Metal and oxide surface reactions formed by heating in the spectrometer at 300–400° at a vacuum of ca. 10?9 Torr (oil diffusion pumps) were studied. As a result of spectral observations before and after heating, the metals studied were classified into five groups. In the first group, oxide films on the metal surface are easily evaporated because of the high vapour pressure of oxide; in the second, the oxide films are easily reduced in the spectrometer; in the third, the oxide film formed on the metal is reduced but the bulk oxide is not easily reduced; in the fourth, very stable oxide films are formed and the bulk oxide is also stable; and finally in the fifth, the oxide film formed on the metal is apparently reduced, yet the bulk oxide is very stable.  相似文献

Design of spin labels inside for possible molecular spintronics, which contains of 1D spin chain filling single-walled carbon nanotube (SWCNT) with magnetic endohedral fullerenes of (14N@C60)2, 14N@C60 and C59N has been proposed. Electronic structure and magnetic properties of (14N@C60)2-SWCNT, 14N@C60-SWCNT, 14N@C60 and C59N were characterized. Geometrical effect of (14N@C60)2, 14N@C60 and C59N within SWCNT on chemical shift of 13C, principal g-tensor, A-tensor in hfc of nitrogen atom and excited state transition was investigated by ab-initio density functional theory. The magnetic properties would be originated in the spin density distribution with π-electron interaction between encapsulated fullerenes and inner surface on SWCNT and extent of charge transfer.  相似文献

Glass cells play an important role in polarized 3He neutron spin filters. To evaluate the scattering and absorption contribution from glass cells during neutron scattering experiments, we measured small-angle scattering and neutron transmission in GE180 and other glasses. The small-angle neutron scattering measurements revealed that the glasses used for 3He spin filters have acceptably lower scattering: (Q)/=4-7×10−4 cm−1 at Q=0.03-0.12 Å−1. The transmission measurement was performed at J-PARC. Neutron transmission of about 92% through empty GE180 cells was observed over a wide wavelength range 0.014-7.0 Å. To pursue the possibility of being a structural influence on 3He spin relaxation in GE180 glass cells, we performed precise X-ray diffraction measurement using synchrotron radiation at SPring-8. From these measurements, a structural difference was observed among GE180 glasses with different thermal treatments.  相似文献

Diarylethene-bridged peptides were developed to photoregulate biomolecular interactions. The peptides are made up of diarylethene-bridged and DNA-binding regions at their N- and C?termini, respectively. The two regions could be independently designed and combined as desired. The α-helicities of the peptides were photoregulated in on/off or off/on manners, and the manner depended on the positions of two ornithine (Orn) residues for cross-linking reaction at the diarylethene-bridged region. In the case of the on/off manner, when the diarylethene structure adopted the open form on the peptides, the peptides folded into stable α-helices. Upon UV irradiation, the diarylethene moiety isomerized to its closed form to destabilize the helical structures. Quartz crystal microbalance (QCM) analysis showed that the open isomer strongly associated with a target DNA, as compared with the closed one. When the closed-form peptide existing in the DNA complex was irradiated with a fluorescent lamp in the middle of the QCM monitoring, the frequency change (ΔF) was enhanced by the diarylethene photoisomerization.  相似文献

A perfluorinated vinyl ether monomer, 2-bromotetrafluoroethyl trifluorovinyl ether (BrTFF) was grafted into crosslinked poly(tetrafluoroethylene) (cPTFE) films by γ-rays irradiation under different conditions. The irradiation with absorbed doses more than 550 kGy gave the poly(BrTFF) grafted cPTFE membranes with grafting yields of more than 20%. FTIR spectra and SEM-EDS testified that BrTFF was successfully grafted into cPTFE films homogeneously in the film perpendicular direction. TGA analysis of the grafted films indicated that the perfluorinated poly(BrTFF) grafts were phase-separated from the PTFE region due to the crosslinked structure of the cPTFE based film, but the grafted films still had high thermal stability (above 300 °C). DSC measurements showed the decrease of melting temperature, but the increase of both heat of fusion and degree of crystallinity in cPTFE film after grafting. The grafted film, a new kind of perfluorinated polymer with bromine active groups and good mechanical properties, is expected to be modified for new applications.  相似文献

Auger and electron energy-loss spectroscopies (ELS) have been used to study chemical states at the fracture surfaces of iron-phosphorus alloys. The transgranular (TG) and intergranular (IG) fracture planes have similar Auger P LVV transition energies and similar Fe 3p loss energies. These indicate that phosphorus and iron atoms are dispersed atomically in layers segregated at IG planes. The energy separations between the inter-and intra-atomic Auger transition peaks in P LVV show that the TG and IG planes and Fe3P have similar energy separations between the P 3p and Fe 3p levels. The layers segregated at IG planes are estimated to be equivalent to a monolayer, as indicated by the dependence of the loss energy of the valence-conduction-band transition on primary-electron kinetic energy from 200 to 500 eV. The phosphorus concentration in the segregated layers is saturated to ~ 20 at.% above a bulk phosphorus concentration of 2 at.%.  相似文献
