Ag2S‐graphene/TiO2 composites were synthesized by a facile sonochemical method.The products were characterized by X‐ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy,energy dispersive X‐ray spectroscopy,transmission electron microscopy,and UV‐Vis diffuse reflectance spectrophotometry.During the synthesis reaction,the reduction of graphene oxide and loading of Ag2S and TiO2 particles were achieved.The Ag2S‐graphene/TiO2 composites possessed a large adsorption capacity for dyes,an extended light absorption range,and efficient charge separation properties.Hence,in the photodegradation of rhodamine B,a significant enhancement in the reaction rate was observed with the Ag2S‐graphene/TiO2 composites as compared to pure TiO2.The generation of reactive oxygen species was detected by the oxidation of 1,5‐diphenyl carbazide to 1,5‐diphenyl carbazone.The high activity was attributed to the synergetic effects of high charge mobility and the red shift in the absorption edge of the Ag2S‐graphene/TiO2 composites.  相似文献

Recent development in dispersion science and technology demands block copolymers with a variable block length and composition. To highlight that purpose, the surface active, associative, colloidal, and thermodynamic behavior of three diblock copolymers having different hydrophilic to hydrophobic ratio is reported here. Using surface tension and light scattering measurements, the micellization and adsorption behavior of polyoxyethylene and polyoxybutylene diblock copolymers of the type EmBn have been analyzed. Critical micelle concentration (CMC) and related thermodynamic parameters like free energy (ΔGmic), enthalpy (ΔHmic), and entropy (ΔSmic) of micellization were calculated from CMC value using the closed association model. Likewise, the surface active parameters, like surface excess concentration (Γ2), area per molecule (A2), and thermodynamic parameters such as free energy (ΔGads), enthalpy (ΔHads), and entropy (ΔSads) of adsorption of polymer at the air/water interface, were also calculated at various temperatures. Static and dynamic light scattering techniques were employed for the determination of the weight-average molar (Mw), association number (Nw), polymer–water interaction (A2), and micellar size in terms of hydrodynamic radii (Rh) of copolymer micelles. The effect of block length and solution temperature on the surface and micellar properties of these copolymers was also investigated.  相似文献

Melamine‐formaldehyde (MF) resins of improved environmental compatibility were synthesized at different molar ratios, temperature and pH. Five molar ratios of melamine and formaldehyde: 35:65, 36.5:63.5, 38.3:61.7, 41.1:58.9 and 42.4:58.6 were used to synthesize the corresponding resins. The prepared samples were characterized by using molecular weight determination viscometery, field emission scanning electron microscopy and thermogravimetric analysis. It was noticed that the solid content in the resin increases with an increase in pH. The maximum percentage of the solid content (51 %) was obtained for pH of 8.5 and temperature range of 95–98 oC. The refractive index of the final product was found increasing with an increase of melamine concentration in the resin. A similar trend was noticed in molecular weight of the resins with an increase in monomer yield. The maximum molecular weight of 114218 was obtained from the sample synthesized with MF molar ratio of 42.4:58.6.  相似文献

Graphene (GR) and its derivatives are promising materials on the horizon of nanotechnology and material science and have attracted a tremendous amount of research interest in recent years. The unique atom‐thick 2D structure with sp2 hybridization and large specific surface area, high thermal conductivity, superior electron mobility, and chemical stability have made GR and its derivatives extremely attractive components for composite materials for solar energy conversion, energy storage, environmental purification, and biosensor applications. This review gives a brief introduction of GR's unique structure, band structure engineering, physical and chemical properties, and recent energy‐related progress of GR‐based materials in the fields of energy conversion (e.g., photocatalysis, photoelectrochemical water splitting, CO2 reduction, dye‐sensitized and organic solar cells, and photosensitizers in photovoltaic devices) and energy storage (batteries, fuel cells, and supercapacitors). The vast coverage of advancements in environmental applications of GR‐based materials for photocatalytic degradation of organic pollutants, gas sensing, and removal of heavy‐metal ions is presented. Additionally, the use of graphene composites in the biosensing field is discussed. We conclude the review with remarks on the challenges, prospects, and further development of GR‐based materials in the exciting fields of energy, environment, and bioscience.  相似文献

