Synthesis and Reactions of 1,6-Dibenzoyl-5H,10H-diimidazo[1,5-a;1',5'-d;]pyrazine-5,10-dione

5,10-Dioxo-5H,10H-diimidazo[1,5-a;1',5'-d]pyrazine-5,10-dicarboxylic acid dichloride in Friedel-Crafts reaction conditions formed with benzene the corresponding 1,6-dibenzoyl derivative 2, which reacted with alcohols and amines to give the keto esters and keto amides of 4(5)-benzoylimidazol-5(4)-carboxylic acids. The reaction of compound 2 with hydrazine gave substituted imidazo[4,5-f]pyridazine, and with o-phenylenediamine gave a derivative of imidazo[4,5-f]-1,4-benzodiazocine - a new heterocyclic system.     

Synthesis,crystal and molecular structure of 2-(3-chloropropyl)-6-methyl-4-phenylquinazoline 3-oxide

The acylation of the syn isomer of the oxime of 2-amino-5-methylbenzophenone with 4-chlorobutyryl chloride gives a mixture of the anti isomer of the 4-chlorobutyryloximine of 2-(4-chlorobutyryl)amino-5-methylbenzophenone and 2-(3-chloropropyl)-6-methyl-4-phenylquinazoline 3-oxide. The crystal and molecular structure of this oxide was established by X-ray diffraction structural analysis. The molecule is planar. Mass spectrometry of macroheterocycles. 1. Mass spectra of isomeric bicyclic crown ethers

The fundamental, fragmentation paths under electron impact of bridged crown ethers and the condensed, bicyclic crown ethers isomeric to them have been established by means of a combination of techniques (DADI, metastable defocusing, high resolution). New synthetic approach to aminoethoxy derivatives of <Emphasis Type="Italic">p</Emphasis>-(<Emphasis Type="Italic">tert</Emphasis>-butyl)calix[4]arene

A new procedure has been proposed for the synthesis of mono- and bis(2-aminoethoxy)-p-(tertbutyl) calix[4]arenes from the corresponding mono- and bis[2-(1,3-dioxoisoindol-2-yl)ethoxy]-p-(tert-butyl)-calix[4]arenes.     

Porphyrins and their derivatives: XXV. Reaction of 2-formyl-5,10,15,20-tetraphenylporphyrin with diazomethane

2-Formyl-5,10,15,20-tetraphenylporphyrin and its copper and zinc complexes react with diazomethane in a mixture chloroform-alcohol providing the corresponding 2-acetyl-and 2-acetonyl derivatives. In a pure chloroform main product of diazomethane reaction with 2-formyl-5,10,15,20-tetraphenylporphyrin is 2-acetyl-5,10,15,20-tetraphenylcyclopropa[b]chlorin.     

Domino reactions in the synthesis of benzothieno[2,3-c]pyridines. New one-pot method of preparing 2-([1]benzothieno-[2,3-c]pyridin-1-yl)benzoic acids and 8,13b-dihydro[1]benzothieno[2',3':3,4]pyrido-[2,1-a]isoindol-5(7?H)-ones

A series of previously unknown 2-([1]benzothieno[2,3-c]pyridin-1-yl)benzoic acids and 8,13b-dihydro-[1]benzothieno[2',3':3,4]pyrido[2,1-a]isoindol-5(7 H)-ones has been synthesized using domino reactions, taking place at the cyclization of 2-[3-oxo-4-(phenylsulfanyl)butyl]-1,3-isoindolinediones in polyphosphoric acid.     

Synthesis, spectral characteristics, and some properties of methylammonium sulfamate monohydrate. A new route to sulfamic acid derivatives

Redox transformations of the products of reactions of the CH₃C(S)NH₂-SO₂-H₂O system components yield methylammonium sulfamate monohydrate [CH₃NH₃]⁺[OSO₂NH₂]^? · H₂O and elemental sulfur. The synthesized compound was characterized by IR, ¹H and ¹³C NMR, and mass spectroscopy and some of its properties were studied.
