Transition in the boundary layer on a flat plate in a turbulent flow is investigated experimentally and theoretically. The roton excitation in the superfluid 4He does not possess a stationary dipole moment. However, a roton has an instantaneous dipole moment, such that at any given
moment one can find it in the state either with positive or with negative dipole moment projection on its momentum direction.
The instantaneous value of electric dipole moment of roton excitation is evaluated. The result is in reasonable agreement
with recent experimental observation of the splitting of microwave resonance absorption line at roton frequency under external

We investigate Abrikosov lattice structures in the unconventional superconductor UPt (3) under magnetic field parallel to the hexagonal crystal axis. Only the two-dimensional E2 superconducting state among the many other states of different symmetry is compatible with the recent observation [A. Huxley et al., Nature (London) 406, 160 (2000)] of the flux lattice in the A phase misaligned with crystallographic directions. It is shown that the inequality of the London penetration depths in the basal plane directions resulting from the superposition of hexagonal crystal and superconducting state anisotropies leads for E2 to a slightly distorted triangular flux lattice. 相似文献

A search for T-violating transverse muon polarization (P(T)) in the K+-->pi(0)mu(+)nu decay was performed using kaon decays at rest. A new improved value P(T)=-0.0017+/-0.0023(stat)+/-0.0011(syst) was obtained giving an upper limit |P(T)|<0.0050. The T-violation parameter was determined to be Imxi=-0.0053+/-0.0071(stat)+/-0.0036(syst) giving an upper limit |Imxi|<0.016. 相似文献
