This paper reports an exploratory study of the aeroacoustics of a merging flow at a duct junction with the same width in all branches and different merging angles. The focus is put on the acoustic generation due to the flow unsteadiness. The study is carried out by the direct aeroacoustic simulation (DAS) approach, which solves the unsteady compressible Navier–Stokes equations and the perfect gas equation of state simultaneously using the conservation element and solution element (CE/SE) method. The Mach number based on the maximum inlet velocity of side branch is 0.1 and the Reynolds number of the flow based on duct width and this velocity is 2.3×105. The numerical simulations are performed in two dimensions and the aeroacoustics at different merging angles (30°, 45°, 60° and 90°) are studied. Both the levels of unsteady interactions of merging flow structures and the efficiency of the acoustic generation are observed to increase with the merging angles, where the increase in acoustic efficiency can be up to three orders of magnitude. The major acoustic source is found to be the fluctuating wall pressure induced by the flow unsteadiness in the downstream branch. A scaling law between the wall fluctuating force and the acoustic efficiency is also derived.  相似文献

In this work, we aim to develop cancer cell‐targeting AIE dots based on a polyyne‐bridged red‐emissive AIEgen, 2TPE‐4E, through the combination of metabolic engineering and bio‐orthogonal reactions. Azide groups on a tumor were efficiently produced by intravenous injection of Ac4ManNAz and glycol‐metabolic engineering. These bio‐orthogonal azide groups could facilitate the specific targeting of DBCO‐AIE dots to the tumor cells undergoing metal‐free click reaction in vivo. The efficiency of this targeting strategy could be further improved with the development of new bio‐orthogonal chemical groups with higher reactivity and a large amount of AIEgens could be delivered to the tumor for diagnosis.  相似文献

A method is presented to estimate the static error ?? in a multiple particle tracking microrheology experiment. This in situ estimate of ?? is measured under the same conditions of the material under test, and without any additional experiments. The correction of the mean-squared displacement by the in situ method is potentially more reliable than methods that rely on characterizing ?? in a separate gel sample. With the true mean-squared displacements accessible at short lag times, experimental artifacts introduced by static error can be distinguished from true rheological properties, even in highly viscous (>10,000 mPa?s) samples.  相似文献

This Letter is concerned with the robust state estimation problem for uncertain time-delay Markovian jumping genetic regulatory networks (GRNs) with SUM logic, where the uncertainties enter into both the network parameters and the mode transition rate. The nonlinear functions describing the feedback regulation are assumed to satisfy the sector-like conditions. The main purpose of the problem addressed is to design a linear estimator to approximate the true concentrations of the mRNA and protein through available measurement outputs. By resorting to the Lyapunov functional method and some stochastic analysis tools, it is shown that if a set of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) is feasible, the desired state estimator, that can ensure the estimation error dynamics to be globally robustly asymptotically stable in the mean square, exists. The obtained LMI conditions are dependent on both the lower and the upper bounds of the delays. An illustrative example is presented to demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed estimation schemes.  相似文献

CO2‐binding organic liquids (CO2BOLs) are mixtures of a base (typically an amidine or guanidine) and an alcohol, and have been shown to reversibly capture and release CO2 with low reaction energies and high gravimetric CO2 capacity. We now report the ability of such liquid blends to chemically bind and release other acid gases such as CS2, COS, and SO2 analogously to CO2. These systems bind with sulfur‐containing acid gases to form colored ionic liquids with new O‐alkylxanthate, O‐alkylthiocarbonyl, and O‐alkylsulfite anions. The capture and thermal stripping of each acid gas from these systems and their applicability towards flue gas desulfurization is discussed.  相似文献

Assay of angiotensin I-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitory activity always draws much attention because of diverse applications in the field of antihypertension and related pathogenesis. Recently, the use of a new synthetic substrate, 3-hydroxybutyrylglycyl-glycyl-glycine (3HB-GGG), for the assay of ACE inhibitory activity has been confirmed. To construct a rapid, economical, and automatic determination system of ACE inhibitory activity using 3HB-GGG, a flow injection analysis (FIA) system with enzymatic reactors was developed in this study. Enzyme reactors were composed of aminoacylase and 3-hydroxybutyrate dehydrogenase immobilized separately on CNBr-activated Sepharose 4B. The assay condition was optimized in terms of the conversion of 3HB-G into NADH by the enzymatic reactors when the reaction solution containing 3HB-G generated from 3HB-GGG (after the incubation with ACE) was repetitively injected into the FIA system. Under the optimized conditions, 3HB-G was converted to 3HB, and then 3HB was oxidized by NAD+ to form NADH. The developed system successfully detected practical ACE inhibitors with a great sensitivity, high sampling frequency (10 samples h−1) and a durable stability of the enzymatic reactors.  相似文献

The physical properties of a fat are determined by its thermal history, processing conditions, chemical composition, polymorphism and spatial distribution of mass. The mass fractal dimension of a fat crystal network can be determined from the slope of the log–log plot of the storage modulus (G′) versus the solid fat content (SFC). Different SFCs were obtained by melting the fat, diluting it to different extents in liquid oil, and crystallizing the blends under specific conditions. One of the major drawbacks of this method is the inability of characterizing the native structure of an already crystallized fat. In the thermo-mechanical method developed in this study, SFC is changed via temperature variations instead. At each temperature, the G′ and SFC were measured and the fractal dimension calculated as described above. The thermomechanical method proved to be a simpler and more reliable estimator of the fractal dimension of a fat crystal network than the dilution method.  相似文献

The detection performance of a towed hydrophone array for deep-diving species is quantified by comparing detections of echolocation clicks from foraging groups of Blainville’s beaked whales (Mesoplodon densirostris) from the TNO Delphinus array to detections from bottom-mounted hydrophones at the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) in the Bahamas. A beaked whale group detection probability of 40% is obtained at close ranges (< 2000 m) with the Delphinus towed array, and a maximum detection range of 5000 m is measured. The detection function can be explained by models, when taking into account the range in rms source levels (200-220 dB re 1 μPa2 m2), and the high system noise levels during the experiment. The model results suggest that detection ranges up to about 7 km are possible under favourable conditions, and demonstrate the effectiveness of using towed arrays to monitor deep-diving species, such as beaked whales.  相似文献

In this study, a non-Fourier heat conduction problem formulated using the Cattaneo–Vernotte (C–V) model with non-homogeneous boundary conditions is solved with the superposition principle in conjunction with solution structure theorems. It is well known that the aforementioned analytical method is not suitable for such a class of thermal problems. However, by performing a functional transformation, the original non-homogeneous partial differential equation governing the physical problem can be cast into a new form such that it consists of a homogeneous part and an additional auxiliary function. As a result, the modified homogeneous governing equation can then be solved with solution structure theorems for temperatures inside a finite planar medium. The methodology provides a convenient, accurate, and efficient solution to the C–V heat conduction equation with non-homogeneous boundary conditions.  相似文献
