A versatile two-step, one-pot reaction to access N-substituted-2H-indazol-2-amine derivatives has been elaborated. A diverse set of analogues was obtained by a sequential hydrazone formation and reductive cyclization in moderate to good yields from readily available starting materials. The strategy tolerates a broad range of substitutions pattern and functional groups allowing further derivatizations.  相似文献

Pollution indices aggregate concentrations of several water quality parameters into a single quantity to indicate the general status of pollution in a region. In this study, a variant of the previous water quality index was used to evaluate the pollution status in the Wular Lake, Kashmir, which is a Ramsar site and wetland of international importance. The index termed as water quality status index (WQSI) is considered as a simple pollution indicator to support management actions in the Wular Lake, Kashmir. WQSI is a valuable and unique rating to depict the overall water quality status and pollution level of the waterbody in a spatial context and is also capable of dealing with those water quality parameters which do not have well-developed standard values. In this study, the water quality of the Wular Lake was investigated in June 2013 for 21 sample locations. The index used in this work is composed of 13 measurable physico-chemical parameters – pH, dissolved oxygen, chemical oxygen demand, biological oxygen demand, alkalinity, hardness, chloride, total dissolved solids, ammonia, iron, nitrite, nitrate and fluoride. The generation of WQSI is based on weighted overlay technique, in which interpolated raster maps were generated for all the 13 water quality parameters and weights are assigned to each and every parameter using analytic hierarchy process technique, considering their status as benefit or cost criteria. Based on the value of WQSI, the whole lake was divided into five zones, comprising least polluted zone (23%), moderately polluted zone (20%), high polluted zone (30%), very high polluted zone (22%) and extremely polluted zone (5%). From this study, it has been found that 60 km2 (77%) of total lake area constitutes the moderate to extremely polluted zone and only 18 km2 (23%) of the total lake area constitutes the least polluted zone, which is in the north-west region of the lake. The study reveals that the world-famous Wular Lake is undergoing the eutrophication process and as a result of which the lake is losing its water holding capacity to deal with the disastrous flood problem in Kashmir region.  相似文献

A new approach was proposed for the synthesis of 2‐azido‐1,3‐diols from easily available and inexpensive chiral pool synthon (R)‐2,3‐O‐cyclohexylidene‐D ‐glyceraldehyde, through Mitsunobu azidation of 1,2‐diols. The demand of radioisotopes is rising due to wide-ranging applications in industry, agriculture, medicine and in research. Two sources of artificial radioisotopes are accelerators and reactors. The reactor offers large volume for irradiation, simultaneous irradiation of different samples and economy of production, whereas accelerators are generally used to produce those isotopes which can not be produced by reactor. Radioisotope production started on a significant scale in several countries with the commissioning of research reactors starting from the late 1950s. The period from 1950 to 1970 saw construction of a large number of research reactors with multiple facilities. After 1980, because of the decommissioning of many old ones, the number of operating reactors has been steadily decreasing. The research reactors used for radioisotope production could be broadly classified into swimming pool type and tank type reactors. CANDU power reactors currently produce many millions of curies per year of 60Co for MDS Nordion’s use in industry and commerce. Studies related to production of other isotopes in power reactors have also been performed. Indeed, while a very few reactors have come online in the past decade, many more have been retired or may retire in coming years. After failure of MAPLE project, there has been unwillingness to built new reactors. Activism and politics has made it so difficult to build new reactors that we are left to use only the reactors we inherited from a nuclear era. Many design considerations and requirements for the production of isotopes in power reactors must be assessed, such as; operator and public safety, minimum impact on station efficiency and reactor operations, shielding requirements during reactor operation with target adjusters and removal of the target adjusters from core, transportation within the station, and finally the processing and shipment off-site. Use of power reactors for isotope production is reviewed.  相似文献

In this paper, we give a new construction of resonant normal forms with a small remainder for near-integrable Hamiltonians at a quasi-periodic frequency. The construction is based on the special case of a periodic frequency, a Diophantine result concerning the approximation of a vector by independent periodic vectors and a technique of composition of periodic averaging. It enables us to deal with non-analytic Hamiltonians, and in this first part we will focus on Gevrey Hamiltonians and derive normal forms with an exponentially small remainder. This extends a result which was known for analytic Hamiltonians, and only in the periodic case for Gevrey Hamiltonians. As applications, we obtain an exponentially large upper bound on the stability time for the evolution of the action variables and an exponentially small upper bound on the splitting of invariant manifolds for hyperbolic tori, generalizing corresponding results for analytic Hamiltonians.  相似文献

This article discusses analytical solutions for a nonlinear problem arising in the boundary layer flow of power-law fluid over a power-law stretching surface. Using perturbation method analytical solution is presented for linear stretching surface. This solution covers large range of shear thinning and shear thickening fluids and matches excellently with the numerical solution. Furthermore, some new exact solutions are found for particular combination of m (power-law stretching index) and n (power-law fluid index). This leads to generalize the case of linear stretching to nonlinear stretching surface. The effects of fluid index n on the boundary layer thickness and the skin friction for nonlinear stretching surface is analyzed and discussed. It is observed that the boundary layer thickness and the skin friction coefficient increase as non-linear parameter n decreases. This study gives a new dimension to obtain analytical solutions asymptotically for highly nonlinear problems which to the best of our knowledge has not been examined so far.  相似文献

Metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) capable of mobility and manipulation are attractive materials for potential applications in targeted drug delivery, catalysis, and small‐scale machines. One way of rendering MOFs navigable is incorporating magnetically responsive nanostructures, which usually involve at least two preparation steps: the growth of the magnetic nanomaterial and its incorporation during the synthesis of the MOF crystals. Now, by using optimal combinations of salts and ligands, zeolitic imidazolate framework composite structures with ferrimagnetic behavior can be readily obtained via a one‐step synthetic procedure, that is, without the incorporation of extrinsic magnetic components. The ferrimagnetism of the composite originates from binary oxides of iron and transition metals such as cobalt. This approach exhibits similarities to the natural mineralization of iron oxide species, as is observed in ores and in biomineralization.  相似文献

A kinetic formulation is developed to investigate low‐frequency dust ion acoustic waves (DIAWs) and dust acoustic waves (DAWs) as well as numerically for a four‐component, collisionless, unmagnetized dusty plasma, using the linearized Vlasov–Poisson model for species obeying the Maxwellian distribution. In particular, the dynamics of low‐frequency DIAWs is investigated by considering two cases. In the first case, ions and positive dust particles are assumed to be dynamically adiabatic while the negative dust particles are static in the background. In second case, the ions are taken adiabatic, while both positive and negative dust particles are static in the background. For DAWs, the ions are assumed to be isothermal, while both positive and negative dust species are considered adiabatic. Electrons are assumed to be isothermal in all cases. The linear characteristics and Landau damping rates for DIAWs and DAWs are investigated with effects of the dust particle concentrations and different temperature ratios. It is noted that for higher values of positive dust concentration, DIAWs (DAWs) are less (more) damped. It is also observed that the damping rate increases (decreases) as Ti approaches Te for DIAWs (DAWs). It is worth adding here that the theoretical results presented here are supported by numerical analyses and illustrations. The relevance of the study to laboratory and cosmic plasmas is also pointed out.  相似文献
