We present a simple route for ZnSe nanowire growth in the ablation crater on a ZnSe crystal surface. The crystal wafer, which was horizontally dipped in pure water, was irradiated by femtosecond laser pulses. No furnace, vacuum chamber or any metal catalyst were used in this experiment. The size of the nanowires is about 1-3 μm long and 50-150 nm in diameter. The growth rate is 1-3 μm/s, which is much higher than that achieved with molecular-beam epitaxy and chemical vapor deposition methods. Our discovery reveals a rapid and simple way to grow nanowires on designed micro-patterns, which may have potential applications in microscopic optoelectronics.  相似文献

Subjective and dynamic responses of seated subjects exposed to simultaneous vertical and fore-and-aft sinusoidal whole-body vibration were investigated. The effect of the phase difference between the vertical and the fore-and-aft vibration on the responses was of a particular interest in this study. Fifteen subjects were exposed to dual-axis vibrations at six frequencies (2.5-8 Hz) and at eight phases between the two single-axis components (0-315°). The magnitude of vibration in each axis was constant at 0.7 m s−2 rms. Discomfort caused by vibration was measured by the method of magnitude estimation. The motion of the body were measured at the head and three locations along the spine with accelerometers attached to the body surface. The most significant effect of the phase between the two single-axis components on the discomfort was observed at 5 Hz: about 40% difference in the median discomfort estimate caused by changing the phase. The transmissibilities from vertical seat vibration to vertical motions of the spine varied from 0.5 to 2.0 by changing the phase between the two single-axis components at frequencies from 2.5 to 5 Hz. The effect of the phase observed in the dynamic response was not predicted by the superposition of the responses to each single-axis vibration. The discomfort caused by the dual-axis vibration tended to be correlated better with the combinations of the dynamic responses measured in the two axes than with the dynamic responses in a single axis.  相似文献

The spin-crossover behaviors of mixed-valence iron compounds [FeIIH3L][FeIIIL](NO3)2 (1) and [FeIIH3LMe][FeIIILMe](NO3)2 (2) have been investigated by 57Fe Mössbauer spectroscopy, where H3L is a hexadentate N6 tripod ligand containing three imidazole groups and H3LMe is its 2-methylimidazole derivative. Deconvolution analyses of the Mössbauer spectra revealed that a two-step SCO (LS FeII–LS FeIII→HS FeII–LS FeIII→HS FeII–HS FeIII) proceeds in each compound on elevating the temperature. Compound 2 exhibited lower spin-transition temperatures than 1. “Frozen-in effect” was observed below 120 and 50 K for 1 and 2, respectively.  相似文献

STF是KEK为国际直线对撞机(ILC)建立的试验装置. 在STF中, 数字微波低电平系统用于控制超导腔的RF相位和幅度. 在没有实际腔运行的情况下, 设计了一个基于FPGA技术的实时超导腔模拟器, 用于测试微波低电平系统的硬件和算法. 超导腔的数字控制器用FPGA实现, 其中采用了PI反馈控制和前馈控制算法. 测试表明, 超导腔模拟器和控制器都工作良好, 可用于STF微波低电平系统的进一步开发.  相似文献

An injection-locked pulsed Ti:sapphire laser oscillating at dual wavelengths is demonstrated for the first time to our knowledge. By use of two feedback loops, seeds of two independent master lasers are locked on specific longitudinal modes of a power oscillator, leading to a stable dual-wavelength oscillation over a long time scale. The two injection-locked pulsed outputs completely overlap in time, with spectral purities reaching a Fourier-transform limit. The dual-wavelength oscillation is controlled by the master lasers only, allowing for flexible selectivity of the two wavelengths and full controllability of the relative two-wavelength pulsed energies.  相似文献

In this paper, we describe an induced signal measurement on the human body for developing a high-performance transceiver of an intra-body communication system. It is important to isolate awearable transceiver from an electrical instrument for precise measurement. We have developed a probe system using an optical isolation method including a laser diode, photo-diode, and optical fiber. The probe system can be successfully applied to the precise measurement of a receiving signal power at a wearable transceiver. We verify that the experimental results agree with the simulation results based on our previous channel model of intra-body communication.  相似文献

The purpose of this study was to compare observer interpreted steady-state coherent coronal images and gadolinium-enhanced axial images in terms of the detection and grading of esophageal varices. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and gastrointestinal endoscopy were performed within 2 weeks in 90 patients with chronic liver damage, including 55 with untreated esophageal varices, for periodic screening purposes. Two blinded readers retrospectively reviewed T1- and T2-weighted images with gadolinium-enhanced (gadolinium image set) and steady-state coherent (coherent image set) images. Sensitivity for the detection of esophageal varices was higher (P<.001) in the gadolinium image set (76%) than in the coherent image set (35%); on the other hand, specificity was higher (P<.001) in the coherent image set (91%) than in the gadolinium image set (66%). Furthermore, area under the ROC curve was higher for the gadolinium image set (Az=0.823) than the coherent image set (Az=0.761) (P=.48). Moderate and weak positive correlations with endoscopic grades were found for the gadolinium image (r=0.48, P<.01) and coherent image sets (r=0.34, P=.018). The addition of steady-state coherent imaging to the current routine liver imaging protocol did not improve the detection or grading of esophageal varices, whereas gadolinium-enhanced imaging was found to be potentially valuable. Nevertheless, endoscopy was confirmed to be mandatory in patients with esophageal varices suspected by MRI of the liver.  相似文献

Weakly interacting massive particle (WIMP) is well known to be a good candidate for dark matter, and it is also predicted by many new physics models beyond the standard model at the TeV scale. We found that, if the WIMP is a vector particle (spin-one particle) which is associated with some gauge symmetry broken at the TeV scale, the Higgs mass is often predicted to be 120–125 GeV, which is very consistent with the result of Higgs searches recently reported by ATLAS and CMS Collaborations at the Large Hadron Collider experiment. In this Letter, we consider the vector WIMP using a non-linear sigma model in order to confirm this result as general as possible in a bottom-up approach. Near-future prospects to detect the vector WIMP at both direct and indirect detection experiments of dark matter are also discussed.  相似文献

Transparent SiO2 thin films were selectively fabricated on Si wafer by 157 nm F2 laser in N2/O2 gas atmosphere. The F2 laser photochemically produced active O(1D) atoms from O2 molecules in the gas atmosphere; strong oxidation reaction could be induced to fabricate SiO2 thin films only on the irradiated areas of Si wafer. The oxidation reaction was sensitive to the single pulse fluence of F2 laser. The irradiated areas were swelled and the height was approximately 500-1000 nm at the 205-mJ/cm2 single pulse fluence for 60 min laser irradiation. The fabricated thin films were analytically identified to be SiO2 by the Fourier-transform IR spectroscopy. The SiO2 thin films could be also removed by subsequent chemical etching to fabricate micro-holes 50 nm in depth on Si wafer for microfabrication.  相似文献
