We have presented theoretical and experimental investigations of nanosecond (ns) deep-ultraviolet (DUV) 177.3 nm radiation by means of second harmonic generation (SHG) from a frequency-tripled Nd:YAG laser (355 nm, 49 ns and 10 kHz) in KBe2BO3F2 (KBBF) nonlinear crystal for the first time. A DUV KBBF-SHG numerical model, accounting for linear absorption, pump depletion, beam spatial birefringent walk-off and diffraction, is performed in the Gaussian approximation of spatial and temporal profiles. In the experiment, a maximum average output power of 14.1 mW at 177.3 nm was obtained. The dependence of 177.3 nm output power on the 355 nm pump power was simulated. The calculated results are in good agreement with the measured data. We used the model further to investigate the optical conversion efficiency, pulse width, beam spatial intensity profile and beam quality factor of the generated 177.3 nm light, in particular the effect of beam birefringent walk-off.  相似文献

We report a detailed experimental study of the fluctuations of acoustoelectric (AE) current induced by surface acoustic waves in a shallow-etched quantum point contact defined in a GaAs/AlxGa1?xAs heterostructure at 1.7 K. We observe that current fluctuations between two AE current plateaus are more obvious than those at the plateaus. Switching the metastable states of the impurities is considered as the physical origin of the current fluctuations.  相似文献

Complete optical characterization of biological tissue is desirable to develop clinical methods using optical technologies. Particularly, to develop optical clearing methods in biological tissues, it is necessary to know the composition of the tissue, the percentage of each constituent and corresponding refractive indexes. To obtain such information for rat muscle, we used a simple method to characterize tissue constituents for both content percentage and refractive index. The study consisted on measuring mass with a precision weighting scale and the refractive index with an Abbe refractometer during tissue dehydration. With the collected data, we used a theoretical model to calculate the refractive index and percentage for both interstitial fluid and solid part of the rat muscle. The results obtained are in good agreement with data published by other authors, and were considered of vital information for the optical clearing studies that we planned to perform.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider generalized holographic and Ricci dark energy models where the energy densities are given as ρ R =3c 2 M pl2 Rf(H 2/R) and ρ h =3c 2 M pl2 H 2 g(R/H 2), respectively; here f(x), g(y) are positive defined functions of the dimensionless variables H 2/R or R/H 2. It is interesting that holographic and Ricci dark energy densities are recovered or recovered interchangeably when the function f(x)=g(y)≡1 or f(x)=Id and g(y)=Id are taken, respectively (for example f(x),g(x)=1−ε(1−x), ε=0or1, respectively). Also, when f(x)≡xg(1/x) is taken, the Ricci and holographic dark energy models are equivalent to a generalized one. When the simple forms f(x)=1−ε(1−x) and g(y)=1−η(1−y) are taken as examples, by using current cosmic observational data, generalized dark energy models are considered. As expected, in these cases, the results show that they are equivalent (ε=1−η=1.312), and Ricci-like dark energy is more favored relative to the holographic one where the Hubble horizon was taken as an IR cut-off. And the suggested combination of holographic and Ricci dark energy components would be 1.312R−0.312H 2, which is 2.312H2+1.312[(H)\dot]2.312H^{2}+1.312\dot{H} in terms of H 2 and [(H)\dot]\dot{H} .  相似文献

As a member of the 2D group IV monochalcogenides (MX; M = Sn, Ge; X = S, Se), SnS has attracted great interest due to its outstanding optical, electrical, and optoelectronic properties. Especially, SnS nanosheets material have a large absorption coefficient and high photoelectric conversion efficiency, it can be potentially used in optical modulators, saturable absorbers, solar cells, supercapacitors, and other optical devices. However, the nonlinear optical properties of SnS nanosheets and their applications in ultrafast photonics are seldom studied. In this paper, the nonlinear optical properties of SnS nanosheets have been characterized through a dual‐balance detection system, whose modulation depth is 5.8%. More importantly, 105th harmonic soliton molecule based on SnS saturable absorbers has been realized for the first time to the authors’ knowledge. A compact mode‐locked fiber laser with a pulse duration of 1.02 ps and a repetition rate of 459 MHz is realized near 1.5 µm. It is demonstrated that SnS nanosheets have outstanding nonlinear properties and play an extremely important role in the field of ultrafast photonics.  相似文献

This paper investigates bipartite entanglement of a two-qubit system with anisotropic couplings under an inhomogeneous magnetic field. This work is mainly to investigate the characteristics of a Heisenberg XYZ chain and obtains some meaningful results. By the concept of negativity, it finds that the inhomogeneity of magnetic field may induce entanglement and the critical magnetic field is independent of Jz. The inhomogeneous magnetic field can increase the value of critical magnetic field Bc. It also finds that the magnetic field not only suppresses the entanglement but also can induce it to revival for some time.  相似文献

This paper employs a first-principles total-energy method to investigate the theoretical tensile strengths of bcc and fcc Fe systemically. It indicates that the theoretical tensile strengths are shown to be 12.4, 32.7, 27.5~GPa for bcc Fe, and 48.1, 34.6, 51.2~GPa for fcc Fe in the [001], [110] and [111] directions, respectively. For bcc Fe, the [001] direction is shown to be the weakest direction due to the occurrence of a phase transition from ferromagnetic bcc Fe to high spin ferromagnetic fcc Fe. For fcc Fe, the [110] direction is the weakest direction due to the formation of an instable saddle-point `bct structure' in the tensile process. Furthermore, it demonstrates that a magnetic instability will occur under a tensile strain of 14%, characterized by the transition of ferromagnetic bcc Fe to paramagnetic fcc Fe. The results provide a good reference to understand the intrinsic mechanical properties of Fe as a potential structural material in the nuclear fusion Tokamak.  相似文献
