Copolymerization of toluene with tetrafluoromethane or octafluorocyclobutane by plasma technique

Plasma copolymerization of toluene with tetrafluoromethane or octafluorocyclobutane was carried out in a capacitively coupled tubular reactor with external electrodes. The polymer structure was characterized by means of XPS, IR, and pyrolysis/GC/MS and the condensates of the gases in the plasma reaction chamber were measured by GC–MS. It is observed that the monomers undergo a plasma states polymerization in a glow discharge and only those monomer fragments with sufficient reactivity join the copolymerization. The types of fluorine-containing groups in the polymer structure are related to the chemical structure of the flurocarbons. The fluorine content depends upon the discharge power, the system pressure, and the fraction of fluorocarbons in the monomers     

Capillary electrophoretic behaviors of pharmacologically active xanthones from Securidaca inappendiculata with beta-cyclodextrin as a buffer additive

The capillary electrophoretic (CE) behaviors of ten xanthones in the presence of beta-cyclodextrin (CD) are investigated, and apparent analyte-selector binding constants between beta-CD and the xanthones in the CE running buffer are calculated to elucidate the migration order. Also, the separation selectivity with beta-CD additive is compared with that of sulfated beta-CD additive. It is indicated that beta-CD can greatly change the separation selectivity of xanthones, and the electrophoretic behaviors of xanthones are rather different when using beta-CD from that when using sulfated beta-CD as an additive.     

Mathematical optimization in intensity modulated radiation therapy

The design of an intensity modulated radiotherapy treatment includes the selection of beam angles (geometry problem), the computation of an intensity map for each selected beam angle (intensity problem), and finding a sequence of configurations of a multileaf collimator to deliver the treatment (realization problem). Until the end of the last century research on radiotherapy treatment design has been published almost exclusively in the medical physics literature. However, since then, the attention of researchers in mathematical optimization has been drawn to the area and important progress has been made. In this paper we survey the use of optimization models, methods, and theories in intensity modulated radiotherapy treatment design.

基于LabView的光纤电流互感器一体化测试系统设计

光纤电流互感器日益成为电力系统中最重要的设备,在实用化研究中,光纤电流互感器的检测精度是重要的指标之一,而被测电流的谐波和光纤电流互感器内部的噪声往往影响其测量的准确性。因此对光纤电流互感器谐波的检测以及对其解调算法实用性的验证非常重要。为进一步的谐波治理提供依据及验证解调算法能否有效运用问题,在详细分析现有的谐波检测理论和两种解调算法原理的基础上,设计了一种基于虚拟仪器LabView的光纤电流互感器谐波检测及解调算法测试一体化系统,在快速检测电流各次谐波电平的同时解调出被测电流的信息并对比验证两种解调算法的可行性与优越性,验证结果表明第二种解调算法的精度明显优越于第一种解调算法,更能适用于光纤电流互感器的信号解调。     

武威医用重离子加速器同步环的准直安装

武威医用重离子加速器是目前世界上最紧凑的重离子加速器治癌装置,同步环周长小至56.1 m,其中很多关键元件的安装定位精度要求达到亚毫米量级,四极透镜的定位精度要求0.1 mm。结合激光跟踪仪的特点和测量学知识通过三维控制网及多重坐标系的转换,探索了一种在元件自身坐标系下调节准直的方法,提高了准直安装的工作效率,使得最后所有的元件安装各向误差均控制在0.1 mm以内,其结果优于该装置的精度要求,使得同步环在短时间内顺利调束成功,从而验证了同步环准直测量的可靠性与准确性。Wuwei Heavy ion medical machine (HIMM) is the most compact accelerator facility for heavy ion therapy in the world,which has a circumference about 56.1 m.The alignment accuracy of many components of the machine should be submillimeter level.For example,the positioning accuracy of quadrupoles should be within 0.1 mm according to design target.With the combination of laser tracker and surveying knowledge,we develop a method that adjusts and collimates elements under the elements themselves coordinates via three-dimensional control network and the transformation of multiple coordinates to improve the efficiency of installation alignment.By this way,the deviation of each direction from all elements is under 0.1 mm and the result is better than the design target,which leads to the successful commission of Wuwei HIMM.Consequently,the feasibility of this method developed is verified.
