Stable aliphatic bromonium ylides (RfSO2)2C--Br+C6H4-p-CF3 (Rf = CF3, CF3(CF2)3) have been synthesized and structurally characterized for the first time. X-ray crystallographic analyses indicated a ylide structure with an sp2 hybridization of the ylide carbanions and with little double-bond character for the ylidic bond. The bromonium ylides selectively undergo transfer of the aryl group to nitrogen heterocycles, such as pyridines, yielding N-arylpyridinium salts. This is in a marked contrast to the reaction of the iodonium ylides, which produces pyridinium ylides through transylidations.  相似文献

We report on the oligosaccharide recognition through noncovalent interactions in water based on a unique supramolecular homoduplex-to-heteroduplex transformation of the oligoresorcinol nonamer as a fully artificial receptor. The oligoresorcinol forms a double helix in water, which unravels and entwines upon complexation with specific oligosaccharides with a particular chain length and glucosidic linkage pattern, thus generating the heteroduplex with an excess one-handed helical conformation that can be readily monitored and further quantified by absorption, circular dichroism, and NMR spectroscopies.  相似文献

In the presence of a catalytic amount of sodium methoxide, sym-dimethoxytetramethyldisilane was converted into α,ω-dimethoxypermethylpolysilanes, MeO(SiMe2)nOMe where n ? 3, at room temperature. On the other hand, similar treatment of the disilane in THF solution gave cyclic polysilanes, (Me2Si)n where n = 5–7. Decomposition of the disilane in the presence of diphenylacetylene afforded a trisilacyclopentene derivative under similar conditions. This compound was obtained also by the reaction between α,ω-dimethoxypermethylpolysilanes and diphenylacetylene in the presence of sodium methoxide. These cyclic products most likely were formed via permethyl polysilyl anion intermediates derived from α,ω-dimethoxypermethylpolysilanes. Also, the formation of α,ω-dimethoxypermethylpolysilanes could be elucidated in terms of the mechanism involving the base-assisted, concerted nucleophilic substitution or stepwise substitution by silyl anions, rather than the successive dimethylsilylene (Me2Si:) insertion reaction.  相似文献

Dynamics of ice nucleation on water repellent surfaces   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
Prevention of ice accretion and adhesion on surfaces is relevant to many applications, leading to improved operation safety, increased energy efficiency, and cost reduction. Development of passive nonicing coatings is highly desirable, since current antiicing strategies are energy and cost intensive. Superhydrophobicity has been proposed as a lead passive nonicing strategy, yet the exact mechanism of delayed icing on these surfaces is not clearly understood. In this work, we present an in-depth analysis of ice formation dynamics upon water droplet impact on surfaces with different wettabilities. We experimentally demonstrate that ice nucleation under low-humidity conditions can be delayed through control of surface chemistry and texture. Combining infrared (IR) thermometry and high-speed photography, we observe that the reduction of water-surface contact area on superhydrophobic surfaces plays a dual role in delaying nucleation: first by reducing heat transfer and second by reducing the probability of heterogeneous nucleation at the water-substrate interface. This work also includes an analysis (based on classical nucleation theory) to estimate various homogeneous and heterogeneous nucleation rates in icing situations. The key finding is that ice nucleation delay on superhydrophobic surfaces is more prominent at moderate degrees of supercooling, while closer to the homogeneous nucleation temperature, bulk and air-water interface nucleation effects become equally important. The study presented here offers a comprehensive perspective on the efficacy of textured surfaces for nonicing applications.  相似文献

Planar-chiral palladium complexes {[[N,N'-[1,4-butanediylbis(oxy-7,1-naphthalenediyl)]bis(2-pyridinecarboxamidato)](2-)-κN(1),κN(1)',κN(2),κN(2)']palladium (PdL(4)) and [[2,2'-[1,4-butanediylbis[[(oxy-7,1-naphthalenediyl)imino]methyl]]dipyrrolato](2-)-κN(1),κN(1)',κN(2),κN(2)']palladium (PdL(5))} were synthesized from achiral tetradentate ligands N,N'-[1,4-butanediylbis(oxy-7,1-naphthalenediyl)]bis(2-pyridinecarboxamide) (H(2)L(4)) and N,N'-bis[(1H-pyrrol-2-yl)methylidene]-7,7'-(1,4-butanediyldioxy)bis(1-naphthalenamine) (H(2)L(5)) bearing two dissymmetric bidentate units at both ends and a Pd(II) ion, respectively. The palladium complexes were crystallized in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/n with the unit cell parameters a = 16.5464(6) ?, b = 11.3534(4) ?, c = 17.6697(7) ?, β = 115.5300(10)°, and Z = 4 for PdL(4) and a = 17.2271(8) ?, b = 10.1016(5) ?, c = 17.9361(9) ?, β = 105.6310(10)°, and Z = 4 for PdL(5). The planar-chiral structures of PdL(4) and PdL(5) were confirmed by single-crystal X-ray analyses, resulting in the fact that the crystals were racemic mixtures. The racemic mixtures were successfully resolved by using chiral high-performance liquid-chromatography techniques. Racemizations of the complexes were found to be drastically dependent on the arrangement of the charged or uncharged metal-binding N atoms of the ligands.  相似文献

