Irreversible normal zones leading to quench is an important aspect of high-temperature superconductors (HTS) in all practical applications. As a consequence of quench, transport current gets diverted to the matrix stabilizer material of the high-T c composite and causes Joule heating till the original conditions are restored. The nature of growth of the resistive zone in the superconductor greatly influences the temperature evolution of the quenched zone. In this investigation, a complete mathematical analysis of the temperature profile evolution following a quench in a HTS has been carried out. Such prediction in temperature profile would aid the design of HTS tape-based practical applications in limiting the thermal stress-induced damages in off-normal scenarios.  相似文献

We consider a model that contains two coupled superconducting charge qubits by sharing a large Josephson junction. We examine the dynamical properties of the linear entropy of two qubits and the probability of both qubits being in an excited state. The results show that the initial mean photon number, the initial phase of the field and the relative phase of the two qubits' levels play an important role in the evolution of the linear entropy of the two qubits and the probability.  相似文献

The water gas shift (WGS) reaction is reacts with water on a catalytic surface a process of industrial importance to form CO2 and H2. We study this In this reaction carbon monoxide reaction with thermal (Langmuir- Hinshelwood) and non-thermal (precursor and Eley-Rideal) reaction mechanisms using the techniques of Monte Carlo computer simulation. The details of surface coverages and production rates are given as a function of CO partial pressure. The diffusion of species on the surface as well as their desorption from the surface is also introduced to include temperature effects. The phase diagrams of the system have been drawn to observe the behaviour of reacting species on the surface. The study reveals that the production rates are higher for non-thermal precursor mechanism and are in agreement with the experimental finding.  相似文献

The study of non-axisymmetric Homann stagnation-point flow of Walter's B nanofluid along with magnetohydrodynamic(MHD) and non-linear Rosseland thermal radiation over a cylindrical disk in the existence of the time-independent free stream is considered. Moreover, the notable impacts of thermophoresis and Brownian motion are analyzed by Buongiorno's model. The momentum, energy, and concentration equations are converted into the dimensionless coupled ordinary differential equations via similarity transformations, which are later numerically solved by altering the values of the pertinent parameters. The numerical and asymptotic solutions for the large shear-to-strain rate ratio γ =a/bfor the parameters of the displacement thicknesses and the wall-shear stress are computed by perturbative expansion and analyzed. Furthermore, the technique bvp4c in MATLAB is deployed as an efficient method to analyze the calculations for the non-dimensional velocities, temperature, displacement thickness, and concentration profiles. It is observed that the two-dimensional displacement thickness parameters α andβ are reduced due to the viscoelasticity and magnetic field effects. Moreover, when the shear-to-strain rate ratio approaches infinity, α is closer to its asymptotic value, while βand the three-dimensional displacement thickness parameter δ_1 show the opposite trend.The outcomes of the viscoelasticity and the magnetic field on the skin friction are also determined. It is concluded that ■ reaches its asymptotic behavior when the shearto-strain rate ratio approaches infinity. Meanwhile, ■ shows different results.  相似文献

In this article, we discuss the existence and uniqueness of solutions for a coupled two-parameter system of sequential fractional integro-differential equations supplemented with nonlocal integro-multipoint boundary conditions. The standard tools of the fixed-point theory are employed to obtain the main results. We emphasize that our results are not only new in the given configuration, but also correspond to several new special cases for specific values of the parameters involved in the problem at hand.  相似文献

The laser wakefield-driven plasma wave in a low-density plasma is seen to be susceptible to the oscillating two-stream instability (OTSI). The plasma wave couples to two short wavelength plasma wave sidebands. The pump plasma wave and sidebands exert a ponderomotive force on the electrons driving a low-frequency quasimode. The electron density perturbation associated with this mode couples with the pump-driven electron oscillatory velocity to produce nonlinear currents driving the sidebands. At large pump amplitude, the instability grows faster than the ion plasma frequency and ions do not play a significant role. The growth rate of the quasimode, at large pump amplitude scales faster than linear. The growth rate is maximum for an optimum wave number of the quasimode and also increases with pump amplitude. Nonlocal effects, however reduce the growth rate by about half.  相似文献

Photoinitiated substitution complex of [Fe(CN)6]4- with imidazole has been synthesized and characterized. In this paper,we are dealing with the study of the metric dimension of some classes of regular graphs by considering a class of bridgeless cubic graphs called the flower snarks Jn,a class of cubic convex polytopes considering the open problem raised in [M.Imran et al.,families of plane graphs with constant metric dimension,Utilitas Math.,in press] and finally Harary graphs H 5,n by partially answering to an open problem proposed in [I.Javaid et al.,Families of regular graphs with constant metric dimension,Utilitas Math.,2012,88:43-57].We prove that these classes of regular graphs have constant metric dimension.  相似文献

Six new aliphatic alcohol and ester compounds of n-octacos-9-enyl propionate (1), 4-(3-formylheptyl)cyclohexyl 4-(cyclohexylcarbonyloxymethyl)cyclohexyl-carboxylate (2), n-hentriacont-25-en-5α-ol (3), n-hexetriacont-9,26-dien-8α,11β,23α-triol (4), n-tetracontan-15α-ol (5) and n-tritetracontan-5α-ol (6) were isolated from the hulls of Oryza sativa.
