kinds of commercially available oil-adsorbent were examined. The combination of tetrahydrofuran and WOSEP made by fibrous polypropylene was finally selected, and was subjected to the extraction of alkaline Earth metals with 8-quinolinol. It was proved that Mg2+, Ca2+, and Sr2+ ions could be successfully extracted into the tetrahydrofuran phase in the form of 8-quinolinolato complexes, which could not be extracted into CHCl3. 相似文献

Summary: We developed a new method for synthesizing an organic-soluble permethylated cyclodextrin-based insulated molecular wire (IMW); this method involves the polymerization of a symmetrical linked inclusion complex as a monomer. This monomer was synthesized by dimerization of linked inclusion complexes at the terminal alkynyl groups by Glaser coupling. Embedded silicon carbon alloy (e-Si:C) technology for source and drain (S/D) is expected to improve nMOSFET drive current. The distribution and activation characteristics of arsenic in Si:C film and the interfacial solid-phase reaction of the Ni/Si:C system were studied with the aim of achieving the maximum improvement of the characteristics of e-Si:C S/D. It was clarified that the active carrier concentration of Si:C decreased with increasing carbon concentration compared to the control Si. There is concern that the low doping activation in Si:C increases series resistance of e-Si:C S/D nMOSFETs and degrades the performance gain expected from the strain effect. 相似文献
