The aim of the study was to evaluate the effect of the addition of Fagopyrum esculentum Moench buckwheat sprouts modified with the addition of Saccharomyces cerevisiae var. boulardii to an atherogenic diet on the metabolism of sterols and fatty acids in rats. It was noticed in the study that the group fed with modified sprouts (HFDPRS) had a greater amount of sterols by 75.2%, compared to the group fed on an atherogenic diet (HFD). The content of cholesterol in the liver and feces was lower in the HFDPRS group than the HFD group. In the serum of the HFDPRS group, a more significant amount of the following acids was observed: C18:2 (increase by 13.5%), C20:4 (increase by 15.1%), and C22:6 (increase by 13.1%), compared to the HFDCS group. Regarding the biochemical parameters, it was noted that the group fed the diet with the addition of probiotic-rich sprouts diet had lower non-HDL, LDL-C and CRP ratios compared to the group fed the high-fat diet. The obtained results indicate that adding modified buckwheat sprouts to the diet by adding the probiotic strain of the yeast may have a significant impact on the metabolism of the indicated components in the organism. 相似文献

The degradation of 2-chlorophenol and of the two azo dyes acid orange 8 and acid red 1 in aqueous solution was investigated kinetically under sonolysis at 20 kHz and under photocatalysis in the presence of titanium dioxide particles, as well as under simultaneous sonolysis and photocatalysis, i.e. sonophotocatalysis. The influence on the degradation and mineralisation rates of the initial substrate concentration and of the photocatalyst amount was systematically investigated to ascertain the origin of the synergistic effect observed between the two degradation techniques. The evolution of hydrogen peroxide during kinetic runs was also monitored. Small amounts of Fe(III) were found to affect both the adsorption equilibria on the semiconductor and the degradation paths. Ultrasound may modify the rate of photocatalytic degradation by promoting the deaggregation of the photocatalyst, by inducing the desorption of organic substrates and degradation intermediates from the photocatalyst surface and, mainly, by favouring the scission of the photocatalytically and sonolytically produced H(2)O(2), with a consequent increase of oxidising species in the aqueous phase. 相似文献

In this paper, a novel Double Intuitionistic Fuzzy Synthetic Measure (DIFSM), based on intuitionistic fuzzy values for handling multi-criteria decision-making problems used to rank alternatives, is presented. In the studies, intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IFSs) represented uncertain, imprecise information or human judgment. The intuitionistic fuzzy sets can also reflect the approval, rejection, and hesitation of decision-makers. The degrees of satisfiability and non-satisfiability and uncertainty of each alternative with respect to a set of criteria are described by membership functions, non-membership functions, and hesitancy indexes, respectively. The aggregation algorithm DIFSM is inspired by Hellwig’s method based on two reference points: ideal point (pattern) and anti-ideal point (anti-pattern), measuring distances between the alternative and ideal point and distance between the ideal and anti-ideal point. The proposed methods take into consideration the entropy-based weights of criteria. An illustrative example is given to demonstrate the practicality and effectiveness of the proposed approach. Additionally, the comparative analysis results, using the DIFSM and the Intuitionistic Fuzzy TOPSIS-based framework, are presented. 相似文献

In this work, the thickness of the gold leaf applied in the Manueline foral charter of Murça (illuminated in 1512) will be determined using X‐ray fluorescence. In the frontispiece of the Manueline foral charter of Murça, the capital D was gilded using a gold leaf over a priming made of lead white. The characteristic lines of Pb (namely Lα and Lβ), although attenuated in the Au layer, are still visible in the X‐ray fluorescence spectra. By determining the intensity ratio Lα/Lβ and comparing it with the ratio for an infinitely thick sample, the thickness of the attenuating material can be determined. Using this methodology, the thickness of the gold leaf applied in the charter of Murça was estimated as 1.6 µm. Copyright © 2013 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd. 相似文献

Well‐defined thermoresponsive polymers obtained by the atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) of short oligo(ethylene glycol) methyl ether methacrylates (MEOnMA, n = 2, 3, or 8) with small ratios of a thiolated comonomer, 2‐(acetylthio)ethylmethacrytale, can replace the hydrophobic trioctylphosphine oxide (TOPO) capping of CdSe quantum dots (QDs). After this facile ligand exchange, the mild hydrolysis of the acetylthiol group into thiol is the key to enhance the QD luminescence. However, the length of the ethylene glycol side chain is critical for the success of the functionalization; it is established that the shortest MEO2MA‐based copolymers result in a compact coating and a highest quantum yield (up to a factor of 6) when compared with that of CdSe@TOPO in dichloromethane. In addition, the amphiphilic character of the copolymer allows the CdSe@P(MEOnMA‐co‐SEMA) nanohybrids to disperse in water. On the other hand, the residual ionizable thiol groups do not get attached to the QD surface, cause that the lower critical solubility temperature of the polymer depends on pH as well. Thus, at acidic pH, an abrupt increase in the luminescence emission accompanies the polymer collapse, which establishes the promise of these hybrids as temperature/pH nanosensors and targeted drug delivery. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
