Sorption of Cd and Ag by a cation exchange resin has been studied at different molarities of nitric acid. The sorption capacity of Cd on a cation exchanger has been determined. A109Cd/109mAg generator is suggested, based on the sorption of Cd on AG 50W-X8 organic cation exchanger at 0.01M HNO3.109mAg is eluted with 0.2M NaCl, physiologically compatible for human use.  相似文献

A new dipyridyl‐functionalized silica gel (DPSG) was synthesized. The potentiometric response of silver ion was investigated at a carbon paste electrode chemically modified with functionalized nanoporous silica gel. The electrodes with a DPSG proportions of 10.1% (w/w), showed very stable potential. Calibration plots with Nernstian slopes for Ag+ were observed, 58.7 (±0.9) mV decade?1, over a wide linear range of concentration (5.0×10?7 to 1.0×10?1 M). The electrode has a detection limit of 1.0×10?7 M. The selectivity coefficients measured by the match potential method in acetate buffer, pH 5.5, were investigated. The electrode has fast response time, high performance, high sensitivity in wide cation activity ranges, and good long term stability (more than 6 months). The method was satisfactory and used to determine the concentration of silver ion in waste waters contaminated by this metal.  相似文献

In the context of the development of the catalyst regeneration procedure via supercritical fluid CO2 extraction, some thermodynamic properties of the anthracene–carbon dioxide mixture in supercritical fluid state have been studied. Data on anthracene solubility in pure and modified (dimethyl sulfoxide, 5 wt %) supercritical carbon dioxide (SC–CO2), the heat capacity of anthracene and its mixtures with carbon dioxide, and the heat of solution of anthracene in SC–CO2 are presented. Anthracene solubility in SC–CO2 is described satisfactorily using the Peng–Robinson equation of state.  相似文献

This research introduces the design of an adsorptive stripping voltammetric method for the cerium(III) determination at a carbon paste electrode, chemically modified with dipyridyl‐functionalized nanoporous silica gel (DPNSG‐CPE). The electroanalytical procedure comprised two steps: the Ce(III) chemical accumulation at ?200 mV followed by the electrochemical detection of the Ce(III)/dipyridyl complex, using anodic stripping voltammetry. The factors, influencing the adsorptive stripping performance, were optimized including the modifier quantity in the paste, the electrolyte concentrations, the solution pH and the accumulation potential or time. The resulting electrode demonstrated a linear response over a wide range of Ce(III) concentration (1.0–28 ng mL?1). The precision for seven determinations of 4 and 10 ng mL?1 Ce(III) was 3.2% and 2.5% (relative standard deviation), respectively. The prepared electrode was used for the cerium determination in real samples and very good recovery results were obtained.  相似文献

Two new complexes of substituted phenyl acetic acids with CuSO4 · 5H2O and 2,2′-bipyridine (Bipy) with formula [CuL(Bipy)2]L · nH2O, where L = 2-ClC6H4CH2COO (I), 2-CH3-3-NO2C6H3CH2COO (II) and n = 3 (I); 4 (II), have been synthesized. These complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR and X-ray crystal diffraction (CIF file CCDC nos. 1487707 (I), 1487708 (II)). Both complexes are mononuclear and crystallize in the triclinic space group P1?. In both complexes two molecules of Bipy bind equatorially with metal atom and one molecule of substituted phenyl acetic acid binds at axial position giving rise to a distorted five coordinated geometry around copper atom, while the second oxygen atom of carboxylate ligand appears to occupy the sixth position resulting in highly distorted six coordination environments around metal center in both complexes. However, another molecule of substituted phenyl acetic acid along with water molecules lies as co-crystal within the crystal lattice. Two bipyridine molecules in both complexes are lying in different planes and are oriented at dihedral angle of 63.89(8)° and 74.99(11)° in complexes I and II, respectively. Extensive hydrogen bonding because of water molecules present in crystal lattice plays a vital role in the formation of the 3D structure. Additionally, other weak interactions such as π–π interactions markedly influence the supramolecular structure. An investigation of DNA binding ability of both complexes using UV-visible spectroscopy and anti-diabetic capacity is also presented. Results revealed that synthesized complexes bind with SSDNA through intercalation as well as groove binding mode with Kb values of 2.45 × 104 and 7.72 × 103 M–1 for complex I and II, respectively. Complex II strongly inhibits in-vitro α-glucosidase with IC50 value of 30.4 μM, while complex I moderately inhibits in-vitro α-amylase with IC50 value of 69.9 μM. A numerical analysis is developed for incompressible hydromagnetic viscous fluid passed through a curved stretching surface. Fluid saturated by porous space is bounded by curved surface. Term of porous medium is characterized by implementation of Darcy-Forchheimer theory. Adequate similarity variables are implemented to develop a system of non-linear ordinary differential system of equations, which govern the flow behavior. The impact of radiation constraint and Eckert number is incorporated in the energy equation. Numerical scheme based on RKF45 technique is implemented to solve the derived flow model. Prescribed heat flux(PHF) and prescribed surface temperature(PST) boundary conditions are utilized on temperature with Prescribed Surface Concentration(PSC) and Prescribed Mass Flux(PMF)on concentration. Flow behavior is discussed for both the slip and no-slip conditions. Dimensionless physical quantities are presented through graphs and tables.  相似文献
