Two Mn(II) complexes are isolated and X-ray characterized, namely, cis-[(L(2))Mn(II)(Cl)(2)] (1) and [(L(3))Mn(II)Cl(OH(2))](ClO(4)) (2(ClO(4))), where L(2) and L(3) are the well-known tetradentate N,N'-dimethyl-N,N'-bis(2-pyridylmethyl)ethane-1,2-diamine and N,N'-dimethyl-N,N'-bis(2-pyridylmethyl)propane-1,3-diamine ligands, respectively. The crystal structure reveals that whereas the ligand L(2) is in the cis-alpha conformation in complex 1, the ligand L(3) is in the more unusual cis-beta conformation in 2. EPR spectra are recorded on frozen solutions for both complexes and are characteristic of Mn(II) species. Electrochemical behaviors are investigated on acetonitrile solution for both complexes and show that cation 2 exists as closely related Mn(II) species in equilibrium. For both complexes exhaustive bulk electrolyses of acetonitrile solution are performed at oxidative potential in various experimental conditions. In the presence of 2,6-lutidine and after elimination of chloride ligands, the formation of the di-mu-oxo mixed-valent complexes [(L(2))Mn(III)(mu-O)(2)Mn(IV)(L(2))](3+) (3a) and [(L(3))Mn(III)(mu-O)(2)Mn(IV)(L(3))](3+) (4) is confirmed by UV-vis and EPR spectroscopies and cyclic voltammetry. In addition crystals of 4(ClO(4))(3) were isolated, and the X-ray structure reveals the cis-alphaconformation of L(3). In the absence of 2,6-lutidine and without elimination of the exogenous chloride ions, the electrochemical oxidation of 1 leads to the formation of the mononuclear Mn(III) complex, namely, [(L(2))Mn(III)(Cl)(2)](+) (5), as confirmed by UV-vis as well as parallel mode EPR spectroscopy and cyclic voltammetry. In the same conditions, the electrochemical oxidation of complex 2 is more intricate, and a thorough analysis of EPR spectra establishes the formation of the binuclear mono-mu-oxo mixed-valent [(L(3))ClMn(III)(mu-O)Mn(IV)Cl(L(3))](3+) (6) complexes. Electrochemical conversion of Mn(II) complexes into mixed-valent Mn(2)(III,IV) oxo-bridged complexes in the presence of 2,6-lutidine is discussed. The role of the chloride ligands as well as that of L(3) in the building of oxo bridges is discussed. Differences in behavior between L(2) and L(3) are commented on.  相似文献

Because organotin compounds (OTC) are widely used in many fields of activity, they have become an ubiquitous environmental presence. The presence of organotins in the environment impacts upon food safety, making it important to monitor the levels of organotin pesticides in fruits and vegetables. Nevertheless, only a few studies have been published on organotin speciation in plants. The objective of the present study was to evaluate and optimise a specific procedure based on pressurised solvent extraction (PSE) that is suitable for monitoring organotin content in vegetables. In ASE, solvents are used at elevated temperatures and pressures to increase the rate and efficiency of the extraction process. The results from this procedure were compared to those from the technique usually employed, solid/liquid extraction (SLE) performed in an acidic solvent by mechanical shaking. Three extracting solutions were tested—methanol, ethyl acetate and a mixture of methanol and ethyl acetate—and the mixture was found to give the most quantitative results while preserving the speciation. French bean and lettuce leaves as well as potato tubers were used as the plant materials. These vegetables were considered because they are the vegatables consumed in the most quantities in Europe. The study focuses on trisubstituted OTCs, which are the most toxic tin species. The samples were spiked with four trisubstituted organotins: tributyltin (TBT), triphenyltin (TPhT), tricyclohexyltin (TcHexT) and trioctyltin (TOcT). The influence of the pressure and the temperature of the PSE on the quantitativity of the process and on species preservation was evaluated using the experimental design methodology. The optimised PSE allowed detection limits down to 1–2 ng (Sn) g–1 to be reached. These are higher than those obtained by SLE (0.1–1 ng (Sn) g–1). Although the repeatability is similar for both PSE and SLE (2–12% for triorganotin compounds), this appears to be highly time-dependent in the case of SLE. Comparison with SLE confirms that PSE is an interesting tool for vegetable analysis considering the satisfactory OTC preservation and repeatability obtained for a relatively short extraction duration (only 15 min against 2–12 h for SLE).  相似文献

This stability of Sb(III) and Sb(V) species was studied during single extraction from soils by water. EDTA, diluted H2SO4 and H3PO4, and oxalic acid/oxalate solutions, with and without ascorbic acid, were used as stabilizing reagent of both Sb species. Antimony redox speciation in soil extracts was performed by selective hydride generation-atomic fluorescence spectrometry. Simulated extraction procedures (without soil) showed that, except in oxalate medium, Sb(III) was oxidized to Sb(V), and this reaction was avoided with ascorbic acid. Recovery studies from a spiked agricultural soil showed that no oxidation but sorption of Sb(III) occurred during the extraction process in water and H2SO4 medium, and quantitative oxidation in EDTA and oxalate medium. With ascorbic acid, this oxidation was totally avoided in EDTA and partially avoided in oxalate solution. A new sequential extraction procedure was proposed and applied to the fractionation and redox speciation of antimony in agricultural soils, using EDTA + ascorbic acid, pH 7 (available under complexing and moderately reducible conditions); oxalic acid/oxalate + ascorbic acid (extractable in reducible conditions) and HNO3 + HCl + HF (residual fraction). The proposed extraction scheme can provide information about the availability and mobility of antimony redox species in agricultural soils.  相似文献

