The interactions of Rose Bengal (RB) with alpha-cyclodextrin (alpha-CD), hydroxypropyl-beta-cyclodextrin (HP-beta-CD), hydroxypropyl-gamma-cyclodextrin (HP-gamma-CD), heptakis(2,3,6-tri-O-methyll)-beta-cyclodextrin (TM-beta-CD) were studied in aqueous solutions of 0.1 M KClO(4) and 0.1 M LiClO(4) by vis absorption, fluorescence spectroscopy as well as electrochemical measurements at 298 K. The spectrophometric results indicate that RB is included in all beta- and gamma-CDs forming complexes with a stoichiometry 1:1 whose stability is slightly higher in KClO(4) than in LiClO(4) solutions. The complex stability constants determined for salt-containing CD solutions are lower than those for water solutions. The complexation of RB with beta- and gamma-CD and the differences between the complexes obtained in the presence of the two salts were confirmed by an electrochemical study. 相似文献

Chitosan/tripolyphosphate (CHIT/TPP) and chitosan/tripolyphosphate/chondroitin sulfate (CHIT/TPP/CHS) core-shell type microspheres were prepared by polyelectrolyte complexation in order to develop a biocompatible matrix for drug delivery. The continual method using a multi-loop reactor under sterile conditions was applied for microsphere preparation. All the types of microspheres produced were spherical in shape and had a porous structure. The mechanical resistance of the microspheres increased in the presence of CHS as the second polyanion, which toughened the microsphere shell structure. For a drug release application, the process of microsphere preparation was modified by dissolving ofloxacin (OFL), the fluoroquinolone antibiotic, in CHIT solution before complex formation. This study shows the difference in OFL release comparing the microspheres CHIT/TPP and CHIT/TPP/CHS and implies the potential to control this process. 相似文献

Metabolic Syndrome (MS) is recognized as a cluster of cardiovascular risk factors. All components of MS have a genetic base. Genes of the renin angiotensin system are potential candidate genes for MS. We investigated whether angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) gene polymorphism increases susceptibility to MS as an entity in a Mexican population. In a cross-sectional study, 514 individuals were studied including 245 patients with MS and 269 subjects without MS criteria. ACE gene polymorphism was detected using PCR. The structural relationship between the two crystal forms of cinchomeronic acid (CA 3,4-dicarboxypyridine) has been investigated by single crystal X-ray diffraction, IR and Raman spectroscopy and solid state NMR spectroscopy, showing that the two polymorphs form a monotropic system, with the orthorhombic form I being the thermodynamically stable form, while the monoclinic form II is unstable. In both forms CA crystallizes as a zwitterion and decomposes before melting. The crystal structure and spectroscopic analysis indicate that the difference in stability can be ascribed to the strength of the hydrogen-bonding patterns established by the protonated N-atom and the carboxylic/carboxylate O-atoms. 相似文献

A novel microwave method has been applied to the hydrothermal extraction of essential oil from plants. An insulated microwave coaxial antenna was introduced inside a 1000 ml glass flask containing dry Laurus nobilis L. leaves and tap water. Microwave power up to 800 W at 2450 MHz was emitted in continuous wave regime (CW) or in pulsed regime (PR) at 8 kW peak power. Stirring with a magnetic bar and a Clevenger refrigerator connected to the flask enabled to complete the extraction in 1 h. The results of the in situ microwave extraction were compared with those obtained by heating the same reactor with a conventional electric mantle by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) analysis. Differences were observed both in the composition of the essential oil and from the energetic point of view. The essential oil obtained with microwave (MW) methods contained substantially higher amounts of oxygenated compounds and lower amounts of monoterpenes than conventional method. The in situ microwave heating is safe and versatile; it presents time and energy saving advantages, and therefore it can be considered useful also for industrial applications. 相似文献

Organically modified clays are largely employed in the preparation of nanostructured materials. The structural and dynamic characterization of the clay surface appears very important in the perspective of understanding the molecular mechanisms determining the improvement of the material properties. To this aim, in this work, a synthetic clay, Laponite, was studied in its untreated hydrophilic Na+-form, after ion exchange with alkylammonium cations and after subsequent grafting reaction with an alkoxysilane. These three samples were characterized by IR, SEM, TGA, and X-ray techniques and were deeply investigated by means of a wide combination of 29Si, 13C, and 1H high- and low-resolution solid-state NMR experiments. The grafting reaction with alkoxysilanes, occurring at the clay platelet edges, resulted in a reduction of the clay inter-platelet distances, and in an increased disorder in both the arrangement of the platelets and the conformational structure of the intercalated organic cation chains, probably due to the relative twisting of adjacent platelets. 相似文献

Effective nanoreactors based on polyethyleneimines (PEIs) for the hydrolytic cleavage of O-alkyl O-p-nitrophenyl chloromethylphosphonates (alkyl = ethyl, hexyl) and di(p-nitrophenyl)phosphate were developed in conformity with the idea of modeling the polyfunctional catalytic mechanism of enzymes. A step-by-step modification of the single PEI solution by additives with their own catalytic activities (sodium dodecyl sulfate and lanthanum salt) gave rise to a marked improvement in the reaction efficiency. A 104-106-fold acceleration of the reaction compared to the aqueous basic hydrolysis of the substrates was achieved in the sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyethyleneimine-La(III) ternary system. This system can be considered to be metallomicelles immobilized on a hydrophilic polymer matrix. When the PEI immobilized on silica gel was used as a catalyst, the full completion of the reaction was achieved for 100 min under mild conditions, while the half-life of the reaction in a comparable homogeneous regime exceeds 100 h. 相似文献
