Beam deflection due to axial channeling in a silicon crystal bent along the 111 axis was observed with 400 GeV/c protons at the CERN Super Proton Synchrotron. The condition for doughnut scattering of protons by the atomic strings of the crystal was attained. Such a condition allowed one to observe a beam deflection of 50 murad with about 30% efficiency. The contribution of hyperchanneled states of protons to the observed beam deflection was less than 2% according to simulation results.  相似文献

The influence of various initial magnetizations m0 and structural defects on the nonequilibrium critical behavior of the two-dimensional Ising model is numerically simulated by Monte Carlo methods. Based on analysis of the time dependence of magnetization and the two-time dependences of autocorrelation function and dynamic susceptibility, we revealed the influence of logarithmic corrections and the crossover phenomena of percolation behavior on the nonequilibrium characteristics and the critical exponents. Violation of the fluctuation–dissipation theorem is studied, and the limiting fluctuation–dissipation ratio is calculated for the case of high-temperature initial state. The influence of various initial states on the limiting fluctuation–dissipation ratio is investigated. The nonequilibrium critical dynamics of weakly disordered systems with spin concentrations p ≥ 0.9 is shown to belong to the universality class of the nonequilibrium critical behavior of the pure model and to be characterized by the same critical exponents and the same limiting fluctuation–dissipation ratios. The nonequilibrium critical behavior of systems with p ≤ 0.85 demonstrates that the universal characteristics of the nonequilibrium critical behavior depend on the defect concentration and the dynamic scaling is violated, which is related to the influence of the crossover effects of percolation behavior.  相似文献

We have developed a peak deconvolution strategy that is applicable to the full mass range of a time-of-flight (TOF) spectrum. This strategy involves resampling a spectrum to create a time series that has equal peak widths (in time) across the entire spectrum, and then using the deconvolution filters we have previously described. We use this technique to deconvolve the protein mass spectra for blood serum and cell lysates acquired on three separate TOF instruments. Following deconvolution, we resolve spectral structures consistent with expected events such as multiply charged ions, matrix adducts and post-translational protein modifications. The deconvolution procedure produces a 40% improvement in the resolution and enhanced experimental sensitivity over the full length of the linear TOF record, up to m/z 150 000. This approach is particularly appropriate for automated data analysis and peak detection in dense TOF spectra.  相似文献

It has been shown by atomic adsorption spectroscopy that the active center of the molecule of the carboxypeptidase ofStreptomyces griseus contains 1 zinc atom and that of the aminopeptidase ofAspergillus oryzae 1 cobalt atom. The latter was also confirmed by the ESR method. In addition to the cobalt, 0.3 g-atom of strongly bound zinc, upon the pressure of which the enzymatic activity does not depend, has been found in the aminopeptidase.  相似文献

We have grown single crystals of the psuedo-one-dimensional compound Sr3CuIrO6, a K4CdCl6-derived monoclinic structure with Cu-Ir chains along the [101] direction. We present the ac and dc magnetization behavior of the single crystals in comparison with that of the polycrystalline form reported earlier. There is a distinct evidence for at least two magnetic transitions, at 5 K (T 1) and 19 K (T 2), with different relative magnitudes in the single and polycrystals. The low temperature magnetic relaxation behavior of both the forms is found to be widely different, exhibiting unexpected time dependence.  相似文献

We establish spectral expansions of tensor-valued homogeneous and isotropic random fields in terms of stochastic integrals with respect to orthogonal scattered random measures previously known only for the case of tensor rank 0. The fields under consideration take values in the 3-dimensional Euclidean space \({E^3}\) and in the space \({\mathsf{S}^2(E^3)}\) of symmetric rank 2 tensors over \({E^3}\). We find a link between the theory of random fields and the theory of finite-dimensional convex compact sets. These random fields furnish stepping-stone for models of rank 1 and rank 2 tensor-valued fields in continuum physics, such as displacement, velocity, stress, strain, providing appropriate conditions (such as the governing equation or positive-definiteness) are imposed.  相似文献

A Monte Carlo study of the specific features of the nonequilibrium critical behavior has been performed for the two-dimensional “pure” and structurally disordered Ising models in the course of their evolution from the low-temperature initial state at spin concentrations p = 1.0, 0.9, and 0.8. It is shown for the first time that the pinning of domain walls by structural defects leads to the anomalously strong slowing down in the evolution of the autocorrelation function characterized by the superaging effect with exponents μ = 6.25(5) and μ = 6.75(5) for the model with the spin concentrations p = 0.9 and 0.8, respectively. The pure model exhibits the conventional aging with the exponent μ = 1. It is found that the superaging effects in structurally disordered systems lead to vanishing of the limiting fluctuation?dissipation ratio X, whereas X = 0.751(24) for the pure model.  相似文献

The effect of different initial values m0 of magnetization and structural defects on the nonequilibrium critical behavior of the 3D Ising model have been analyzed numerically using the Monte Carlo method. Analysis of the two-time dependences of the autocorrelation function and dynamic susceptibility has revealed a substantial influence of the initial states on the aging effects that are characterized by anomalous retardation of relaxation and correlation in the system upon an increase in the waiting time. We have studied the violations of the fluctuation–dissipation theorem and calculated the limiting fluctuation–dissipation ratio. It is shown that in the nonequilibrium critical behavior of the 3D Ising model, two universality subclasses corresponding to the evolution of the system from the high-temperature (with m0 = 0) and low-temperature (with m0 = 1) initial states with the values of the limiting fluctuation–dissipation ratio typical of these states can be singled out.  相似文献