In this study, a new microextraction technique has been proposed which has the capability to extract lead (Pb) from human blood serum. Pb was directly extracted without any pretreatment step, whereas all the serum proteins were excluded. Initially, the surface of activated carbon cloths was decorated with bovine serum albumin using glutaraldehyde as cross-linker to prepare restricted-access-activated carbon cloths (RACCs). RACCs were then fixed in a filter holder to form a sorbent cartridge fixed at the tip of a syringe system coupled with electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry. Experimental parameters that could possibly influence the extraction procedure were optimised. The limits of detection and quantification obtained were 1.9 and 6.3 μg L?1, respectively. Pb recoveries in fortified human serum samples were found in the range of 92.2–103.9%. The procedure was effectively used for Pb extraction in real samples devoid of any pretreatment step.  相似文献

Tungsten oxide/graphene hybrid materials are attractive semiconductors for energy-related applications. Herein, we report an asymmetric supercapacitor (ASC, HRG//m-WO3 ASC), fabricated from monoclinic tungsten oxide (m-WO3) nanoplates as a negative electrode and highly reduced graphene oxide (HRG) as a positive electrode material. The supercapacitor performance of the prepared electrodes was evaluated in an aqueous electrolyte (1 m H2SO4) using three- and two-electrode systems. The HRG//m-WO3 ASC exhibits a maximum specific capacitance of 389 F g−1 at a current density of 0.5 A g−1, with an associated high energy density of 93 Wh kg−1 at a power density of 500 W kg−1 in a wide 1.6 V operating potential window. In addition, the HRG//m-WO3 ASC displays long-term cycling stability, maintaining 92 % of the original specific capacitance after 5000 galvanostatic charge–discharge cycles. The m-WO3 nanoplates were prepared hydrothermally while HRG was synthesized by a modified Hummers method.  相似文献

Production of radioactive scandium by irradiating natural titanium metal in Pakistan Research Reactor-1 was evaluated. The production rate of 47Sc and other radioactive scandium was estimated. High specific activity 47Sc can be produced by irradiating enriched 47Ti in sufficient quantities needed for therapeutic applications. A new separation technique based on column chromatography was developed. Neutron irradiated titanium was dissolved in hydrofluoric acid, which was evaporated and taken in distilled water. The resulting solution was loaded on silica gel column. The radioactive scandium comes out first and the inactive titanium is removed with 2 M HCl. More than 95% radioactive scandium was recovered, while chemical impurity of titanium determined by optical emission spectroscopy was less than 0.01 μg/mL in final product.  相似文献

Novel N-bridgehead pyrido[a]-anellated 1,3,2-diazagermol-2-ylidenes 1a,b were obtained from GeCl2 · dioxane and dilithium reagents formed from N-tert-butyl pyridine-2-aldimines and excess lithium in THF whereas attempts to generate the analogous silylene by reduction of the dichloro-pyrido[a]-1,3,2-diazasilole 4a, synthesized from SiCl4 and the new dilithium reagent, failed. Characteristic chemical shifts of the pyrido 1H and 13C nuclei between those of pyridine compounds and the not fully cyclodelocalized electron-rich 4a with dihydropyridine substructure hint to a cyclodelocalized 10π electron system in 1a,b. Quantum chemical investigations of a series of pyrido[a]- and benzo-anellated imidazol-2-ylidenes and their silylene and germylene homologues show for all compounds cyclodelocalized 10π-systems but for pyrido[a]-anellation an increase of the energy of the π-MO’s relative to those of element(II) lone electron pairs which leads to destabilization compared to the benzo-anellated isomers.  相似文献
