New 0+-levels have been identified at 1,436 keV and 1,859 keV in98Zr through experiments at the fission product separators OSTIS and JOSEF. Half-lives of these levels of 0.69 ns and 0.24 ns, respectively, have been determined from measurements of delayedβ,γ coincidences.E0 transitions depopulating these 0+-levels have been observed. The Q value of the144Sm(3He,d)145Eu reaction has been measured relative to Q values of the same reaction on92Mo,142Nd, and209 Bi target nuclei with a Q3D spectrograph. An 86 MeV/nucleon 12C beam has been used to bombard targets of C, Ag and Au. Energy spectra of reaction products with Z = 3?6 and A = 6?12 have been measured at angles between 3° and 20°. Beta-delayed neutrons and high-energyγ-rays following decay of137I have been studied in order to characterizeβ-decay to and deexcitation of neutron-unbound levels in137Xe. The totalγ-ray intensity observed accounts for at least 20% of theβ-intensity to levels aboveB n . No evidence was found for neutron andγ-ray emission from the same levels. With the experimentalβ-strength function aboveB n detailed tests were performed on the reproduction of the experimental neutron spectrum, the level density and Porter-Thomas fluctuations of the reducedβ-transition probabilities to highly excited states in137Xe.  相似文献
