Efficient two-photon absorption of CdSe-CdS/ZnS core-multishell quantum dots under the excitation of near-infrared femtosecond pulsed laser

We report that two-photon absorption (TPA) properties of semiconductor CdSe-core CdS/ZnS-multishell quantum dots (QDs) in toluene under excitation of femtosecond laser at 800 nm. The results show efficient TPA process and large TPA cross section of three types of size QDs, which is 1900, 5710, and 16060 GM (1 GM = 10⁻⁵⁰ cm⁴ s photon⁻¹), respectively. TPA cross section dramatically increases with increased core size, showing a strong size-dependence effect. Furthermore, two-photon excitation (TPE) fluorescence intensity not only depends on TPA capacity, but also relies on improved quantum yield resulting from passivation of QD surface by different coated monolayers (MLs). These facts in combination with the narrow fluorescence bandwidth make these QDs as promising probes for multicolor two-photon microscopy.     

Analysis on Patterns of Globally Coupled Phase Oscillators with Attractive and Repulsive Interactions

The Hong-Strogatz (HS) model of globally coupled phase oscillators with attractive and repulsive interactions reflects the fact that each individual (oscillator) has its own attitude (attractive or repulsive) to the same environment (mean field). Previous studies on HS model focused mainly on the stable states on Ott-Antonsen (OA) manifold. In this paper, the eigenvalues of the Jacobi matrix of each fixed point in HS model are explicitly derived, with the aim to understand the local dynamics around each fixed point. Phase transitions are described according to relative population and coupling strength. Besides, the dynamics off OA manifold is studied.     

吡啶团簇的飞秒光电离和从头计算研究

用飞秒激光电离飞行时间质谱研究了吡啶分子团簇在 4 0 0nm波长下的多光子光电离 ,实验观测到一系列的质子化和非质子化团簇离子 .结果表明 ,质子转移也能发生在弱氢键结合的分子间 .通过分析离子峰宽和离子信号强度随气源压力的变化 ,得到质子化团簇离子来源于大团簇离子的碎裂 ,而非质子化团簇离子是中性团簇直接电离的结果 .从头计算结果表明 ,吡啶团簇是通过弱氢键C -H…N结合在一起的 ,并且团簇离子离解倾向于生成质子化产物     

以吐温-80为增溶剂催化光度法测定痕量钒(Ⅴ)

本文报道了在硫酸性介质中 ,以吐温 - 80为增溶剂 ,溴酸钾氧化姜黄催化光度法测定痕量钒 ( )的新体系。方法的检出限为 2 .6× 10 -3mg· L-1;相对标准偏差为 2 .7% (n=9) ,线性范围为 0 .0 12— 0 .0 4 0mg· L-1。可用于测定水样中痕量钒 ( ) ,结果满意     

用于高数值孔径物镜的可调光瞳滤波器

根据矢量衍射理论，提出了一种用于提高高数值孔径显微物镜纵向分辨率的可调二元环形光瞳滤波器，通过改变滤波器的环半径获得不同的纵向分辨率，并利用共焦显微术点扩散函数的乘积性大大地降低了旁瓣相对主瓣的比值。模拟结果表明，这种新型滤波器不仅可以提高高数值孔径物镜的纵向分辨率，同时基本上不影响横向分辨率。     

High frequency characteristics of NiO/(FeCo/NiO)10 multilayers with exchange anisotropy

[NiO/Fe₆₅Co₃₅]₁₀ exchange-coupled multilayer films for high frequency applications are fabricated, and their static magnetic property and microwave permeability are studied systematically. Both exchange bias field and ferromagnetic resonance frequency of the multilayers increase with decreasing Fe₆₅Co₃₅ thickness, which means that the microwave properties such as permeability and FMR frequency can be controlled by changing Fe₆₅Co₃₅ thickness in the exchange-coupled films. Ferromagnetic resonance frequencies beyond 7 GHz of the films are measured and reported for the first time.     

Efficient 1047 nm CW laser emission of Nd:YLF under direct pumping into the emitting level

We demonstrate a 1047 nm Nd:LiYF₄ (Nd:YLF) laser by directly pumping into the upper lasing level with a tunable Ti:Sapphire laser. The results obtained for direct upper laser level pumping at 863, 872 and 880 nm of Nd:YLF were compared with traditional 806 nm pump band excitation. Highly efficient 1047 nm continuous-wave (CW) laser emission under direct pumping at 880 nm in an 8 mm thick, 1.0 at.% Nd:YLF crystal is obtained. The slope efficiency is improved from 55.6% for traditional pumping at 806 nm to 76.3% for direct pumping at 880 nm.
