A silicon nitride fiber (Si3N4) was synthesized from polycarbosilane (PCS) fiber by radiation application. PCS fibers were cured by electron beam (EB) irradiation in a helium gas atmosphere prior to the pyrolysis. The cured PCS fiber was converted to Si3N4 ceramic fiber with flexibility by nitridation in ammonia gas at a high temperature of 500–1000°C. The obtained Si3N4 fibre showed a high heat resistance up to 1300°C, a high tensile strength of 2 GPa and excellent electrical resistivity of 1013 Ω cm. The ceramic fiber was fabricated to cloth and applied for electric wire insulator. The wire cable is flexible and can be applied at a high temperature atmosphere of around 1000°C. 相似文献

Summary The present paper describes a new analytical method for determining the 240Pu/239Pu isotopic ratio and 238Pu/239+240Pu α -activity ratio in seawater, both of which are important parameters for determining Pu sources in the ocean. Plutonium
isotopes were preconcentrated from a large volume of seawater (4700-10800 liter) by solid phase extraction using MnO2-impregnated fibers and eluted into 3M HCl. After the elution, the Pu species of all oxidation states were converted to Pu(IV)
using NaNO2, purified by solvent extraction using thenoyltrifluoroacetone (TTA)-benzene, and concentrated in 5 ml of 0.2M HNO2. The 240Pu/239Pu and 238Pu/239+240Pu ratios in the 5-ml final solution were determined by inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) and α-spectrometry,
respectively. A pg level of Pu, which was a sufficiently large amount for the determination, was obtained by the solid phase
extraction. Through the redox conversion and solvent extraction, the Pu species, such as Pu(III), Pu(IV) and Pu(VI), were
collected at a high recovery of 96±2% (n=3) despite the presence of large amounts of Mn, and interfering 238U (3.3 μg. l-1in seawater) was effectively removed with a decontamination factor of 1.7·107. The accuracy of the method for the 240Pu/239Pu ratio was verified using reference materials of seawater and a terrestrial soil sample. The present technique was applied

Gold nanoclusters covered with 4-aminothiophenol (4-ATP) self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) were electrochemically assembled on an Au or ITO electrode. The assembly mechanism is discussed on the basis of results of electrochemical, FT-IR, and XPS measurements. Spider dragline silk is a biopolymer with excellent mechanical properties. The development of recombinant spider silk protein (RSP)-based materials with these properties is desirable. Formic acid (FA) is a spinning solvent for regenerated Bombyx mori silk fiber with excellent mechanical properties. To use FA as a spinning solvent for RSP with the sequence of major ampullate spider silk protein from Araneus diadematus, we determined the conformation of RSP in FA using solution NMR to determine the role of FA as a spinning solvent. We assigned 1H, 13C, and 15N chemical shifts to 32-residue repetitive sequences, including polyAla and Gly-rich regions of RSP. Chemical shift evaluation revealed that RSP is in mainly random coil conformation with partially type II β-turn structure in the Gly-Pro-Gly-X motifs of the Gly-rich region in FA, which was confirmed by the 15N NOE data. In addition, formylation at the Ser OH groups occurred in FA. Furthermore, we evaluated the conformation of the as-cast film of RSP dissolved in FA using solid-state NMR and found that β-sheet structure was predominantly formed. 相似文献

Use of a bis(terpyridine)ruthenium(II) derivative as an N-terminal labeling reagent resulted in the simultaneous detection and individual determination of all the N-terminal fragments of the proteins in a mixture without requiring any separation. All of the N-termini of the guanidinated proteins were labeled selectively by the ruthenium complex (-CO-labeling). After chymotryptic digestion, the fragments were analyzed by matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF-MS) and post-source decay (PSD). The -CO moiety exclusively enhanced N-terminal fragment ions in mass spectra and enabled easy N-terminal sequencing. In a mixture containing three different proteins (lysozyme, ubiquitin, and insulin), all of the N-terminal fragment ions labeled with the ruthenium complex were found to produce uniformly intense peaks without the detection of the other unlabeled fragments. The N-terminal sequences of these ions were determined individually by PSD analysis. Application to unknown proteins from Thermus thermophilus HB8 with two-dimensional electrophoretic separation resulted in the successful determination of the N-terminal sequence and easy identification of the target protein. 相似文献

[18F]THK-5351, a new candidate for tau protein imaging, is based on an aryl quinoline structure. We report the full automatic synthesis using disposable cassettes under pH controlled [18F]fluorination. After the trapping of 88.5 ± 21.9 GBq of [18F]fluoride, it was eluted with potassium methansulfonate (KOMs) (pH 7.8)/K222. After drying, 3 mg of the precursor was added to 1 mL DMSO and subjected to [18F]fluorination at 110 °C for 10 min. After hydrolysis, the final product was purified by HPLC. The overall radiochemical yield was 31.9 ± 11.1% (n = 22), satisfying all quality control criteria. It was stable for up to 6 h with high radiochemical purity as 99.8 ± 0.5%. 相似文献

Hepatic artery of dogs was embolized with cisplatin (CDDP) albumin microspheres containing chitin and chitosan to investigate the in vivo CDDP release kinetics from CDDP albumin microspheres, the CDDP cumulative characteristics in the liver, and the influence of microsphere administration on hepatic tissue. Results showed that changes in blood CDDP content were dependent on CDDP albumin microsphere type and that release kinetics were better sustained when chitin was added to the microspheres or when the microspheres were treated with chitosan. In particular, the administration of CDDP in the chitin-containing CDDP chitosan albumin microspheres showed a blood CDDP content of approximately 0.26 micrograms Pt/ml 14 d after administration. The administration of chitin-containing or chitosan treated CDDP microspheres showed a CDDP content in the hepatic tissue of 0.14 to 0.23 micrograms Pt/g 28 d after administration. They also showed better control of CDDP release than those without chitin or chitosan treatment. No CDDP influence on hepatic tissue was observed. We conclude that, even in vivo, chitin and chitosan are effective embolic materials. 相似文献

Heteroleptic and homoleptic iron(III) complexes supported by a tris(N-heterocyclic carbene) borate ligand have been prepared and crystallographically characterized. The strong electron-donating character of the tris(carbene) donor was revealed by UV-vis absorption spectroscopy and electrochemical measurements combined with quantum chemical calculations. The catalytic activity of each complex was evaluated in cyclohexane oxidation reaction using meta-chloroperoxybenzoic acid (=mCPBA) as an oxidant, and both complexes show high catalytic activity and selectivity with TON=∼350 and A/(K+L)=8–10. Mechanistic studies suggested that radical-chain processes are involved in the reaction due to mCPBA acting as a one-electron oxidant, concomitant with the pathway of metal-based reactive species. Moreover, it was found that the homoleptic and heteroleptic complexes differed significantly in the involvement of metal-based active species, with the homoleptic complex exhibiting more metal-based reactions. 相似文献
