On separation of gradient Young measures

Let be a linear subspace of real matrices without rank-one matrices and let be a finite set. Suppose is a bounded arcwise connected Lipschitz domain and is a sequence of bounded vector-valued mappings in such that in as , where is the closed -neighbourhood and the distance function to . We give estimates for such that up to a subsequence, in for some fixed . In other words, we give estimates on such that separates gradient Young measure. Choquet-type Integral Representation of Invariant Functions for some Product Semigroups

We show that functions which are invariant for suitable product semigroups (one of which is a quasi-Poisson semigroup on a general state space) decompose into a singular eigen-function and a mixture of products of minimal eigen-functions.     

Norm Series in High-Dimensional Local Fields

In the present paper, the notion of norm series with respect to the norm residue symbol is generalized to high-dimensional local fields. An EOQ model with process reliability considerations

The classical economic order quantity (EOQ) model assumes that items produced are of perfect quality and that the unit cost of production is independent of demand. However, in realistic situations, product quality is never perfect, but is directly affected by the reliability of the production process. In this paper, we consider an EOQ model with imperfect production process and the unit production cost is directly related to process reliability and inversely related to the demand rate. In addition, a numerical example is given to illustrate the developed model. Sensitivity analysis is also performed and discussed.
