The results of this study show that disilathiane is an effective mediator in the synthesis of alkyl aryl sulfides with disulfides and alkyl carboxylates. Mechanistic studies suggest that disilathiane promotes cleavage of the sulfur–sulfur bond of disulfides to generate thiosilane as a key intermediate. Diselenides were also applicable to this transformation to produce the corresponding selenides.  相似文献

8-Anilino-1-naphthalenesulfonic acid (ANS) is used as a hydrophobic fluorescence probe due to its high intensity in hydrophobic environments, and also as a microenvironment probe because of its unique ability to exhibit peak shift and intensity change depending on the surrounding solvent environment. The difference in fluorescence can not only be caused by the microenvironment but can also be affected by the binding affinity, which is represented by the binding constant (K). However, the overall binding process considering the binding constant is not fully understood, which requires the ANS fluorescence binding mechanism to be examined. In this study, to reveal the rate-limiting step of the ANS–protein binding process, protein concentration-dependent measurements of the ANS fluorescence of lysozyme and bovine serum albumin were performed, and the binding constants were analyzed. The results suggest that the main factor of the binding process is the microenvironment at the binding site, which restricts the attached ANS molecule, rather than the attractive diffusion-limited association. The molecular mechanism of ANS–protein binding will help us to interpret the molecular motions of ANS molecules at the binding site in detail, especially with respect to an equilibrium perspective.  相似文献

Cellulose, which comprises D-glucose and L-glucose (D,L-cellulose), was synthesized from D-glucose (1D) and L-glucose (1L) via cationic ring-opening polymerization. Specifically, the ring-opening copolymerization of 3-O-benzyl-2,6-di-O-pivaloyl-β-D-glucopyranoside (2D) and 3-O-benzyl-2,6-di-O-pivaloyl-β-D-glucopyranoside (2L), synthesized from compounds 1D and 1L, respectively, in a 1:1 ratio, afforded 3-O-benzyl-2,6-di-O-β-D,L-glucopyranan (3DL) with a degree of polymerization (DPn) of 28.5 (Mw/Mn?=?1.90) in quantitative yield. The deprotection of compound 3DL and subsequent acetylation proceeded smoothly to afford acetylated compound 4DL with a DPn of 18.6 (Mw/Mn?=?2.08). The specific rotation of acetylated compound 4DL was?+?0.01°, suggesting that acetylated compound 4DL was optically inactive cellulose triacetate. Furthermore, before acetylation, compound 4DL was an optically inactive cellulose comprising an almost racemic mixture of D-glucose and L-glucose. Compound 4DL was an amorphous polymer. This is the first reported synthesis of optically inactive D,L-cellulose.

Abstract

Gas sensing by using the transmission surface plasmon resonance (T-SPR) technique was demonstrated. Polyacrylic acid (PAA)/5-nm-thick gold/40-nm-thick silver/polycarbonate grating substrate structure (Sensor A) responded to ammonia; however, it exhibited a strong humidity dependence. Polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)/5-nm-thick gold/40-nm-thick silver/polycarbonate grating substrate structure (Sensor B) as the sensing material was also prepared and it mainly responded to humidity. The T-SPR properties of Sensors A and B were observed simultaneously by a stacking arrangement that enabled us to obtain the responses by using a single spectrophotometer. The ammonia concentration under various humidity conditions could be accurately obtained by simultaneous measurement of Sensors A and B.  相似文献

The age-hardenable Ti–5Fe–5Zr (wt. %, 5Zr) alloy has been consolidated by pulsed electric current sintering, following a β solution treatment, and the results are compared with a Ti–5Fe (0Zr) alloy. The precipitation sequence measured at 640°C ageing is β?+?athermal ω?→?β?+?isothermal ω?→?β?+?α. At the peak hardness isothermal ω phase forms at 20?s of ageing. The Zr addition retards the precipitation kinetics of the α phase; as a result, the α phase nucleates at latest at 300?s ageing in the overaged state. Fe is partitioned into β, while it is depleted from the α phases. There is Zr enrichment near the α/β interface when the α phase precipitates due to a solute drag effect; the growth rate of the α phase in the 5Zr alloy is significantly reduced compared with that in the 0Zr alloy.  相似文献

Electron beams with the lowest, normalized transverse emittance recorded so far were produced and confirmed in single-bunch-mode operation of the Accelerator Test Facility at KEK. We established a tuning method of the damping ring which achieves a small vertical dispersion and small x-y orbit coupling. The vertical emittance was less than 1% of the horizontal emittance. At the zero-intensity limit, the vertical normalized emittance was less than 2.8 x 10(-8) rad m at beam energy 1.3 GeV. At high intensity, strong effects of intrabeam scattering were observed, which had been expected in view of the extremely high particle density due to the small transverse emittance.  相似文献

Kelvin probe force microscopy (KFM) and conductive atomic force microscopy (C‐AFM) together with micro X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) were performed for the stacking structure comprising of the transition metal oxide Co–O and metal electrode, which exhibits large reproducible resistance switching. The application of the external voltage by the C‐AFM cantilever decreases the resistance of Co–O, which well accords with the non‐polar forming process observed in the Pt/Co–O/Pt trilayer, known as the candidate of resistance random access memory (ReRAM). Furthermore, the KFM and micro XPS experimentally revealed that the local reductive reaction of Co–O possibly nucleates the defect related energy levels which dominates the current conduction in the low resistance state. Quasi-one-dimensional (1-D) cupric oxide Ca1?xCuO2 (x = 0.164) is the system with 25–40% hole-doped edge-sharing CuO2 chains. However, the holes are almost localized in Ca1?xCuO2 and its magnetic susceptibility with a peak at 30 K was explained by the model considering both 1-D antiferromagnetic chains and spin dimers (Z. Hiroi, M. Okumura, Y. Nabeshima, T. Yamada, M. Takano: J. Phys. Soc. Jpn.69, 1824, 2000). To clarify the magnetic nature of Ca1?xCuO2, we performed submillimeter-wave electron spin resonance (ESR) measurements on a powder sample of Ca0.83?6CuO2. The resonance above 12 K showed typical powder ESR of Cu2+ and theg-values were determined to be g∥= 2.33 and g = 2.06 from the analysis. The resonance below 12 K changed completely from ESR. The frequency-field relation of ESR at 1.8 K clearly showed the easy-axis type antiferromagnetic resonance.  相似文献

The previously described method involving the use of transient DSC was applied to pharmaceutical powder compacts and to ceramic powder compacts. The samples were prepared by compressing powders of pentaerythritol tetraacetate and two kinds of alumina powder (differing in particle size distribution) up to a pressure of 20 MPa by using a jig. For pentaerythritol tetraacetate, a linear relationship was obtained between the parameter obtained by DSC and the compaction pressure.
