We present high resolution 133Cs-13C double resonance NMR data and 13C-13C NMR correlation spectra of 13C enriched samples of the polymeric phase of CsC60. These data lead to a partial assignment of the lines in the 13C NMR spectrum of CsC60 to the carbon positions on the C60 molecule. A plausible completion of the assignment can be made on the basis of an ab initio calculation. The data support the view that the conduction electron density is concentrated at the C60 "equator," away from the interfullerene bonds. 相似文献

Knowledge of the energy band diagram is very important in semiconductor physics due to the fact that the band diagram influences almost all parts of the physics of a semiconductor device. In this paper we examine a piecewise-constant approximation of the potential profile through a comparison with a comprehensive self-consistent model, with regard to the active regions of QW semiconductor lasers and amplifiers. 11B spin-lattice relaxation measurements have been carried out in SmB6 samples with large low-temperature resistivities. Above 15 K the relaxation is activated, with approximately the same gap (≈6 meV) as found previously in transport and optical measurements. 4f spin fluctuations apparently dominate the relaxation, so that these results give strong evidence for 4f-conduction band hybridization at the gap edge. An anomalous peak in the relaxation rate was observed at ≈5 K, which is tentatively attributed to fluctuations of “remagnetized” Sm3+ ions near Sm-site vacancies. 相似文献

The discovery and investigation of exciplex luminescence in the polyatomic molecule vapors1-4 is of great importance for better understanding of the relaxation mechanisms in bimolecular complexes formed due to the charge transfer between photo-excited organic molecules and other type of molecules in the ground state.
