Liquid-phase synthesis of chiral tartrate ligand library for enantioselective sharpless epoxidation of allylic alcohols

This paper reports a successful development of a group of efficient soluble polymer-supported chiral tartrate ligands by liquid-phase synthesis for Sharpless epoxidation of a variety of allylic alcohols through ligand diversity. The influence of substituent in chiral tartrate ligands on the enantioselectivities of the reaction was disclosed. Moderate chemical yields and good enantiomeric excesses were obtained by using soluble polymer-supported tartrate ester in the epoxidation of allylic alcohols with Ti(O-i-Pr)(4)/tert-butyl hydroperoxide.     

Proteomic analysis of mouse liver for the evaluation of effects of Scutellariae radix by liquid chromatography with tandem mass spectrometry

Scutellariae radix or Scutellaria baicalensis is a medicinal plant that contains major flavonoids such as baicalein, baicalin, wogonin and wogonosides. The present work describes the development of an approach using proteomic analysis of mouse liver to study the effects of prolonged exposure to substances present in chemically standardized Scutellariae radix extracts. Histopathological examination of the mouse liver was compared with the proteome data. The botanical extracts were prepared using pressurized liquid extraction (PLE). A method without isotope labeling was developed, using proteolytic digestion with one- and two-dimensional liquid chromatography with tandem mass spectrometry, and was used to characterize the extent of differential protein expression in mouse liver in response to external factors such as extracts from Scutellariae radix. From the histopathological examination and proteome data, significant changes in the mouse livers were not observed for the low-dose group. The Scutellariae radix extracts at high dose were observed to cause damage at the bile duct and expression change of a number of proteins including some involved in catabolism of triglyceride-rich particles, carbohydrate metabolism, regulators of cell signaling processes, and enzymes involved in biotransformation. Thus, proteomic analysis of liver samples from mice treated with botanical extracts is a promising approach to provide information on any potential toxicity effects of the extracts. The present method also provides another means for comparing proteomes in biological samples such as liver lysates from mice subjected to different treatments.     

硼酸溶液中氯柱硼镁石的溶解及相转化动力学

对氯柱硼镁石（2MgO•2B2O3•MgCl2•14H2O）在4.5％H3BO3水溶液40 ℃的溶解及相转化过程进行了动力学研究.对不同时间取出的液相的化学分析及不同阶段分离固相的鉴定结果表明,该复盐在溶解阶段出现与前所报导不同的同步溶解，最终产物是库水硼镁石（2MgO•3B2O3•15H2O）.提出了库水硼镁石的形成条件和溶解及相转化动力学机理，利用单纯形优化法配合Runge-Kutta微分方程组数值解法对实验数据进行处理，给出了转化结晶动力学方程.     

纳米晶MgSO4·5Mg(OH)2·3H2O合成与表征

纳米材料由于具有表面、体积和量子尺寸效应的特殊性而受到广泛重视[1～3]. 微米级硫氧镁晶须作为塑料添加增强和阻燃剂已有报道[4～7]. 纳米晶MgSO4*5Mg(OH)2*3H2O不仅对塑料起补强作用, 而且其粒度小, 使塑料变得更致密, 强度、韧性与防水性能大大提高. 目前纳米材料的合成方法多种多样[8～10], 本文采用水热法制得纳米硫氧镁晶粒, 产物纯度高、分散性好且粒度易控制.

将未保护的吡喃糖与醋酸酐在分子碘的催化下制得全乙酰吡喃糖 ,随后不经分离直接与溴化氢的冰醋酸溶液( 4 5 %)反应得到全乙酰吡喃溴代糖 .这种一锅法制备全乙酰吡喃溴代糖操作方便 ,收率高 ,经济实用且对环境友好     

The rate of the normal approximation for jackknifingU-statistics

Let U_n be a U-statistic with symmetric kernel h(x,y) such that Eh(X_1,X_2)=θ and Var E[h(X_1,X_2)-θ|X_j]>0.Let f(x) be a function defined on R and f″ be bounded.If f(θ) is the parameterof interest,a natural estimator is f(U_n).It is known that the distribution function of z_n=(n~(1/2){Jf(U_n)-f(θ)})/(S_n~*) converges to the standard normal distribution Φ(x) as n→∞,where Jf(U_n) isthe jackknife estimator of f(U_n),and S_n~(*2) is the jackknife estimator of the asymptotic variance ofn~(1/2) Jf(U_n).It is of theoretical value to study the rate of the normal approximation of the statistic.In this paper,assuming the existence of fourth moment of h(X_1,X_2),we show that(?)|P{z_n≤x}-Φ(x)|=O(n~(-1/2)log n).This improves the earlier results of Cheng(1981).     

The binding number of a graph and its triangle

In this paper we prove the following conjecture of Woodall^[1]: if bind (G)3/2, thenG contains a triangle. Moreover we also prove that if bind (G)3/2, then each vertex is contained in a 4-cycle, each edge is contained in a 5-cycle whenV(G)11, and there exists a 6-cycle inG.     

RAMAN STUDIES OF STRUCTURAL PHASE TRANSITION IN[n-C_(11)H_(28)NH_8]_2ZnCl_4

The perovskite type of compound [n-C_(11)H_(23)N_3]_2ZnCl_4(abr.C_(11)Zn)exhibits two solid-solid phasetransitions at T_(c1)=298.7 K and T_(c2)=360.1 K.A temperature dependence study of Raman spectra of C_(11)Znprovides the evidence of occurence of the structural phase transition related to the dynamics of thealkylammonium ions.The room temperature phase is ordered and contains the all-trans alkyl chains.Theintermediate temperature phase presents a partial conformational disorder and liquidlike state of allconformational disorder occurs at high-temperature phase.
