An all-fiber 1.48-mum generator based on a laser-diode-pumped Yb-doped double-clad laser and a cascaded Raman wavelength converter has been developed. Second-order Raman Stokes radiation was generated in a phosphosilicate-fiber resonator formed by two pairs of Bragg gratings. A slope efficiency of the Raman converter of 48% with respect to the power emitted by the double-clad Yb laser has been achieved. We obtained an output power of 1 W at a slope efficiency of 34% with respect to the laser-diode array power, with a total optical-to-optical efficiency of 23%. 相似文献

Broad-line nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) measurements have been carried out for the proton resonance in an oriented liquid-crystalline copolyster prepared from 4-hydroxybenzoic acid (HBA) and 2-hydroxy-6-naphthoic acid (HNA). The Second moments were determined as a function of the angle γ between the specimen orientation direction and the static magnetic field. The low-temperature NMR results are consistent with a rigid structure of random copolymer chains arranged on a hexagonal lattice. As the temperature is raised the NMR signal changes and can be modeled very satisfactorily by considering that there is free rotation of the benzene ring residues about the 1-4 substitution direction. At more elevated temperatures the observed NMR spectra are consistent with rotation of both HBA and HNA groups. 相似文献

The heat capacity of the metallomesogen purple cobalt stearate Co(O2CC17H35)2 has been measured by adiabatic calorimetry at temperatures between 16 and 420 K. This compound exhibits two crystalline phases (low temperature Cr2 and high temperature Cr1 phases), mesophase (M phase), and isotropic liquid (I phase). A third crystalline phase Cr3, which is entirely metastable with respect to all the others, is suggested by DSC studies. The Cr2-to-Cr1, Cr1-to-M, and M-to-I phase transitions occurred at 362.1, 380.9, and 400.4 K, respectively. The enthalpy and entropy gains at these phase transitions were determined.
