A non-redundant distribution of ten point sources is used for coded aperture imaging. The coded image of a simple three-dimensional x-ray object is deconvoluted by means of three different decoding systems: by an optical projection system using spatially incoherent light, by an on-line optical set-up with information input using an electro-optic relay tube, and by a quasi-on-line electronic system using an electronic storage-tube. The three methods are compared with respect to signal-to-noise ratio, resolution, and convenience of handling.  相似文献

Because of the problems caused by the irreversible binding of insulins and proinsulins to several silica-based reversed-phase columns, the use of polymeric reversed-phase columns was investigated for the analysis of rat islet polypeptides involved in insulin biosynthesis. No irreversible binding of insulins and proinsulins was observed for the polymeric reversed-phase columns, probably due to the absence of silanol groups. The six polypeptides involved in insulin biosynthesis in rat islets were equally well resolved in shallow trifluoroacetic acid-acetonitrile gradients on the silica-based Nucleosil 300-5C4 column (45 degrees C), the polymer-based Asahipak C4P-50 (25 and 45 degrees C), and ODP-50 columns (45 degrees C). In shallow triethylammonium phosphate-acetonitrile gradients (25 degrees C) satisfactory resolution of the two rat proinsulins was only obtained on the polymer-based Asahipak C4P-50 and C8P-50 columns. Increasing the separation temperature to 45 degrees C improved the separation of the two insulins and the two proinsulins in all cases. The shifts in retention times for the individual islet polypeptides observed in relation to the increased separation temperature were found to be different for the silica C4 and the polymer C4 columns. Recoveries of rat islet polypeptides were comparably high from the silica- and the polymer-based C4 columns and linear load-response curves were obtained in the microgram to picogram mass range on both columns.  相似文献

Tin oxide, antimony-doped tin oxide (ATO), and silica nanosized particles in aqueous dispersion were reacted with various amounts of 3-methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane (MPS). The kinetics were followed by 29Si NMR and the products were analyzed by FTIR and 29Si NMR. The kinetic experiments on ATO and silica revealed that the hydrolysis is the rate-determining step in these reactions. The reaction of MPS with the particles is favored over the homocondensation of MPS. Quantitative analysis using FTIR revealed that the amount of MPS grafted onto the tin oxide and silica particles is limited to the amount needed to fill one monolayer. For ATO the maximum amount of grafted MPS was only 50-70% of the amount that is needed for a closed monolayer. The MPS molecules are for the most part oriented parallel to the oxide surface, and a hydrogen bond between the MPS-carbonyl and the oxide is formed.  相似文献

The outermost atomic layer of perfluorinated thiol monolayers on gold and poly(tetrafluoroethylene) (PTFE) is analyzed by low-energy ion scattering. Absolute quantification of fluorine density in this layer was achieved after calibrating the fluorine signal with a freshly cleaved LiF(100) single crystal. The fluorine density of monolayers of a C8F17-thiol on gold was 1.48 x 10(15) F atoms/cm2, whereas for PTFE a value of 1.24 x 1015 F atoms/cm2 was observed. This difference was explained by the different tilt angles of the thiol on gold and PTFE chains with respect to the surface normal. Both a configurational and a molecular interpretation on the perfluorinated thiol monolayer on gold are given.  相似文献
