A boehmite@tryptophan‐Pd nanoparticulate catalyst was prepared by a simple, fast and convenient route. The nanomaterial was characterized using various techniques and employed as a thermally stable catalyst for Heck, Stille and Suzuki cross‐coupling reactions. Optimized conditions for these reactions are described. The catalyst could be isolated, post‐reaction, by simple filtration and recycled for several consecutive cycles without a notable change in its activity.  相似文献

The COVID-19 pandemic shows to have a huge impact on people's health and countries' infrastructures around the globe. Iran was one of the first countries that experienced the vast prevalence of the coronavirus outbreak. The Iranian authorities applied various non-pharmaceutical interventions to eradicate the epidemic in different periods. This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of non-pharmaceutical interventions in managing the current Coronavirus pandemic and to predict the next wave of infection in Iran. To achieve the research objective, the number of cases and deaths before and after the interventions was studied and the effective reproduction number of the infection was analyzed under various scenarios. The SEIR generic model was applied to capture the dynamic of the pandemic in Iran. To capture the effects of different interventions, the corresponding reproduction number was considered. Depending on how people are responsive to interventions, the effectiveness of each intervention has been investigated. Results show that the maximum number of the total of infected individuals will occur around the end of May and the start of June 2021. It is concluded that the outbreak could be smoothed if full lockdown and strict quarantine continue. The proposed modeling could be used as an assessment tool to evaluate the effects of different interventions in new outbreaks.

Glass transition characteristics and mechanical wave attenuation of the neat and filled styrene‐butadiene rubber (SBR) containing 10 wt % of rigid monosize polystyrene particles of various diameters from several hundred microns down to several tens of nanometers were investigated by dynamic mechanical thermal analysis, impedance tube, and ultrasonic spectroscopy. The results showed the matrix damping capacity and the breadth of glass transition increase by reducing the size of rigid particles due to the matrix‐particles interfacial area increase as the major governing parameter. Matrix glass transition broadening toward higher temperatures was attributed to the increased dynamic heterogeneity induced by fillers, whereas the damping capacity increase was assigned to contribution of interfacial friction loss mechanism. The proposed postulation was confirmed based on the calculated temperature distribution of the relaxing matrix volume fraction. Sound wave attenuation by the matrix and PS particles filled systems led to a broad absorption peak for the former and appearance of a secondary absorption peak at lower frequencies for the latter. Intensity of this secondary peak was highest for the system containing PS nanoparticles. Finally, ultrasonic attenuation enhanced by the PS particle size to wavelength ratio increase according to αsca ~ (d/λ)0.38 scaling law and declined by replacing the dense particles with larger hollow PS particles. Comparison of the normalized attenuation of the PS particle filled SBR in various mechanical wave attenuation regimes implied low sensitivity to particle size in vibration, mild differentiation in the sound, and finally severe differentiation in the ultrasound regimes. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. We present a systematic identification method for the development of equivalent boundary conditions for turbulent flow simulation over rough walls in engineering applications where the typical roughness involved is known for a given application. After parameterizing the roughness and sampling of the parameter space, numerical simulations or experiences are used to generate a database which is used to identify the coefficients of a polynomial reduced-order model. These laws are parameterized by an a priori length scale for which we propose a new a posteriori criterion.  相似文献

Seven new azo disperse dyes based on N-benzyl–N-ethyl–aniline were synthesized and characterized by UV–Vis, FT-IR and 1H NMR spectroscopic techniques. The UV–visible studies and solvatochromic behavior of all dyes in 15 solvents with different polarity were examined and a meaningful correlation was observed. In the optical characterization of dyes using Z-Scan experiment, thin films of polymethyl metacrylate doped with guest synthesized chromophores 2, 3, 4 and 7 were investigated.  相似文献
