Single pi(0) photoproduction has been studied with the CB-ELSA experiment at Bonn using tagged photon energies between 0.3 and 3.0 GeV. The experimental setup covers a very large solid angle of approximately 98% of 4pi. Differential cross sections dsigma/dOmega have been measured. Complicated structures in the angular distributions indicate a variety of different resonances being produced in the s channel intermediate state gammap-->N(*)(Delta(*))-->ppi(0). A combined analysis including the data presented in this letter along with other data sets reveals contributions from known resonances and evidence for a new resonance N(2070)D15.  相似文献

The impact of silver pre‐adsorption on germanium growth on Si(113) was investigated using in‐situ low‐energy electron microscopy (LEEM) as well as low‐energy electron diffraction (LEED). The adsorption of silver leads to the formation of a regular pattern of nanofacets along the [1 0] direction. The periodicity of this pattern in [33 ] direction was determined to (44 ± 4) nm. From LEED series at different energies the facets were identified to be of (111) and (115) orientation. While the (111) facets show a (√3 × √3)‐R30° reconstruction, the (115) facets exhibit a (2 × n) superstructure. The subsequent growth of Ge results in the formation of nanoislands that are aligned along the facets. These Ge islands have an anisotropic shape with typical sizes of about 100 nm in [33 ] direction and 400 nm in [1 0] direction. (© 2009 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim)  相似文献

Nonlocal material response distinctively changes the optical properties of nano-plasmonic scatterers and waveguides. It is described by the nonlocal hydrodynamic Drude model, which – in frequency domain – is given by a coupled system of equations for the electric field and an additional polarization current of the electron gas modeled analogous to a hydrodynamic flow. Recent attempt to simulate such nonlocal model using the finite difference time domain method encountered difficulties in dealing with the grad–div operator appearing in the governing equation of the hydrodynamic current. Therefore, in these studies the model has been simplified with the curl-free hydrodynamic current approximation; but this causes spurious resonances. In this paper we present a rigorous weak formulation in the Sobolev spaces H(curl) for the electric field and H(div) for the hydrodynamic current, which directly leads to a consistent discretization based on Nédélec’s finite element spaces. Comparisons with the Mie theory results agree well. We also demonstrate the capability of the method to handle any arbitrary shaped scatterer.  相似文献

Die Strahlenresistenz von reinem und an Aktivkohle sorbiertem Dimethylglyoxim (DMG), das für die selektive Abtrennung von Palladium aus Abfallösungen der Kernbrennstoffwiederaufarbeitung geeignet ist, wurde untersucht. Die Bestrahlung erfolgte bei 20–40 °C mit einer 60Co-γ-Bestrahlungsanlage mit Dosisleistungen von 0,6 bis 1,7 Gy/s in einem Dosisbereich von 2 kGy bis 5 MGy. Die Radiolyseprodukte wurden mit verschiedenen Methoden analysiert und die G-werte bestimmt. Es wurde gezeigt, daβ DMG bis zu Dosen von etwa 110 kGy relativ strahlenresistent ist. Bei höheren Dosen werden die reaktiven NOH-Gruppen des DMG teilweise zerstört, so daβ sie nicht mit Palladium reagieren können. In Verfahren zur Abtrennung von Palladium aus radioaktiven Abfallösungen werden diese Dosen jedoch nicht erreicht. Auf eine unzureichende Strahlenresistenz von DMG zurückzuführende Komplikationen können deshalb ausgeschlossen werden.  相似文献

TL materials have a small intrinsic sensitivity for fast neutrons. In order to increase this sensitivity one uses hydrogen containing radiators giving recoil protons as a result of the neutron interaction. By combining the proton radiator technique with the use of TL detectors having various glow peaks with a different response to recoil protons an additional sensitivity yield can be reached. The paper deals with the calculation procedure for the (radiator) sensitivity component. For the LiF phosphors TLD-600 and TLD-700 calculated and experimentally determined fast neutron sensitivities are presented for the glow peaks V and VII. The results show that for accident dosimetry a sufficient agreement of the dedector response with the dose-to-fluence conversion factors is obtained.  相似文献

Abstract

The reaction of 2-pyridine carboxylic acid (Hpic) with (n-Bu4N)[TcNCl4] and (n-Bu4N)[TcOCl4] in ethanol and methanol, respectively, yields the dinuclear μ-oxo complex [(pic)2NTc-O-TcN(pic)(Hpic)Cl] and the monomeric complex [TcO(pic)2Cl].

Visible and infrared spectroscopy, ESR, 1H-NMR and 99Tc-NMR have been used to characterize the new compounds. The most important field of application for the new compounds synthesized is radiodiagnostics.  相似文献

The beam quality of radioactive ion beams produced by present target ion source technology is often not sufficient for direct post-acceleration. Furthermore, pulsed beams insure a more efficient use of an accelerator. In the case of REX-ISOLDE, the post accelerator at the CERN ISOLDE facility, a gas-filled Penning trap (REXTRAP) has been chosen for accumulation of the radioactive ions and conversion into cooled bunches. Radial centering of the ions is achieved by applying an rf field with a frequency equal to the cyclotron frequency of the desired ion species. The efficiency achieved in the first tests with different isotopes covering nearly the entire mass range was already >20%. Going to total numbers of >105 stored ions in the trap a shift of the centering frequency could be observed, which is most likely due to space charge effects. Despite this, it was possible to accumulate up to 107 ions and deliver them as cooled bunches. This revised version was published online in July 2006 with corrections to the Cover Date.  相似文献
