Tetrakis(bithienyl)methane and tetrakis(terthienyl)methane have been synthesized from tetrakis(2‐thienyl)methane by use of Suzuki–Miyaura coupling as a key reaction. Their trimethylsilyl (TMS) derivatives are also synthesized. X‐ray analysis reveals that each oligothiophene moiety tends to adopt anti‐conformations and show relatively small torsion angles between the adjacent thiophene rings. While the longest absorption maxima of these tetrakis(oligothienyl)methanes exhibit only a slight bathochromic shift compared to the corresponding linear oligothiophene derivative, tetrakis(bithienyl)methane and its TMS derivative exhibit an appreciable red‐shift in their fluorescence spectra. The intramolecular interaction between thienyl groups of tetrakis(2‐thienyl)methane is supported by DFT calculation. 相似文献

A ganglioside molecular species, LMG-2 ( 1 ), has been obtained from the water-soluble lipid fraction of the chloroform/methanol extract of the starfish Luidia maculata. On the basis of chemical and spectroscopic findings, the structure of 1 has been elucidated. 1 is a ganglioside molecular species of starfish resembling the mammalian ganglioside GM3. A ganglioside molecular species [LLG-3 ( 1 )] has been obtained from the water-soluble lipid fraction of the CHCl3/MeOH extract of the starfish Linckialaevigata. On the basis of chemical and spectroscopic findings, the structure of 1 has been elucidated. Negative-ion FABMS provided important information concerning both the structure of the sugar moiety and the molecular mass of the ganglioside. On the other hand, positive-ion FABMS/MS of [M + Na]+ ions obtained in the positive-ion FABMS of the ceramide lactoside ( 4 ) derived from 1 indicated the structure of the fatty acid chain of the ceramide moiety. 1 represents a new ganglioside molecular species possessing a 2→11-linked tandem-type disialosyl moiety. 相似文献

Plasma polymerizations of three cyano compounds—acrylonitrile (AN), 1,2-dicyanoethylene (FN), and tetracyanoethylene (TCE)—were investigated by FT IR and XPS, and the transforamtion of cyano groups during the plasma polymerization was discussed. The results pointed out an aspect of the preparation of plasma films with cyano groups. Plasma polymerizations of AN, FN, and TCE deposited brown or dark brown films that contained carbon, nitrogen, and oxygen. The elemental composition of the plasma films, especially N/C atomic ratio, showed a monomer dependence but no rf power dependence. The plasma films contained amide and amino groups, and ketene-imine and conjugated — C = N — structures as well as cyano groups as nitrogen functionalities, and carbonyl and carboxyl groups as oxygen functionalities. For the preparation of plasma films with cyano groups, compounds with more than two cyano groups themselves are not suitable as monomers. The operation of plasma polymerization under mild plasma conditions at low rf power and in no oxygen atmosphere is favorable for the preparation of plasma films with cyano groups. © 1992 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. 相似文献
