The least squares support vector machines (LS-SVM) was used to model infrared spectral data for TSH hormone secreted by thyroid, which regulates the basal metabolic rate. This model was used for direct estimation of the content of TSH in blood serum samples, and the results were comparable with those obtained with the conventional analytical method based on chemoluminescence methodology. Excellent agreement was observed between the conventional method and the newly developed calibration model based in analysis of spectral data with LS-SVM. The latter has clear advantages, because it is fast and requires no reagent once the measurements were done directly in the serum by using a simple mid-infrared spectrometer in the ATR mode. An important advantage observed in this calibration method based on LS-SVM is the remarkable capacity to avoid overfitting in the model-building step, that is, the developed method is highly robust.  相似文献

A modified method for the quantitative determination of bepridil hydrochloride in human plasma is described. This method is unrelated to chemical methods currently in use. The mobile phase is 50 mM phosphate buffer (pH3.0)-methanol-acetonitrile-triethylamine (57:3:40:1, v/v), and the samples are fractionated on a C8-3 column (150 × 4.6 mm, 5 μm) using a flow rate of 0.9 mL/min. Bepridil was detected by UV spectroscopy at 254 nm. The retention times of bepridil and 1-naphthol were 12.6 min and 7.5 min, respectively; there was no interference originating from human plasma. We confirmed that the bepridil and 1-naphthol peaks were not influenced by the presence of 32 commercial medicines frequently co-administered with bepridil. Additionally, the concentration of bepridil in the plasma of five patients treated with bepridil for atrial fibrillation was measured. These samples were collected just before each dosage of bepridil. Their rhythm and rate control were well maintained. Trough concentrations ranged from 233.9 to 347.4 ng/mL, similar to previously reported values.  相似文献

A two-color interferometer for preformed plasma characterization is developed. We observe the electron density distribution of preformed plasmas on a 5 μm-thick copper target irradiated with a high-intensity Ti:sapphire laser. The two-color interferometer extended the observable electron density region using a fundamental (800 nm) probe beam to cover the lower density region and a second harmonic (400 nm) probe beam to cover the higher density region, simultaneously. This characterization of the electron density distribution of preformed plasmas with femtosecond time resolution significantly contributes to the understanding of high-intensity laser–thin-foil interactions during high-energy electron, ion, and X-ray generation. Generalized two‐dimensional (2D) Fourier transform infrared correlation spectroscopy was used to investigate the effect of the comonomer compositions on the crystallization behavior of two types of biosynthesized random copolymers, poly(hydroxybutyrate‐co‐hydroxyhexanoate) and poly(hydroxybutyrate‐co‐hydroxyvalerate). The carbonyl absorption band around 1730 cm?1 was sensitive to the degree of crystallinity. 2D correlation analysis demonstrated that the 3‐hydroxyhexanoate units preferred to remain in the amorphous phase of the semicrystalline poly(hydroxybutyrate‐co‐hydroxyhexanoate) copolymer, resulting in decreases in the degree of crystallinity and the rate of the crystallization process. The poly(hydroxybutyrate‐co‐hydroxyvalerate) copolymer maintained a high degree of crystallinity when the 3‐hydroxyvalerate fraction was increased from 0 to 25 mol % because of isodimorphism. The crystalline and amorphous absorption bands for the carbonyl bond for this copolymer, therefore, changed simultaneously. © 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Neutron scattering measurements have been made of phonons in a Fe65Ni35 crystal at several temperatures. Marked softening of the [110] acoustic shear modes and a dip in the dispersion relation are found at low temperatures. Above the magnetic ordering temperature Tc, the frequency shift is removed completely, which suggests phonon perturbation by magnetoelastic coupling.  相似文献
