The conditions of synthesis of silicon dioxide particles with a high degree of monodispersity have been investigated. The particles have been synthesized using both the hydrolysis of tetraethoxysilane in the presence of L-arginine and a combination of this technique with the traditional Stöber method. It has been shown that the use of SiO2 particles synthesized by the heterogeneous hydrolysis of tetraethoxysilane in the presence of the amino acid for their further growth according to the Stöber method makes it possible to obtain particles 100 nm and more in size with a narrow size distribution (the deviation of the diameter is less than 3%), a nearly perfect spherical shape, and a smooth surface. 相似文献

The fabrication of the 2D periodic structures in ZnO thin films by magnetron sputtering on the opal matrices was developed. The microstructures were characterized by AFM and SEM. The spontaneous and stimulated emissions of the ZnO layers on opal were studied at N2 laser excitation (λ = 337 nm). The stimulated emission near 397 nm was observed at room temperature from ZnO–opal structure. The threshold of the electron–hole plasma recombination laser process was 300 kW/cm2 for this structure. This threshold is two orders of magnitude smaller of that one for the flat ZnO–SiO2 films owing to DFB resonator effect in 2D structure. 相似文献

The photoluminescence induced in diamond by helium ion implantation into SiC/C nanocomposite samples and their structure revealed by high-resolution transmission electron microscopy have been investigated. It has been found that, apart from crystallites of silicon carbide, graphite, and amorphous carbon, in the structure of the composites there are spherical carbon particles containing concentric graphite-like shells (onion-like particles). It has been established that onion-like particles are formed during high-temperature treatment of SiC/C nanocomposites in the course of their preparation. It has been shown that, after the implantation with the subsequent thermal treatment, nanocomposite samples exhibit a luminescence characteristic of N-V centers in diamonds. The assumption has been made that the diamond crystallites are formed at the center of onion-like particles during high-temperature treatment of the composite. 相似文献

Spontaneous decay rates of atoms into guided modes of an optical nanofiber are found for atomic transitions between the hyperfine structure sublevels. The decay rates are evaluated for the hyperfine structure transitions in Rb atoms. The efficiency of the guided mode excitation by spontaneous decay of the specific hyperfine atomic states is examined for both the fundamental fiber mode HE11 and the higher-order modes TE01, TM01, and HE21. 相似文献

In this study, the possibility to describe the signals scattered by various physical objects such as underlying surfaces of land and sea, the segments of “clear sky,” and processes of various physical natures, such as fluctuations of the refractive index of the troposphere and electromagnetic and acoustic radiation of a lithospheric nature, by enclosed semi-Markov processes is investigated. This approach makes it possible to construct statistic models for a broad class of signals and processes. We propose measuring the size of particles suspended in a liquid by light beating spectroscopy of scattered light using an optical fiber probe inserted into a medium and consisting of three multimode optical fibers. One of them is used to transmit light, the other two — to transmit scattered light to a unit providing its spatial coherence and further to a photodetector. In very turbid media, the multiple-to-single light-scattering spectral line width ratio is determined by the ratio of line widths in two collecting optical fibers.
