In order to meet the practical needs of all-fiber conductivity-temperature-depth sensors with high sensitivity,compact structure,and easy packaging,this Letter uses a microfiber coupler combined with fiber loop(MCFL)reflective photonic device to conduct salinity,temperature,and deep sensing experiments.These MCFLs’dynamic range and resolution of salinity,temperature,and depth can meet the requirements of actual marine environment monitoring.This structure opens up a new design idea for the practical research of microfiber coupler-based marine environmental parameter sensors. 相似文献

We have demonstrated the highly efficient excitation of the linearly polarized mode(LP01)in ring-core fibers(RCFs)by tapering the spliced point between the RCF and the standard single-mode fiber(SMF)to optimize all-fiber orbital angular momentum(OAM)generation.The tapering technique has been investigated theoretically and experimentally.Before tapering,only 50%of light can be coupled from SMFs to RCFs.The modal interference spectrum with an extinction ratio(ER)of~9 dB is observed,showing that higher-order modes are excited in RCF.By tapering the spliced point,90%of light is coupled,and the ER is minimized to be~2 dB,indicating that the higher-order modes are effectively suppressed by tapering.Such tapered spliced points of RCF–SMF are further applied for all-fiber OAM generation.The efficiencies of OAM+1 and OAM?1 generation are found to be enhanced by approximately 11.66%and 12.41%,respectively,showing that the tapered spliced point of the RCF–SMF is a feasible way to optimize OAM generation. 相似文献

This study presents a two-dimensional phononic crystal with heat flux manipulation and wide bandgaps of out-of-plane modes within the low-frequency range. The anisotropic matrix made of spiral-multilayered materials with different thermal conductivities, and the coating layer inserted with metal are designed for heat flux manipulation. Rubber-coated metal cylinders are periodically embedded in the anisotropic matrix to obtain the low-frequency bandgaps of out-of-plane modes. Numerical simulation is carried out to validate the heat and elastic characteristics of the spiral-multilayered anisotropic structure and reveal the effects of the laying angle and temperature on the bandgaps. Subsequently, a spiral-multilayered plate with periodic structures is studied, which shows an obvious vibration attenuation in the frequency ranges of the bandgaps and a deflected heat flux from the initial propagation direction. In the experimental investigation, the multi-phase spiral-multilayered anisotropic plate is simplified to a single-phase anisotropic plate made of aluminum. The characteristics of this type of anisotropic phononic crystal structure may pave the way for the design of a new kind of thermo-acoustic metamaterial serving in combined thermal and acoustic environments. 相似文献

The landscape of organic molecule on Si(100) surface has a great significance for organic functionalisation of Si semiconductor. Several possible adsorption configurations for pyridazine on Si(100) surface have been forecasted by systemic comparison and investigation. The C1s XPS and NEXAFS spectra of these adsorption systems based on density functional theory and full core-hole potential approximation have been calculated. Although the sensibility of XPS to these adsorption configurations is not very strong, these configurations can be absolutely distinguished by NEXAFS spectra, which will bring tremendous reference to the future experimental study. Mode II, III, V and VI have a significantly higher adsorption energy, which are most likely to be present in experiment. In addition, we have made the research on specific sources of the peaks in spectra by analysing their decomposed NEXAFS spectra, the results show that the Carbon atoms which do not bond to surface atoms, make the most contribute to the intensity of characteristic peaks in spectra. 相似文献

ABSTRACT Kinetics of multiply ferrite/bainite phase transformation of HSLA steels is investigated by experiments and cellular automaton (CA) simulation. Peak-differentiation method to elucidate the sequential ferrite and bainite phase transformation individually, which is verified by the CA simulation. Such CA modelling executed using classic JMAK theory, but also gives an insight of microstructure evolution of the multi-phase transformation routine on different cooling rate. From that, it enables classic JMAK modelling to capture the detached phase transformation with different growth models and interface-migration mechanisms. Also, we find that the final phase constitution is sensitive to the cooling rate. With increasing the cooling rate, bainite sheaves nucleated at prior austenite boundaries and ferrite/austenite interfaces are significantly facilitated, which seriously inhibits the growth of prior ferrites. The scenario can be interpreted by the CA simulation and the influence of the cooling rate on sequential multi-phase transformation can be also obtained. 相似文献

This paper applies a novel quad-layer resist and e-beam
lithography technique to fabricate a GaAs-based InAlAs/InGaAs
metamorphic high electron mobility transistor (HEMT) grown by metal
organic chemical vapour deposition (MOCVD). The gate length of
the metamorphic HEMT was 150~nm, the maximum current density was
330~mA/mm, the maximum transconductance was 470~mS/mm, the threshold
voltage was -0.6~V, and the maximum current gain cut-off frequency
and maximum oscillation frequency were 102~GHz and 450~GHz,
respectively. This is the first report on tri-termination devices
whose frequency value is above 400~GHz in China. The excellent
frequency performances promise the possibility of metamorphic HEMTs
grown by MOCVD for millimetre-wave applications, and more
outstanding device performances would be obtained after optimizing
the material structure, the elaborate T-gate and other device
