In the last years, new strict environmental regulations to reduce sulfur content in liquid fuels have been established. Thiophene derivates can be considered as the key substances to be separated from liquid fuel oils. This paper reports the ability of the ionic liquid 1-methyl-3-octylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate to act as solvent in the (liquid + liquid) extraction of thiophene from aliphatic hydrocarbons. Tie-line data have been determined for ternary systems containing the ionic liquid, thiophene, and some n-alkanes at T = 298.15 K. Extraction process has been analyzed by means of thiophene distribution ratio and selectivity. The solute distribution coefficient decreases and the selectivity increases as the chain length of n-alkane increases. The use of 1-methyl-3-octylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate as potential solvent for separation of thiophene from n-alkanes is feasible using the necessary quantity of solvent. A correlation of the equilibrium data reported here has also been made, using the NRTL activity coefficient model, in order to facilitate their use in simulation and design processes.  相似文献

The synthesis of new D-seco-C-nor-taxane derivatives in which the D-ring has been deleted and the C-ring has been transformed into a new pentatomic ring, i.e., the polyfunctionalized tetrahydrofuranosyl and cyclopentenyl or cyclopentyl ring, was performed starting from baccatin III derivatives. The synthetic strategy adopted took advantage of the oxetane ring opening and disconnection of the C4-C5 bond, followed by an intramolecular condensation. The formation of furanosyl or cyclopentyl rings is strictly dependent on the presence of unprotected or protected oxygen at C-7 in the starting material. The reactions proceeded with good diastereoselectivity with control of the stereochemistry of one or two stereocenters.  相似文献

The nano-LC technique is increasingly used for both fast studies on enantiomeric analysis and test beds of novel stationary phases due to the small volumes involved and the short conditioning and analysis times. In this study, the enantioseparation of 10 drugs from different families was carried out by nano-LC, utilizing silica with immobilized amylose tris(3-chloro-5-methylphenylcarbamate) column. The effect on chiral separation caused by the addition of different salts to the mobile phase was evaluated. To simultaneously separate as many enantiomers as possible, the effect of buffer concentration in the mobile phase was studied, and, to increase the sensitivity, a liquid–liquid microextraction based on the use of isoamyl acetate as sustainable extraction solvent was applied to pre-concentrate four chiral drugs from tap and environmental waters, achieving satisfactory recoveries (>70%).  相似文献

With their bent π-systems, cyclic conjugation and inherent cavities, conjugated nanohoops are attractive for organic electronics applications. For ease of processing and morphological stability, an incorporation into polymers is desirable, but to date was hampered with few exceptions by synthetic difficulties. We herein present a unique strategy for the synthesis of conjugated nanohoop polymers using a dibenzo[a,e]pentalene (DBP) as central connector. We demonstrate this versatility by synthesizing three electronically diverse copolymers with dithienyldiketo(pyrrolopyrrol), fluorene and carbazole comonomers, and report the first donor-acceptor nanohoop polymer. Optoelectronic investigations reveal the prevalence of cyclic or linear conjugation, depending on the comonomer unit, and ambipolar electrochemical properties through the antiaromatic character of the DBP units. As the first report on using conjugated nanohoops for charge storage as positive electrode materials, we show a significant improvement in battery performance in a nanohoop-containing polymer compared to an equivalent nanohoop-free reference polymer. We believe this study will pave the way for the synthesis of a diverse range of nanohoop polymers and further stimulate their exploration for charge storage in batteries.  相似文献

The ionic liquid 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium ethylsulfate has been tested as solvent for the separation of thiophene from aliphatic hydrocarbons. Liquid–liquid equilibrium data have been determined for ternary systems containing the ionic liquid, thiophene and C6, C7, C12 or C16 alkanes at T = 298.15 K. The performance of the ionic liquid as solvent in such systems has been evaluated. The experimental data were correlated using the NRTL and UNIQUAC equations, and the binary interaction parameters have been reported. The phase diagrams for the ternary mixtures including both the experimental and calculated tie-lines have been presented.  相似文献

