纳米技术和纳米医学的研究在生物医学、疾病诊断和治疗方面显示出了巨大的应用潜力. 有机荧光分子基检测技术已被广泛的用作造影和信号转换的工具用以测定痕量的分析物. 然而, 有机荧光分子基团的降解、光漂白作用使得其荧光的稳定性受到影响, 从而限制了它们在复杂的生理环境中的应用. 无机纳米粒子因其形状、尺寸和组成的不同而具有独特且稳定的光、电、磁及催化性能, 可用作新型的生物纳米造影材料, 能很好的解决造影检测技术所面临的难题. 并且, 纳米造影材料的表面修饰则可以提高它们的在生理条件下的稳定性和靶向生物活性分子的能力.

Optimal paths for a light-driven engine with a linear phenomenological heat transfer law

An irreversible light-driven engine is described in this paper, in which the heat transfer between the working fluid and the environment obeys a linear phenomenological heat transfer law [ q ∝Δ(T -1)], with a working fluid composed of the bimolecular reacting system 2SO 3 F■S 2 O 6 F2. The toxicity of Cu~(2+) to Microcystis aeruginosa using dielectric spectroscopy

Dielectric spectroscopy(DS) was utilized to investigate the toxicity of the Cu2+ solution to Microcystis aeruginosa.It was found that 0.04 mM Cu2+ had no effect on dielectric increment,whereas the Cu2+ concentrations above 0.1 mM decreased the value of Δε/Δε intact.The toxic effect of Cu2+ on M.aeruginosa cells was time-dependent and concentration-dependent.There was a threshold concentration between 0.04 mM and 0.1 mM,which affected the cell membrane,suggesting that Cu2+ at the concentrations higher than 0...     

Constructions of optimal difference systems of sets

Difference systems of sets (DSSs) are combinatorial configurations which were introduced in 1971 by Levenstein for the construction of codes for synchronization. In this paper, we present two kinds of constructions of difference systems of sets by using disjoint difference families and a special type of difference sets, respectively. As a consequence, new infinite classes of optimal DSSs are obtained.     

Approximation for counts of head runs

In this paper, we study the count of head runs up to a fixed time in a two-state stationary Markov chain. We prove that in total variance distance, the negative binomial, Poisson and binomial distributions are appropriate approximations according to the relation of the variance and mean of the count, generalizing earlier results in previous literatures. The proof is based on Stein’s method and coupling.

Implementing two optimal economical quantum cloning with superconducting quantum interference devices in a cavity

We propose a unified scheme to implement the optimal 1→ 3economical phase-covariant quantum cloning and optimal 1→3 economical real state cloning with superconducting quantum interference devices (SQUIDs) in a cavity.During this process,no transfer of quantum information between the SQUIDs and cavity is required.The cavity field is only virtually excited.The scheme is insensitive to cavity decay.Therefore,the scheme can be experimentally realized in the range of current cavity QED techniques.