Resistant starch (RS) is the sum of starch and products of starch degradation not absorbed in the small intestine of healthy individuals. There are a number of RS with different characteristics which may have a different fate in the colon. As a consequence, all RS should not be considered equivalent as far as physiological properties are concerned; indeed, they may have a different impact on colonic health. This statement may explain part of the apparent contradictions in the literature on RS and cancer or inflammatory disease prevention. RS is fermented in the large intestine into short-chain fatty acids and, among those, butyrate, which is recognized as the main nutrient of the colonocyte. This fermentation pattern seems to be responsible for most of the effects of RS on colonic health. Another important property is linked to its ability to lower colonic pH, which is usually considered as beneficial for mineral biovailability in the colon or cancer prevention. Due to their fate in the digestive tract, RS materials do not seem to have any significant impact on glucose absorption or metabolism. On the contrary, they may have a hypocholesterolemic effect, but available information is contradictory.  相似文献

The optimisation of ICPMS collision/reaction cell conditions for the simultaneous analysis of arsenic and selenium is described. A mixture of 3.8 mL min−1 of H2 and 0.5 mL min−1 of He was found to be suitable for the removal of both ArAr+ and ArCl+ interferences. Detection limits down to 30 ng (element) L−1 in total analysis, and between 81 and 230 ng (element) L−1 in speciation analysis were achieved in chloride matrix (1 g L−1 NaCl). After validation, the method was applied to commercially available mineral waters.  相似文献

Dissolution of [UO2(OTf)2](1) in anhydrous thf, dme or py led to the formation of the complexes [UO2(OTf)2(thf)3](2), [UO2(OTf)2(dme)](3) and [UO2(OTf)2(py)3](4), respectively. Compounds 2 and 4 are neutral monomers in the solid state as well as the chloride [UO2Cl2(py)3](5) which was prepared in a similar way as for from the dimer [[UO2Cl2(thf)2]2]. Addition of 4 equivalents of triphenylphosphine oxide (tppo) to 1 afforded, in pyridine, the dicationic species [UO2(tppo)4][OTf]2 (6). The bi- or terdentate nitrogen molecules 2,2'-bipy, phen or terpy reacted with 1 in acetonitrile or pyridine to give [UO2(OTf)2(bipy)2](7), [UO2(phen)3][OTf]2(8), [UO2(OTf)2(terpy)](9) and [UO2(terpy)2][OTf]2(10), respectively. The hydroxide compound [[UO2(OH)(terpy)]2][OTf]2(11) was obtained by hydrolysis in air of 1 in a mixture of acetonitrile and ethanol in the presence of terpyridine. The X-ray crystal structures of , and reveal a novel coordination geometry for the uranyl ion, the uranium atom being in a rhombohedral environment; the six coordinating ligands atoms of the [UO2]2+ ion are separated into two parallel and staggered equilateral triangles and the UO2 axis is perpendicular to these triangles, passing through their centre. The structures of the mono(terpy) complexes 9 and 11 show the uranium atoms in a distorted pentagonal bipyramidal configuration with the nitrogen atom of the central pyridine ring of the terpy ligand significantly displaced from the equatorial plane.  相似文献

The recent publication by Matsumoto1 of a synthesis of Coleon U2(1) prompts us to present our own preparation of this poly-hydroxy diterpene as the tri-O-methyl (12a) and tetra-O-methyl ethers (12b). In a previous communication3 we outlined our approach which is aimed at several similar natural products such as Coleon C4 (1b), Lycoxanthol5 (2), etc. and differs considerably from that of the Japanese group. Formally at least, the two syntheses start with the same material, (+) ferruginol methyl ether 5a. In our case the latter was prepared by recorded methods from methyl O-methyl podocarpate after introducing the iso-propyl sidechain6 (→4), transforming the C.4 methoxycarbonyl residue to a methyl7 (→5a, ferruginol methyl ether) which was oxidised at the benzylic position of the B ring to give sugiol methyl ether 5b.  相似文献

The combination of the copper-catalyzed alkyne-azide cycloaddition (CuAAC) reaction with sol–gel processing enables the versatile preparation of sol–gel materials under different shapes with targeted functionalities through a diversity-oriented approach. In this account, the development of the CuAAC reaction under anhydrous conditions for the synthesis of sol–gel precursors and for the assembling of magnetic nanoparticles on self-assembled monolayers is related, as well as the use of the classical CuAAC methodologies for the functionalization of mesoporous silica nanoparticles and microdots arrays. Coupling CuAAC and Sol–Gel will result in simplified preparations of multifunctional materials with controlled morphologies.  相似文献