Neutron diffraction and X-ray absorption near-edge structure (XANES) studies have been performed in La0.5Ca0.5MnO2.5, La0.5Sr0.5MnO2.5 and Nd0.5Sr0.5MnO2.5 oxygen-deficient perovskite compounds obtained by topotactic reduction. They all exhibit a brownmillerite structure with G-type antiferromagnetic ordering. Mn2+, Mn3+ and Mn4+ coexist at the octahedral sites, whereas only Mn2+ is placed in the tetrahedral positions. A magnetic moment of 1.6 microB has been detected at the tetrahedral layers, which can be explained by assuming Mn2+ is in a low-spin configuration.  相似文献

The crystal structures of KMn(4)(PO(4))(3) and KCo(4)(PO(4))(3) have been determined by neutron diffraction at room temperature. Both compounds are orthorhombic with similar cell parameters, but they crystallize in different space groups, Pnam for the Mn phosphate and Pnnm for the Co analogue. On the basis of the metal cation polyhedra and their connectivity, the crystal structures have been rationalised, which allow interpretation of the main magnetic interactions between them. Magnetic measurements show ferromagnetic behaviour for the Co compound, whereas in the Mn derivative antiferromagnetism is observed. Both magnetic structures are described and qualitatively analysed in terms of superexchange and super-superexchange interactions.  相似文献

The organocatalytic conjugate addition of different aldehydes to beta-nitroacrolein dimethyl acetal, generating the corresponding highly functionalized nitroaldehydes in high yields and with high stereoselectivities, has been studied in detail. These transformations have been achieved by using both readily available starting materials in a 1:1 ratio as well as commercially available catalysts at a 10 mol % catalyst loading. Furthermore, a very short and efficient protocol has been devised for the preparation of highly enantioenriched pyrrolidines containing two or three contiguous stereocenters starting from the obtained Michael adducts. 3,4-Disubstituted pyrrolidines have been obtained in a single step by Zn-mediated chemoselective reduction of the nitro group followed by intramolecular reductive amination, and trisubstituted homoproline derivatives have been prepared by means of an olefination reaction and a cascade process involving chemoselective reduction of the nitro group followed by a fully diastereoselective intramolecular aza- Michael reaction.  相似文献

The enantiomerically pure pinene-bipyridine-based receptor, (-) or (+) L(-), diastereoselectively self-assembles in dry acetonitrile in the presence of Ln(III) ions (Ln = La, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, and Tb) to give a C3-symmetrical, pyramidal architecture with the general formula [Ln4(L)9(mu3-OH)](ClO4)2) (abbreviated as tetra-Ln4L9). Three metal centers shape the base: an equilateral triangle surrounded by two sets of helically wrapping ligands with opposite configurations. This part of the structure is very similar to the species [Ln3(L)6(mu3-OH)(H2O)3](ClO4)2) (recently reported by us and abbreviated as tris-LnL2) formed by the ligand and the Ln(III) ions when the reactions are performed in methanol. The tetranuclear structure is completed by a capping, helical unit LnL3 whose chirality is also predetermined by the chirality of the ligand. A complete characterization of these isostructural, chiral compounds was performed in solid state (X-ray, IR) and in solution (ES-MS, NMR, CD, UV-vis and emission spectroscopies). The sign and the intensity of the CD bands in the region of the pi pi* transitions of the bipyridine (absolute Delta epsilon values at 327 nm are about 280 M(-1) x cm(-1)) are highly influenced by the helicity of the capping fragment LnL3. The photophysical properties (lifetime, quantum yield) of the visible (Eu and Tb complexes) and NIR (Nd complex) emitters indicate a good energy transfer between the ligands and the metal centers. The two related superstructures tetra-Ln4L9 and tris-LnL2 can be interconverted in acetonitrile, the switching process depending on the amount of water present in the solvent, the size of the Ln(III) ion, and the concentration. The weak chiral recognition capabilities of the self-assembly leading to the formation of tetra-Ln4L9 either by direct synthesis from a racemic mixture of the ligand and Ln(III) ions or by the conversion of a tris-Ln[(+/-)-L]2 racemate were likewise demonstrated.  相似文献
