An integrated gas chromatographic system has been successfully developed and implemented for the measurement of oxygen, nitrogen, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and light hydrocarbons in one single analysis. These analytes are frequently encountered in critical industrial petrochemical and chemical processes like catalytic cracking of naphtha or diesel fuel to lighter components used in gasoline. The system employs a practical, effective configuration consisting of two three-port planar microfluidic devices in series with each other, having built-in fluidic gates, and a mid-point pressure source. The use of planar microfluidic devices offers intangible advantages like in-oven switching with no mechanical moving parts, an inert sample flow path, and a leak-free operation even with multiple thermal cycles. In this way, necessary features such as selectivity enhancement, column isolation, column back-flushing, and improved system cleanliness were realized. Porous layer open tubular capillary columns were employed for the separation of hydrocarbons followed by flame ionization detection. After separation has occurred, carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide were converted to methane with the use of a nickel-based methanizer for detection with flame ionization. Flow modulated thermal conductivity detection was employed to measure oxygen and nitrogen. Separation of all the target analytes was achieved in one single analysis of less than 12 min. Reproducibility of retention times for all compounds were found to be less than 0.1% (n = 20). Reproducibility of area counts at two levels, namely 100 ppmv and 1000 ppmv over a period of two days were found to be less than 5.5% (n = 20). Oxygen and nitrogen were found to be linear over a range from 20 ppmv to 10,000 ppmv with correlation coefficients of at least 0.998 and detection limits of less than 10 ppmv. Hydrocarbons of interest were found to be linear over a range from 200 ppbv to 1000 ppmv with correlation coefficients of greater than 0.999 and detection limits of less than 100 ppbv.  相似文献

Myricetin is an important flavonol whose medically important properties include activities as an antioxidant, anticarcinogen, and antimutagen. The solubility, stability, and other biological properties of the compounds can be enhanced by conjugating aglycon with sugar moieties. The type of sugar moiety also plays a significant role in the biological and physical properties of the natural product glycosides. Reconstructed Escherichia coli containing thymidine diphosphate-α-l-rhamnose sugar gene cassette and Arabidopsis-derived glycosyltransferase were used for rhamnosylation of myricetin. Myricetin (100 μM) was exogenously supplemented to induced cultures of engineered E. coli. The formation of target product—myricetin-3-O-α-l-rhamnoside—was confirmed by chromatographic and NMR analyses. The yield of product was improved by using various mutants and methylated cyclodextrin as a molecular carrier for myricetin in combination with E. coli M3G3. The maximal yield of product is 55.6 μM (3.31-fold higher than the control E. coli MG3) and shows 55.6 % bioconversion of substrate under optimized conditions.  相似文献

Thermal reactions of N‐benzylidene‐ and N‐(2‐pyridylmethylidene)‐tert‐butylamines ( 5 and 13 ) under FVT conditions have been investigated. Unexpectedly, at 800 °C, compound 5 yields 1,2‐dimethylindole and 3‐methylisoquinoline. In the reaction of 13 at 800 °C, 3‐methylimidazo[1,5‐a]pyridine was obtained as the major product. Mechanisms of these reactions have been proposed on the basis of DFT calculations. Furthermore, UV‐photoelectron spectroscopy combined with FVT has been applied for direct monitoring and characterization of the thermolysis products in situ.  相似文献

Rod-like cellulose nanowhiskers and spherical cellulose nanoparticles were prepared from wood-pulp-derived cellulose powder by mechanical refining processes such as high-pressure homogenization (HPH) and ball-milling (BM). The nanowhiskers obtained by the HPH method were found to be 200–500 nm long and 11–16 nm wide. The diameters of the nanoparticles were in the range 40–200 nm, depending on the BM time, and were reduced to 25–50 nm after extra HPH. By adjusting the BM time, cellulose nanoparticles having different polymorphs with similar morphologies were prepared. The X-ray diffraction patterns revealed the recrystallization of cellulose I (1 h of BM time) or cellulose II (4–8 h of BM time) in ball-milled nanoparticles after water washing and solvent exchange treatments. The nanowhisker widths derived from the specific surface areas (SSA) by adsorption methods such as Congo red dye, nitrogen, and water vapor, sorptions were in agreement with those obtained from transmission electron microscopy and atomic force microscopy images. Similar SSA values were obtained for micro- and nano-scale cellulose materials using water vapor adsorption methods, and the SSAs of nanoparticles obtained by different adsorption methods are also discussed.  相似文献

A novel and time-saving method to prepare a Brønsted acidic ionic liquid, 1-carboxymethyl-3-methylimidazolium hydrogen sulfate ([CMI][HSO4]), in high yield and purity was performed under microwave irradiation. The ionic liquid showed an incomparable catalytic efficiency in the microwave-accelerated esterification of arenecarboxylic acids. Moreover, its ability of being recovered and reused many times without loss of activity has made [CMI][HSO4] more favorable from the viewpoint of green chemistry.  相似文献

Herein, we disclosed the contra-thermodynamic EZ isomerization of alkenyl silanes, according to the in situ formation of a chromophoric species, in the presence of rac-BINAP as the catalyst. The reaction carried out in DMSO or CH3CN under irradiation at 405 nm allowed the interconversion of the E-isomers into the Z-congeners in good to excellent yields and outstanding Z/E selectivities, on 18 examples. Finally, the mechanism of this EZ isomerization was studied to get insight into the reaction mechanism.  相似文献

The main protease (Mpro) is a major protease having an important role in viral replication of the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), the novel coronavirus that caused the pandemic of 2020. Here, active Mpro was obtained as a 34.5 kDa protein by overexpression in E. coli BL21 (DE3). The optimal pH and temperature of Mpro were 7.5 and 37 °C, respectively. Mpro displayed a Km value of 16 μM with Dabcyl-KTSAVLQ↓SGFRKME-Edans. Black garlic extract and 49 polyphenols were studied for their inhibitory effects on purified Mpro. The IC50 values were 137 μg/mL for black garlic extract and 9–197 μM for 15 polyphenols. The mixtures of tannic acid with puerarin, daidzein, and/or myricetin enhanced the inhibitory effects on Mpro. The structure–activity relationship of these polyphenols revealed that the hydroxyl group in C3′, C4′, C5′ in the B-ring, C3 in the C-ring, C7 in A-ring, the double bond between C2 and C3 in the C-ring, and glycosylation at C8 in the A-ring contributed to inhibitory effects of flavonoids on Mpro.  相似文献
