The strength functions b(E3, ω) are calculated, and the positions and widths of giant octupole resonances in deformed nuclei are found. It is shown that the giant octupole isoscalar resonances have energies (19–20) MeV for the rare-earth nuclei and (17–18) MeV for the actinides and the widths (5–7) MeV. The energies of the giant octupole isovector resonances are defined by the value of the isovector constant κ(3)1.  相似文献

This paper reports on the results of the investigation into the intensities of the f-f transitions of Nd3+, Er3+, and Tm3+ ions in calcium niobium gallium garnet (CNGG) crystals. The values of the oscillator strengths and line strengths obtained for hypersensitive transitions and the intensity parameters Ω t of the rare-earth ions in the CNGG crystals are compared with the corresponding quantities for crystals of other garnets and some oxide and fluoride crystals. The assumption is made that an increase in the oscillator strengths and line strengths for the hypersensitive transitions and the intensity parameters Ω2 of the Nd, Er, and Tm ions in the CNGG crystals as compared to those for crystals of other garnets is associated with the specific features revealed in the crystal structure of the calcium niobium gallium garnet, in particular, with the lowering of the symmetry of the positions occupied by rare-earth ions in the crystal structure.  相似文献

The photoabsorption in small deformed metal clusters is considered. The valence electron spill-out is disregarded. It is shown that in the deformed clusters the giant dipole resonance splits into two separate resonances. This splitting is due to the difference of the oscillator frequencies for the electron motion in the effective field of the deformed clusters. The ratio of the cross-sections in the resonance maxima is obtained. The theoretical results are compared with the experimental data.  相似文献

As a model of the actual structure of the planetary plasmasphere, we consider the electrodynamical problem of electric field and current generation by a planet with a dipole magnetic field corotating with the plasma envelope. The plasma envelope is characterized by the conductivity and angular velocity of the magnetospheric plasma as functions of the distance τ from the planet center and the angle ? measured from the rotation axis. The exact solutions of the Maxwell equations are obtained in the axially symmetric case within the framework of unipole electrodynamics when the rotational and magnetic axes coincide. These solutions describe the possible distributions of electric fields, currents, and charges in the rotating plasma envelope surrounding the magnetized planet. As an exmple, we constructed, using the theory proposed, the exact solution corresponding to the following structure of the plasmasphere:
  1. the plasmasphere region corotating with the planet and located between L-shells (L=τ/Rsin 2 ?, where R is the radius of the planet) from L=1 to L=L*;
  2. the polar region with differential, spherically symmetric rotation;
  3. the transient region of the plasmasphere rotating differentially with the angular velocity dependent on the L-number and located between L-shells from L=L* to L=L*+L0;
  4. the external (vacuum) region.
Analysis of the multipole expansion of the electrostatic potential showed that the electric field potential is equal to zero in the external region (L>L*+L0), independently of the number of the boundary L-shell. This solution can serve as a basis for simulation of the plasmasphere formation processes, taking into account the actual conditions in the near-planetary plasma envelopes.  相似文献

Partition of native sodium, potassium, magnesium, calcium and radioisotopes of cesium, strontium and curopium was investigated in the aqueous liquid-liquid systems formed after agitation of fresh pasteurized skim bovine milk with 4% w/w water solution of pectin of various degree of esterification (60–93%). The partition of the ions in the membraneless dialysis was described by Donnan equilibria and ion-exchange in the macro- and microheterogenous systems and, within uncertainty of results, does not depend on the degree of esterification. Strong negative non-ideality of Sr and Eu in milk phase is attributed to binding with proteins, casein particles in particular, and complexation with low molecular ligands. Separation factor =D(Sr)/D(Ca) is 0.70±0.06, in favor of strontium concentration in pectin phase. While >96% of cesium is diffusible to pectin phase, only 43–56% (depending on physico-chemical model of dialysis) of strontium behaves in that way, and in original milk phase the percent of strontium cationic form may be as low as 13%.  相似文献