A high-pressure reaction yielded the fully occupied tetragonal tungsten bronze K3W5O15 (K0.6WO3). The terminal phase shows an unusual transport property featuring slightly negative temperature-dependence in resistivity (dρ/dT<0) and a large Wilson ratio of RW=3.2. Such anomalous metallic behavior possibly arises from the low-dimensional electronic structure with a van Hove singularity at the Fermi level and/or from enhanced magnetic fluctuations by geometrical frustration of the tungsten sublattice. The asymmetric nature of the tetragonal tungsten bronze KxWO3-K0.6−yBayWO3 phase diagram implies that superconductivity for x≤0.45 originates from the lattice instability because of potassium deficiency. A cubic perovskite KWO3 phase was also identified as a line phase—in marked contrast to NaxWO3 and LixWO3 with varying quantities of x (<1). This study presents a versatile method by which the solubility limit of tungsten bronze oxides can be extended.  相似文献

The excited state characteristics of phenylene (Ph)-bridged periodic mesoporous organosilica (PMO) powders with crystal-like and amorphous wall structures are investigated. Crystal-like Ph-PMO has a molecular ordering of the bridging organic moieties with intervals of 0.76 and 0.44 nm parallel and perpendicular to the mesochannel direction, respectively, whereas amorphous Ph-PMO has no molecular-level periodicity in the wall. Fluorescence from the exciton and excimer of the Ph moieties and the defect center in the silicate network were detected at room temperature, but fluorescence from the excimer and the defect center were not detected at 77 K for crystal-like Ph-PMO dispersed in a methanol/ethanol mixed solvent. The decay curve of the exciton fluorescence of crystal-like Ph-PMO at room temperature was analyzed successfully using a one-dimensional diffusion model quenched by the defect center and the excimer site. The results were discussed in comparison with those for the crystal-like biphenylene-bridged PMO reported in the preceding paper (Yamanaka et al., Phys. Chem. Chem. Phys., 2010, 12, 11688-11696). The existence of excited states with various conformations including ground state dimers or aggregates of the Ph moieties was suggested for amorphous Ph-PMO. It was clearly apparent that the differences in the excited state dynamics reflected the differences in the molecular-level structure in the wall.  相似文献

Tautomeric structures of the title compounds in neutral and acidic media are discussed. In neutral solutions 3 and 4 exist as structure A and E, respectively. In weakly acidic methanol 3 exists as monocation H, whereas in aqueous solution as monocation G. In both strongly acidic aqueous and methanolic solutions 3 exists as dication K. On the other hand, 4 exists in weakly acidic and strongly acidic media as monocation L and dication M, respectively. The above conclusion can be extended to the 6-phenyl and 6-(3′-indolyl) derivatives of 3 as well as Cypridina luceferin (1) in aqueous and methanolic solutions.  相似文献

The vapochromic single-crystal-to-single-crystal (SCSC) transformation of a highly luminescent PtII complex bearing an N-heterocyclic carbene [Pt(CN)2(tBu-impy)] (tBu-impyH+=1-tert-butyl-3-(2-pyridyl)-1H-imidazolium) is reported. The trihydrate form of the complex, which exhibits blue 3MMLCT emission owing to weak Pt⋅⋅⋅Pt interactions, changed its luminescence color from blue to yellowish-green upon the desorption of water molecules while keeping the high emission quantum yield of more than 0.45. Variable-temperature and continuous in-situ tracking of single-crystal X-ray diffraction measurements revealed that the SCSC transformation proceeds reversibly by the release and reabsorption of water molecules, thereby changing the stacked structure slightly. As a result, the dynamics of vapor-induced SCSC transformation were elucidated: that the anhydrous form returned to the original trihydrate form in a two-step process under a water vapor atmosphere. In addition, the PtII complex exhibited a similar SCSC response accompanied by a luminescence color change in the presence of methanol vapor, while being inactive toward ethanol vapor.  相似文献
