For either of the two reflection spectra of cadmium difluoride that are known from experiments, a complete set of the fundamental optical functions is calculated in the energy range 4–45 eV with the Kramers-Kronig relationships. The basic features of the optical spectra are established, and a hypothesis for their origin is suggested based on the known theoretical results for the band structure.  相似文献

Hyperfine interactions of 57Fe impurity nuclei are studied by probe Mössbauer spectroscopy in TmNiO3 and YbNiO3 perovskite-like nickelates in the ranges of temperature transitions of an insulator (T < T IM ) ? metal (T > T IM ) and antiferromagnetic (T < T N ) ? paramagnetic (T > T N ). The changing behavior of hyperfine interaction parameters of 57Fe nuclei in the ranges of phase transition temperatures (T IM and T N ) is analyzed. The results are interpreted in the context of the charge disproportionation of Ni3+ cations associated with the electronic localization in monoclinic-distorted nickelates at T < T IM .  相似文献

The NA60 experiment studies muon pair production at the CERN Super Proton Synchrotron. In this Letter we report on a precision measurement of J/psi in In-In collisions. We have studied the J/psi centrality distribution, and we have compared it with the one expected if absorption in cold nuclear matter were the only active suppression mechanism. For collisions involving more than approximately 80 participant nucleons, we find that an extra suppression is present. This result is in qualitative agreement with previous Pb-Pb measurements by the NA50 experiment, but no theoretical explanation is presently able to coherently describe both results.  相似文献

Medium-energy ion scattering and transmission electron microscopy have been used to study the structural perfection of a Si single crystal implanted with 100 keV Si ions at a dose of 1×1017 cm?2, which exceeds the amorphization threshold by two orders of magnitude. The implantation of Si ions was found to produce a high density of extended defects without amorphization of the Si layer. The increasing depth dependence of the full width at half-minimum of the dip in angular scans of backscattered protons, was observed in a Si layer containing a high density of extended defects, in contrast to the decreasing dependence in the perfect Si crystal.  相似文献

The manganite CaCu3Mn4O12 doped by 119Sn atoms (about 1 at % with respect to Mn atoms) is studied by Mössbauer spectroscopy. The introduction of diamagnetic tin atoms is found not to affect the structure of the manganite. Tetravalent tin atoms are shown to substitute for the isovalent manganese atoms that are located in an octahedral oxygen surrounding. The cluster method of molecular orbitals is used to calculate the contributions of Mn4+ and Cu2+ cations that belong to different structural sublattices to the hyperfine magnetic field at 119Sn nuclei (H Sn = 105 kOe at T = 77 K). These partial contributions are analyzed, and the intrasublattice Mn4+-O-Mn4+ exchange interactions are found to play a significant role in the formation of the magnetic structure of the manganite.  相似文献

We present new measurements of the α + 12C elastic and inelastic (to the states 4.44, 7.65, and 9.64 MeV) scattering at E lab = 110 MeV in the wide angular range from ~10° to 175°, which enable us to examine the condensate and cluster properties of the low-lying excited states in 12C. We present the diffraction-radius analysis of our data together with a considerable amount of the existing data. The magnitudes of the diffraction radii for the ground and the first excited (4.44 MeV) states are found to be equal, whereas they appear to be enhanced by ~0.6 fm both for 7.65 and 9.64 MeV states. This result shows that the radius of the Hoyle’s 0 2 + , 7.65 MeV state in 12C is by a factor of ~1.2–1.3 larger than that of the ground state. It is demonstrated that the direct transfer mechanism of 8Be dominates at the largest angles in all four reactions reported here. The configuration corresponding to the transfer of 8Be in its ground state (I π = 0+) with L = 0 turns out to be the most important for the 7.65 MeV state of 12C. Evidence of existence of some features of α-condensed structure of the Hoyle’s 0 2 + state in 12C was obtained: its enhanced radius and large contribution of α-particle configuration with L = 0.  相似文献

The matter of development of a high-performance pressure recovery system (PRS) for a high-power HF/DF laser is discussed. A sequence of design steps is proposed, which involves estimation of basic characteristics of PRS components with the help of one-dimensional integral and semi-empirical procedures; simulation, to be performed using three-dimensional non-stationary Navier — Stokes equations; experimental modelling aimed at verification of the calculation procedures and at refinement of obtained parameters; and a fullscale experiment. An ejector-type system providing for recovery of pressure from 12 Torr to atmospheric pressure in the gas-dynamic system of an HF/DF laser of several-tens-kilowatt power is developed. Matching conditions for parameters of individual PRS components as well as joint functioning of the PRS with a continuous chemical laser in an integral complex are analysed. Conditions for minimization of mass-dimensional characteristics of the laser-PRS complex necessary for the development of ground-based mobile systems are identified.  相似文献
