A proper edge colouring of a graph G is neighbour-distinguishing provided that it distinguishes adjacent vertices by sets of colours of their incident edges.

We develop a general study of ergodic properties of extensions of measure preserving dynamical systems. These extensions are
given by cocycles (called here Rokhlin cocycles) taking values in the group of automorphisms of a measure space which represents
the fibers. We use two different approaches in order to study ergodic properties of such extensions. The first approach is
based on properties of mildly mixing group actions and the notion of complementary algebra. The second approach is based on
spectral theory of unitary representations of locally compact Abelian groups and the theory of cocycles taking values in such
groups. Finally, we examine the structure of self-joinings of extensions.
We partially answer a question of Rudolph on lifting mixing (and multiple mixing) property to extensions and answer negatively
a question of Robinson on lifting Bernoulli property. We also shed new light on some earlier results of Glasner and Weiss
on the class of automorphisms disjoint from all weakly mixing transformations.
Answering a question asked by Thouvenot we establish a relative version of the Foiaş—Stratila theorem on Gaussian—Kronecker
dynamical systems.

Dealing with infinite iterated function systems we introduce and develop the ergodic theory of Hölder systems of functions similarly as in [HU] and [HMU]. In the context of conformal infinite iterated function systems we prove the volume lemma for the Hausdorff dimension of the projection onto the limit set of a shift invariant measure. This can be considered as a Billingsley type result. Our cenral goal is to demonstrate the appearance of the "singularity-absolute continuity" dichotomy for equilibrium states of Hölder systems of functions which has been observed in [PUZ,I] and [PUZ,II] (see also [DU1] and [DU2]) in the setting of rational functions of the Riemann sphere. 相似文献

We study finitely generated expanding semigroups of rational maps with overlaps on the Riemann sphere. We show that if a d-parameter family of such semigroups satisfies the transversality condition, then for almost every parameter value the Hausdorff dimension of the Julia set is the minimum of 2 and the zero of the pressure function. Moreover, the Hausdorff dimension of the exceptional set of parameters is estimated. We also show that if the zero of the pressure function is greater than 2, then typically the 2-dimensional Lebesgue measure of the Julia set is positive. Some sufficient conditions for a family to satisfy the transversality conditions are given. We give non-trivial examples of families of semigroups of non-linear polynomials with the transversality condition for which the Hausdorff dimension of the Julia set is typically equal to the zero of the pressure function and is less than 2. We also show that a family of small perturbations of the Sierpinski gasket system satisfies that for a typical parameter value, the Hausdorff dimension of the Julia set (limit set) is equal to the zero of the pressure function, which is equal to the similarity dimension. Combining the arguments on the transversality condition, thermodynamical formalisms and potential theory, we show that for each a∈C with |a|≠0,1, the family of small perturbations of the semigroup generated by {z2,az2} satisfies that for a typical parameter value, the 2-dimensional Lebesgue measure of the Julia set is positive. 相似文献

Comparison of molecular structures in order to identify their similarity is an important step in solving various problems derived from computational biology, like structure alignment and modelling, motif search or clustering. Thus, there is a constant need for the development of good measures to determine distances between the structures and tools to display these distances in an easily interpretable form. In the paper we present MCQ4Structures, a new method and tool for structural similarity computation based on molecule tertiary structure representation in torsional angle space. We discuss its unique features as compared with the other measures, including RMSD and LGA, and we show its experimental use in comparison of a number of 3D structures as well as evaluation of models predicted within RNA-Puzzles contest.
