A study of long-lived spin order in chlorothiophene carboxylates at both high and low magnetic fields is presented. Careful sample preparation (removal of dissolved oxygen in solution, chelating of paramagnetic impurities, reduction of convection) allows one to obtain very long-lived singlet order of the two coupled protons in chlorothiophene derivatives, having lifetimes of about 130 s in D2O and 240 s in deuterated methanol, which are much longer than the T1-relaxation times (18 and 30 s, respectively, at a field =9.4 T). In protonated solvents the relaxation times become shorter, but the lifetime is still substantially longer than . In addition, long-lived coherences are shown to have lifetimes as long as 30 s. Thiophene derivatives can be used as molecular tags to study slow transport, slow dynamics and slow chemical processes, as has been shown in recent years.  相似文献

Computer-optimized selective pulses are routinely used in solution-state NMR spectroscopy. At the same time, their utility and importance for solid-state applications has yet to be fully realized. We suggest a new computational approach that makes the design of soft selective pulses with desired properties relatively straightforward. By applying this technique to the generic selective excitation problem, we have arrived at a family of high performance selective excitation pulses, dubbed E-Family, that allows more flexibility and better performance than analogous pulses previously reported in the literature. The new pulses have been successfully tested in both solid- and solution-state NMR experiments. A theoretical treatment of the effects of chemical shift anisotropy (CSA) on the selective excitation in magic-angle spinning (MAS) experiments in solids is presented. The set of heuristics that comprise our new strategy were incorporated into a general NMR simulation program SPINEVOLUTION.  相似文献

Mannich condensation of exo-2,exo-6-tricyclo[5.2.1.02,6]decan-8-one with paraformaldehyde and dimethylamine hydrochloride results in the addition of dimethylaminomethyl fragment at the C9 atom to give the exo-9-isomer. The reaction of exo-9-dimethylaminomethyl-exo-2,exo-6-tricyclo[5.2.1.02,6]decan-8-one with hydroxylamine hydrochloride in alcoholic alkali yields the corresponding Z-oxime which undergoes selective rearrangement into exo-10-dimethylaminomethyl-9-aza-exo-2,exo-6-tricyclo[5.3.1.02,6]undecan-8-one by the action of sulfuric acid in acetonitrile.  相似文献

A number of new 1,3-diaryl-4,7-phenanthrolines were synthesized by heterocyclization of arylidene-6-quinolylamines with acetophenones in the presence of an acidic catalyst. Intermediate amino ketones and side products, viz., N-(R1-benzyl)-6-quinolylamines and ,-unsaturated ketones, were isolated. StrucEluc is an expert system that allows the computer-assisted elucidation of chemical structures based on the inputs of a series of spectral data including 1D and 2D NMR and mass spectra. The system has been enabled to allow a chemist to utilize fragments stored in a fragment database as well as user-defined fragments submitted by the chemist in the structure elucidation process. The association of fragments in this way has been shown to dramatically speed up the process of structure generation from 2D NMR data and has helped to minimize or eliminate the need for user intervention thereby further enabling the vision of automated elucidation. The use of fragments has frequently transformed very difficult 2D NMR elucidation challenges into easily solvable tasks. A strategy to utilize molecular fragments has been developed and optimized based on specific challenging examples. This strategy will be described here using real world examples. Experience gained by solving more than 150 structure elucidation problems from a variety of literature sources is also reviewed in this work.  相似文献

Structural and mechanistic aspects of orthoplatination of acetophenone and benzaldehyde oximes by the platinum(II) sulfoxide and sulfide complexes [PtCl(2)L(2)] (2, L = SOMe(2) (a), rac-SOMePh (b), R-SOMe(C(6)H(4)Me-4) (c), and SMe(2) (d)) to afford the corresponding platinacycles cis-(C,S)-[Pt(II)(C(6)H(3)-2-CR'=NOH-5-R)Cl(L)] (3, R, R' = H, Me) have been investigated. The reaction of acetophenone oxime with sulfoxide complex 2a in methanol solvent occurs noticeably faster than with sulfide complex 2d due to the fact that the sulfoxide is a much better platinum(II) leaving ligand than the sulfide. Evidence is presented that the orthoplatination is a multistep process. The formation of unreactive dichlorobis(N-oxime)platinum(II) cations accounts for the rate retardation by excess acetophenone oxime and suggests the importance of pseudocoordinatively unsaturated species for the C-H bond activation by Pt(II). A comparative X-ray structural study of dimethyl sulfoxide platinacycle 3b (R = R' = Me) and its sulfide analogue 3e (R = H, R' = Me), as well as of SOMePh complex 3c (R = H, R' = Me), indicated that they are structurally similar and a sulfur ligand is coordinated in the cis position with respect to the sigma-bound phenyl carbon. The differences concern the Pt-S bond distance, which is notably longer in the sulfide complex 3e (2.2677(11) A) as compared to that in sulfoxide complexes 3b (2.201(2)-2.215(2) A) and 3c (2.2196(12) A). Whereas the metal plane is practically a plane of symmetry in 3b due to the H-bonding between the sulfoxide oxygen and the proton at carbon ortho to the Pt-C bond, an S-bonded methyl of SOMePh and SMe(2) is basically in the platinum(II) plane in complexes 3c and 3e, respectively. There are intra- and intermolecular hydrogen bond networks in complex 3b. An interesting structural feature of complex 3c is that the two independent molecules in the asymmetric unit of the crystal reveal an extremely short Pt-Pt contact of 3.337 A.  相似文献
