The pump energy distribution in a diode side-pumped solid-state laser, is an overlap of propagating Gaussian beams. A simple model has been developed to calculate the thermal focal length of a diode side-pumped solid-state laser, which is based on a thermal model with a Gaussian heat density in any cross section of a laser rod. It can be seen that as the waists of pump beams increase, the energy distribution tends to be uniform and the thermal focal length tends to be long, which means a smaller thermal focusing.  相似文献

Mn-doped cuprous oxide Cu2?xMnxO (CMO), where x = 0.03, is a p-type diluted magnetic semiconductor (DMS) with Curie temperature above room temperature [M. Wei, N. Braddon, et al., Appl. Phys. Lett. 86 (2005) 0725141; Y.L. Liu, S. Harrington, et al., Appl. Phys. Lett. 87 (2005) 222108]. We have grown CMO (x = 0.03) thin films of about 200 nm thick on n-type semiconducting (0 0 1)Nb–SrTiO3(NSTO) single crystal substrates by pulsed laser deposition. Cubic crystalline phases of CMO layers were obtained in a narrow deposition pressure window of about 20 mTorr at growth temperature of 650 °C. X-ray diffraction and TEM studies of these heterostructures reveal a cube-on-cube epitaxial relationship of [CMO]001/[NSTO]001. All the oxide p–n junctions with the size of 500 × 500 μm were fabricated by the shadow masking technique. These junctions show highly asymmetric IV characteristics. The rectification ratio at room temperature is about 103 at ±2 V. Leakage current density of 10?4 A cm?2 at ?1 V is observed. No apparent junction breakdown is recorded at reverse bias voltages down to ?5 V. From the 1/C2V plots, the forward bias turn on voltage is ~1.4 V. Clear junction current rectifying property is maintained at up to 200 °C. Our results have demonstrated that epitaxial CMO films can be fabricated on lattice matched cubic substrates. They are suitable DMS for above room temperature spintronic junction applications.  相似文献

This paper presents a new higher‐order bounded scheme, weighted‐average coefficient ensuring boundedness (WACEB), for approximating the convective fluxes in solving transport equations with the finite volume difference method (FVDM). The weighted‐average formulation is used for interpolating the variables at cell faces and the weighted‐average coefficient is determined from normalized variable formulation and total variation diminishing (TVD) constraints to ensure the boundedness of solution. The new scheme is tested by solving three problems: (1) a pure convection of a box‐shaped step profile in an oblique velocity field, (2) a sudden expansion of an oblique velocity field in a cavity, and (3) a laminar flow over a fence. The results obtained by the present WACEB are compared with the UPWIND and the QUICK schemes and it is shown that this scheme has at least second‐order accuracy, while ensuring boundedness of solutions. Moreover, it is demonstrated that this scheme produces results that better agree with the experimental data in comparison with other schemes. Copyright © 2000 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

The design and synthesis of novel charge (hole‐ or electron‐) transport materials have been the focus of much research in recent years because of their wide variety of applications. In this study, three high molecular weight poly(arylene ether)s, 6a–c, containing naphthyl‐substituted benzidine moieties have been synthesized from carbamates derived from bisphenols. After masking with n‐propyl isocyanate, the carbamate is stable, can be readily purified by recrystallization from toluene, and can be polymerized directly with difluoro compounds under mild conditions. The resulting polymers possess high glass‐transition temperatures, excellent thermal stability, and good film‐forming properties. In comparison, the poly(arylene ether)s 6a′–c′, synthesized from unprotected bisphenol, have lower molecular weights and wider polydispersity and contain some brown impurities. Preliminary experiments show that both 6a and 6a′ can function well as hole‐transport materials in light‐emitting diodes. © 2000 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. In this work, we aim to develop cancer cell‐targeting AIE dots based on a polyyne‐bridged red‐emissive AIEgen, 2TPE‐4E, through the combination of metabolic engineering and bio‐orthogonal reactions. Azide groups on a tumor were efficiently produced by intravenous injection of Ac4ManNAz and glycol‐metabolic engineering. These bio‐orthogonal azide groups could facilitate the specific targeting of DBCO‐AIE dots to the tumor cells undergoing metal‐free click reaction in vivo. The efficiency of this targeting strategy could be further improved with the development of new bio‐orthogonal chemical groups with higher reactivity and a large amount of AIEgens could be delivered to the tumor for diagnosis.  相似文献

A method is presented to estimate the static error ?? in a multiple particle tracking microrheology experiment. This in situ estimate of ?? is measured under the same conditions of the material under test, and without any additional experiments. The correction of the mean-squared displacement by the in situ method is potentially more reliable than methods that rely on characterizing ?? in a separate gel sample. With the true mean-squared displacements accessible at short lag times, experimental artifacts introduced by static error can be distinguished from true rheological properties, even in highly viscous (>10,000 mPa?s) samples.  相似文献

We experimentally presented the electromagnetic behavior of transformative magnetic metamaterials: from the early invented split-ring resonator to its improvement, the cut-wire pair, for providing a negative magnetic permeability. By adding the continuous wire to cut-wire pair structure, the left-handed (LH) transmission made by doubly negative permittivity and permeability was demonstrated in combined structure. Interestingly, until the width of cut-wire pair increases to be physically merged with the adjacent continuous wire, in other words, to form the so-called fishnet structure, the LH behavior is still observed. This result indicates that in a broad sense, the essence of the electromagnetic response in the fishnet structure is similar to that in a combined structure. Our experimental results show a good agreement with previous theoretical study.  相似文献

This Letter is concerned with the robust state estimation problem for uncertain time-delay Markovian jumping genetic regulatory networks (GRNs) with SUM logic, where the uncertainties enter into both the network parameters and the mode transition rate. The nonlinear functions describing the feedback regulation are assumed to satisfy the sector-like conditions. The main purpose of the problem addressed is to design a linear estimator to approximate the true concentrations of the mRNA and protein through available measurement outputs. By resorting to the Lyapunov functional method and some stochastic analysis tools, it is shown that if a set of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) is feasible, the desired state estimator, that can ensure the estimation error dynamics to be globally robustly asymptotically stable in the mean square, exists. The obtained LMI conditions are dependent on both the lower and the upper bounds of the delays. An illustrative example is presented to demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed estimation schemes.  相似文献
